Apologies in advance for the long review, but if you want to know all the details, stay with me here ☺️ Ive been to EVERY theater in Gaithersburg, Rockville & Germantown and this is by far one of my top favorites (if not my favorite) Yes, a couple other theaters may be larger, have more "fancy" drink choices or "better popcorn" (some complain but this ones popcorn is just fine to me) thats the LEAST important thing to me for a movie experience & I hate the crunch sound while Im trying to watch a movie anyways! Lol and some might have some "fancy" & IMO ABSOLUTELY unnecessary features in their lobbies for a theater (like arcades- even though this one does have a couple games) etc BUT This theater has the EASIEST, FREE parking/access RIGHT outside the doors, always a GREAT selection of movies as well as multiple showings in multiple theaters, wonderful staff, comfortable seats that slightly recline for the best comfort, great quality screens and sound, & regular as well as 3D showings for most movies. Also everything is right there in the lobby, close and accessible & the theaters see all down one long nice hall, all nicely labeled - no confusion of where to go, or having to run around from one place to another before the movie. The theaters have ALWAYS been VERY clean when weve gone (which is often) never had to worry about sticky/crunchy floors or nasty seats- now THATS important to ME. The other people in the theaters EVERY time weve gone here are also some of the quietest & most courteous people. Nothing ruins a movie more than loud, obnoxious attendees! (Im sure there are some everywhere but this theater has been a constant "quiet experience" for us, even when it WAS a little crowded) We recently went here on Valentines Day to see Deadpool & more recently last night to see Suicide Squad in 3D and as usual a WONDERFUL experience! We ran a little late, 4 minutes until showtime - Parked & went straight in, got out tickets in under a minute, drink in under a minute - even with quite a few people in line & we were STILL in the theater, sitting up close as usual (with plenty of seating options, close is my preference but I hate when Im forced to sit somewhere I dont want to because its OVERLY crowded due to only 1 theater playing a movie) before the previews!. A lot of people attend but its RARELY ever OVERLY crowded (except sometimes opening night on a new hit movie - but its usually showing in multiple theaters so that takes care of crowd control & thats expected anyways) Staff has ALWAYS been very courteous, PROMPT, thorough, & they never forget to remind me to use my rewards card (others may not care about that, but I appreciate it as we go often & its saved me a bunch) Theres even, quite often, some type of fun set-up in the lobby for picture opportunities while you wait/are coming out, like prop setups etc (great since I have 2 young kids and a teen & they LOVE that! Just had the worst experience at this theatre with their security. I thought if I bought the rated R ticket for my 15 year old and her two friends to watch Kidnap that I didnt have to go in with them. I was corrected by the manager, bought a ticket, and asked if I could let them go ahead of me to go outside and tell my husband that he needed to park and we needed to watch the movie with them. The manager said no, I would have to escort the girls to the movie. When I got to the movie door, a lady who worked there opened the door for us. I told her that I needed to go to the lobby and give my husband the debit card to buy his ticket, use the restroom, and Id be right back. She said okay and was very nice. When I turned around the security guard was walking up and said I couldnt leave the girls in the movie and theyd have to come with me. I told him they already missed the beginning and explained what I was trying to do. He said no and walked in the theatre. I followed him inside. I asked him nicely if he would mind going to the lobby and letting my husband know where I was and that I have the debit card for his ticket. He said no that was my problem and I would have to take my kids with me. I said no, I would stay and took my seat. I guess he didnt like that I didnt go sit beside the girls so he went to get them to tell them they had to go with me. The girls didnt move so I got up and went to the top of the theatre where they were and asked him, why are you harassing my children? He said Im not harassing them, Im harassing you. He then said Ill lock you up. I responded and said no, you wont. He said oh yes, I will. To deescalate the situation, I turned around and found a seat and sat down. Still, he didnt leave and kept telling the girls they had to leave with me. Finally, my husband and the manager walked in. The manager asked us to step outside. We all walked out and the security guard lied saying he didnt say those things to me. It is still beyond me why security tried to get my girls to leave when I was there or why management would pull me out of the movie if I followed the instructions to buy a ticket, watch it with them, and not leave the theatre. Worst and most embarrassing situation. Felt like a complete criminal over a completely uncalled for situation.

Great film. Enjoyed every bit. While watching it, some idea came to me. I thought: science is not on the opposite side of faith and vice versa. Science is a great tool, however, for discerning human religions which are all based on mere speculations by man, including evolutionism, Buddhism, Hinduism etc. Its a brainwash to equal creationism to a religion and evolutionism to science. If one really looks into the evidence really scientifically, its not hard at all to conclude that evolutionism is a lot more religious than creationism, and that creationism is a lot more scientific than evolutionism. The concepts of science/religion are orthogonal to the concepts of creationism/evolutionism.

ts a movie theater, not much else you can say about this place. Though, it could use a lot of maintenance. Some of the viewing rooms are starting to smell like piss and its not pleasant and comfortable sitting for almost 3 hours trying to enjoy a movie and smelling piss. Management needs to make an executive decision and shut down the place for a couple days, steam clean the carpets, mop the areas around the seats, and maybe even steam clean the seats. Regal needs to bring back the glory of that place like when it first opened 12-13 years ago.

Second week in the box office, I came to watch Captain America Civil War for the 11:15 pm show. This time was listed on their website and when we got to the door they were all locked. An employee approaches the door and said that film has been cancelled. Ten other people stood outside the doors wanting to watch the same film based on the time listed on their website, but no one was given notice it was cancelled or why. I found it to be very inconsiderate of them without reason especially for a highly rated film like Captain America.
