Recently went to see a PG-13 movie on a Sunday night. A group of about 10 kids came in and were very disruptive - running up and down the stairs, in and out of the theater, and making lots of noise and walking up and down the aisle. I finally said something and they settled down a bit, after one of the kids started to give me lip, someone else told him to stop. The oldest kid was probably 12 or 13. When we left, I told the manager the situation and she said next time to come and tell them, which is an acceptable response. When I got home, it occurred to me that the movie was PG-13 and most of the kids shouldnt have been there without adult supervision anyway. If an adult had been present, I would like to think the kids would have been better behaved. I wanted to call and bring this to the attention of the manager so that perhaps she could ensure that tickets are being sold to PG-13 movies only with an adult attending. THE REASON IM GIVING THIS THEATER ONE STAR, is that I CANT CALL THE THEATER! Every number I find is the Regal 1-844 number, and there is NO option to be transferred to the actual theater. All I could get were the movie listings. WTH? I cant believe there is no posted number for the theater. So, there is literally no way to call and talk with the manager. So, Regal powers-that-be, you leave me no other choice than to leave this review. If you want me to change my star rating, then post a LOCAL, DIRECT to the theater phone number. Badly managed theater on a number of levels. Oh, and BTW, if I had been the manager, I would have offered tickets to another show for the disruption.

Poorly ran theater on Saturday, 5 March 2011. Weve been enthusiastic customers of Regal Cinemas Manassas Stadium 14 for about 7 years since were big fans of stadium seating. Last night we purchased 5 tickets in advance for the 7:00pm show of Rango, and arrived at least 15 minutes before the start of the movie. Two things occurred that have caused us to AVOID this theater until evidence is shown that the issues have been resolved: (1) theater allows customers to hold seats for others that havent arrived yet at will; we were attempting to get reasonably close seats for 5, and ran into several cases where customers were holding seats for 4-6 others; complained to a member of the theater staff and security where they came/they looked/did or said nothing to the "hoarders" (yes, I said it! shame, shame, and more shame if this applies to you!!!). (2) the theater oversold seats by at least 8 as we had about 8 people sitting on the stairs near our seats with no where else to sit (how is this possible? expect this from the airlines, but not theaters!); security forced the customers to vacate the stairs toward the end of the movie with a promise of a full refund. A "well" ran theater has the know-how (i.e., um, they have movie opening dates in advance) to plan ahead, perhaps schedule additional staff as needed, and patrol each theater before the start of a movie to avoid such chaos.

Last weekend, I took my family to see Monsters Vs. Aliens and was disappointed when I came across the no firearms signs on this theaters doors. As a law-abiding citizen and an inactive U.S. Marine with a concealed handgun permit, I have had a thorough background check and have had excellent firearms training. I am trusted by the Commonwealth of Virginia to carry a handgun almost anywhere I go including the state capital. Yet, Regal has abandoned logic and chooses to fear the law-abiding citizen. As I’m sure everyone is aware, theaters are not crime-free zones. Crime happens in and around theaters all the time. While I, a decent, law-abiding citizen, wont carry a gun beyond such a sign, a violent criminal will blissfully ignore this sign on his way in. All they have done is inform criminals that every patron coming out of the theater is unarmed making an ideal target. It is certainly within their rights to prohibit firearms on the property, as it is within my rights to spend my money elsewhere. Fortunately, many other theaters in Virginia understand that law-abiding citizens are not a threat to their establishments and I will take my family and my money elsewhere until such time that Regal changes their policy.

I was very disappointed to purchase tickets here for the Everest IMAX 3D movie. The show times was listed as 7:20. We arrived about 15 minutes early hoping to get good seats. The theater itself was very nice. But the barrage of commercials was completely unacceptable. From 7:05 to 7:40 we were bombarded with the worst B rate commercials - one collision repair ad was shown 3 times. They did not even start showing movie previews until 7:45. The feature presentation started at 8 pm - a full 40 minutes after the stated time, and almost a full hour from when we arrived. I wouldnt mind so much if we had cheap tickets, but at $22.25 a ticket, I dont think I should be the victim of total commercialization. We are definitely never returning to that theater!

Regal Cinemas has an app where you earn credits as you visit the theather. The app states 15,000 credits will give you free ticket. I went with my family and the person as at box office asked for my regal account. I have her my phone and she scanned my card. She told me I had enough credits to get a free ticket so I asked her get me the free ticket. Come to find out she charged me 17,000 credits. When I inquired she told me that if I asked for the free ticket at the box office it was 17,000 credits to encourage people to use the app. Nowhere on the app or the box office this is stated. Encouraging app use by stealing 2,000 credits of people. Way to do business.

This is a pretty decent theater food is good and the staff is friendly and helpful. The few reasons this doesnt get a 5 star is cause the movies times for Non 3D and Non Imax movies are not in line with other cinemas around the area why does the first showing of Non 3d Ghost in the shell At 3:35 pm when the 3d version is much much earlier. Also it seems if i want to see a movie early in the morning around 11 or 12 noon i have to go on a weekend to get that time or to a different cinema that is about the same travel time as this one. Overall its a good cinema if you can work around the movie times.

I completed the online form for a manager to contact me about a birthday party I wanted to schedule... It also said I could call the theater. The following day I called the theater and spoke to the manager who told me I needed to complete the online form. I told him that I already did and no one had contacted me yet. He said to hang on. I was on hold for literally 21 minutes when I finally hung up. It was 1:30 on a Tuesday afternoon so its not like they were overwhelmed by so many patrons that they didnt have time for my call. This place is ridiculous!!! Poor management.
