We had a good time celebrating Fathers Day by attending a Breakout game! We did the kidnapping room. It was quite challenging for two adults and two children ages 13 and 17. We didnt break all the codes! But we were challenged for the whole hour and did have a good time. $25 per person is essentially what it boiled down to in cost. Which seems a little high for what you get. For $40 you can go to Adventureland all day... we did it as a treat for my kids father. If it were a little less expensive we would probably do it more often, but I realize they have to pay the bills too. We went at 10 in the morning and didnt see anyone else except the person that was our guide. I was grateful that our family could do it without anyone else in the room :-)

it was a great experience in the room. However, the employee didnt really explain the game very well. She told us there wouldnt be anything in the floors or walls, or anything you had to build. The first clue was a broken floor board. So it really didnt make much sense. Then once we got in the room it took us 25 minutes to get the 2nd clue figured out because she didnt explain like the premise of the game. She was extremely friendly, i think it was just a lack of training and experience. The ESCAPE CHAMBERS downtown is trained extremely well, if they get more experience i will be back to breakout games.

Weve gone to many different escape room companies both in Des Moines and in other cities and the room we did at Breakout was just as good if not better than all of them. Very neat/unique mechanics. Quality props. Well made story. Good price. Well be back for sure to complete the rest of your rooms.

Weve completed 3 out of the 4 rooms at Breakout Games. We LOVE them. The puzzles and clues are fun to figure out and challenging, but the staff is great and always there to help. Cant wait to try the last room. The only complaint is that once I finish it, then what do I do?? :)

We had a great time & our Game Master was excellent - good clues when we needed help but not too much. I wish I could remember his name. Was a challenge for 3 adults & a teen who all thought we were pretty smart. We will do it again.

We had a great time at Breakout games playing the museum heist! We even had a baby and they were accommodating. They are willing to offer clues if you need help which we sure did :). Thanks for the great time, we will be back.

The Museum Heist was a blast. The employee however was underwhelming. I feel like it would of been nice for her to come in with a little excitement that we solved the crime.
