Took my son and his friend to see RIPD on a Saturday night. Sitting in the top row with us is a teenage couple who proceed to lay down in the seats and well, use your imagination for the rest. Trust me... you wont be far off. I proceed to complain to management about the sexual language and acts and the management proceeds to look up to the top row from the BOTTOM of the theatre and tells me "they are sitting up now". An older couple proceeds to sit down beside this couple. DOES NOT PHASE THEM ONE BIT and they continue throughout the movie their inappropriate behavior. When management is comfronted again with the inappropriate behavior of these teenage kids I am given free movie passes to make the incident all better. This is suppose to be a family oriented business. The management is a joke in handling uncomfortable situations. Several patrons on the row below us keep looking back at this couple and their behavior and yet all management can do is stay at the BOTTOM of the theatre to gauge what is going on at the top?! Movie passes do not compensate for the fact that a great deal of money was paid for the movie as well as refreshments and my family is subject to this type of behavior and language. Not a happy Mother.

I dont remember having to plan ahead of time in order to go to the movies with more than one person. Since when do movie theaters assign seats, and then expect people to actually follow those assignments? When have we transitioned to from the "good ol days" where you show up early, get good seats, to movie theaters that I pay to get told where to sit. Didnt realize I was going to catch a flick in Pyongyang. So I guess when my friends and I make the (obviously terrible) decision to go this movie theater, show up, and pay, we are expected to sit across the theater from one another, jammed in between random people? God forbid I do not plan days ahead of time to attend this atrocious theater. Probabaly a good idea to go on a date here too... " guess Ill see ya after babe?" Avoid at all costs, save your money, and go to a God fairing American establishment that still believes in upholding the American value, known as freedom...or dont, but if you do choose to attend this communist establishment, ensure you logistically plan days ahead. Wouldnt want to miss any of the wickets on this theaters attendee requirements checklist.

Positives: IMAX here is GREAT, and even standard theaters are huge. Negatives: This theater is for the rich blooded. It has the highest movie prices within a 100 mile radius. Its food and drinks are so overpriced, youll realized afterward that, for the price of popcorn, you could have ate a 12oz T-Bone with a 4 course meal. There hot dogs are worse, you get HALF a hotdog, for the price of one of those mobile-hotdog cooking units at fairs. I was charged $1 for Ketchup... DAFUQ Now one big thing for me at a theater is its Arcade. You got the Key-scam machine which primarily is stocked with duck-dynasty trash, a photobooth that doesnt work and will steal your $5 EVERY TIME, One of those scam-turntable games that have no instructions and your prize is an animal rubberband... Or a duckdynasty rubberband...Shaped like a duck... And Terminator. Terminator is great! If it worked, it never works... -_- Oh but it does have that kewl Avalanche gumball machine, thats cool. Bathrooms: Clean and awesome. Ive cried twice while taking an after-movie piss. Good times.

The walls are poorly insulated for sound. Poor arrangement of movies, loud adjacent to quiet. Prices are unreasonable. Movie start times are incorrect. A 1215 movie started at 1245; at 1215 the advertisements stopped and trailers began. No seat should be so near the screen as are those at this facility. This experience gave me a greater appreciation for Netflix and Amazon prime. 15 July 2017, 1307: see attached pictures, currently the temperature is 103 (real feel) and no shade in sight. One window open to attend to the hot sweaty patrons. Simply a sad situation. Sure, I could have purchased tickets online and next time I may, I may just not avoid it all together. Update. An elderly woman, waited as long as I had, is now sitting separate from her family due to the ridiculous pick your seat. Has regal cinema adopted uniteds customer service policy? Not a family friendly environment. Not a human friendly environment.

Overpriced unless its 3-D or IMAX. Ive been going here since it opened. It is the best place to see a movie in Wilmington, BUT not in relation to cost. There are only 2 movie theaters in Wilmington(which is another topic) so they know they have you over a barrel. The Carmike across town is cheaper and is more than adequate for a non IMAX or even some 3-D movies. Paying an extra $2.50 a ticket for adults isnt worth it in most cases. And thats before the comically overpriced concessions. $4.00 box of skittles?? The newness has worn off and they need more than the location to justify the higher prices.

This theater offers nice seating, and plenty of movie choices, however; you pay dearly for them. Its now over $8 for a matinee ticket. Parking is at times, a pain, unless you want a spot next the the worst smelling dumpsters in Wilmington. In its day, it was modern and nice, but they need to catch-up on what movie-goers really appreciate...a good deal. It was over $40 for two, with popcorn and drinks! The Carmike Theater, across town, behind Sonic, offers much lower matinee prices, on its shows between 4 & 6pm, daily. Easy ticket and consession sales all in one, Free refills!

Theater is nice. 3D theater seating is a little far back but OK. Bathrooms were clean. My lack of 5 stars are for customer service. Kids combo - drink, popcorn, fruit snack is $6.50. I accidentally ordered the wrong drink for my kid so rushed back and explained and asked for just a kids cup of water instead. They "had to" charge me $4 if I got a real cup... I understand having a policy but a little leeway goes a long way for customer service, especially with the manager standing right there overhearing it all. It was a cup of water...

If youre ever questioning if you have enough money to go here, you dont. Bring more money because everything is expensive. Dont ever ever ever buy an Imax ticket unless you want to go deaf. Im a musician and play with a loud drummer and my ears were bleeding in the I Max theatre. Its God awlful dont do it. I took a girl on a date here, it was nice highly recommend it. Lots and lots and lots of teenagers, always. Its good if youre a kid too. The theatre its self was clean. No popcorn on the ground, things like that. Very enjoyable.

They have changed everything here recently, and not for the best. They have recliners now, but there are less of them with assigned seating. A free movie pass will no longer get you a free ticket, only a discount due to the premium seating. The audio system is amazingly clear and immersive, but way too loud. My ears were hurting by the second preview, and I am not super sensitive to loud movies usually. Looks like I will be going to Stone from now on.

I love the stadium seating but if I may say the smell is horrible in the theatre because of the seats, I dont think these seats have been cleaned since the theatre has been open. It really reeps of odor. I had a terrible experience due to this. I couldnt enjoy the movie due to being distracted by the odor. And not my Idea of fun. Please clean or maybe think about changing the seating out. This could be a great theatre with some minor changes.
