I chose the trail going thru the park behind baseball field & park for some of my sons ashes. I spent many a day as sitting at the benches or walking thru praying for him. Peaceful before or after the walkers and talkers. Those who go to parks to walk with there friend or phone aned have heated slanderous add infuriating conservation with what seems there self. And the maintenance cutting grass that is not available. Ok it has some negative nazi issues. But what up with that. You terrorist for sitting in a park these day. The talkers say you gotta keep moving. Ill keep praying thankyou. Other wise peaceful surrounding.

Beautiful area to walk with dogs, picnic with family, fishing, easy hiking/trail running. Ranger drives around lake frequently so it feels safe even at dusk. During winter/spring you will see groups of Canadian geese grazing in the grass. Water fountains and simple but clean bathrooms. Nice place to birdwatch or listen to frogs, crickets, owls. Several workout stations scattered throughout park; tennis courts; beach volleyball court; amphitheater; childrens play ground.

My company had a Company Picnic here. There was a lot of open space for sports and activities. Renting out the shelters was a pretty simple process, but the park did not inform us that certain inflatables were not allowed on park premises so we had to make different arrangements. Different OC parks have different rules on what is allowed, so if you are planning an event with the OC parks, make sure you ask that specific park what is allowed and not.

This regional is nicely situated among residential suburbs and commercial plazas. It gives you the touch of nature and retreat you need from your everyday life in South county. Though I will say fishing isnt the most successful event/activity here if youre basing it on the size of the lake. The bait shop located by the lake is not open, ever, it seems like. Though the peaceful park retreat feeling from traffic and work is what you get.

Great place to go for a walk. Peaceful and has abundant wildlife such geese & birds. Has a lake for fishing, a stream, 2 playgrounds, tennis courts and a good place to go for a run or biking. Lots of covered picnic areas with sinks. Several restrooms in the whole park. Water fountains for people and pets. Entrance fee charged thru main entrance for vehicles, but you can walk in for free and park elsewhere.

One of our favorite parks! If its a holiday, be sure to get there early to secure a picnic table! Covered picnic spots are available for rental. Its perfect for running, too - if you follow the trail its a 5k run! Lots of beautiful trees, bird watching and a big lake. Dive careful, those geese are in no hurry to cross the road and will not move faster just because youre there ;)

Walking around the lake is peaceful, and especially pretty when the sun sets. The park is well maintained. Great place for a party or a picnic. There are volleyball nets, tennis courts, even a horseshoe pit, as well as 2 separate playgrounds. Fishing gets real popular in the winter when the lake gets stocked.

Love this park, visit often as I live across the street. Hiking, biking, picnic and fishing are the primary draws, they also have good playgrounds and tennis courts. Vehicle entry fees are nominal, but you can easily park nearby and walk right in for free.

It was fun I took my kids and their friends and took a walk and there is a trail and it is faster. I recommend this to other families because you can have picnics and play hide and seek and if you follow a trail theirs a park so you should go there!

Its always quiet around the park. I love to just leave my phone at home and go and reconnect with nature. I love to go and utilize the workout equipment they have. Amazing place and its cheap to drive in 3 Monday through Friday and 5 on weekends.

Finally stopped to check out this park. It has a nice lake, lots of geese and some large pavilions for special events. Its not worth the $3 parking just to use the playground, but theres more to the park than I had time to discover.

Could have been a 5 star except they charge you $5 to drive into the parking lot... just there to let the grand kids play on the swings and ride bikes...dont miss the turtles down in the murky stream.

What A great park plenty to do walking hiking biking and playing tennis theres a tennis pro there that teaches a lesson in the afternoon in does camps in the morning. Fun fun fun all day long

Very nice park, a lot of the areas feel secluded. Nice views, lots of trees and opened area to play in. The bathrooms are clean and the tables have running water.
