A year ago I said Id never return to this AMC and this past weekend I was reminded why. My mom and sister wanted to see a particular movie and the AMC Woodridge was one of the few theatres still showing it, so I agreed to go. As usual for this place, there is a ridiculous, not to mention chaotic, line for buying tickets. Glad I dont pay to be a Premiere Stubs because the ticket counter workers just ignored people standing in the "premiere" line. I overheard a couple of the premiere people complain to an employee; the employee seemed dumbfounded and was unable to offer any assistance. After waiting in the ridiculous line to purchase tickets, we got in the equally ridiculous line to buy concessions. Finally got my tubopopcorn and headed to the butter-flavored-topping station only to find that one BFT dispenser was empty and the other hardly worked. Come on people, its Saturday afternoon and youre not prepared for movie-goers? Totally unacceptable. I get to a seat (after scooting past the random half-rows of seats on the ground level) and find that my tubopopcorn is full of tiny popcorn asses. In this day and age, this type of theatre experience is really substandard. I dont run into these issues at the theatres I frequent.

This place needs both new management and a renovation, I went to see Logan the other day and ill admit its been awhile since I have been to this theater. From the outside if there werent any cars in the lot you would think it closed years ago as most of the lights in the lettering are out and the building just looks like it has been neglected. Once you get inside the whole place is filthy especially the restrooms and the theaters. As for my movie experience the first 40 minutes of the film werent very good because whoever was up in the projector room had left the lights on so half the screen was a rectangle that blurred out the film. About 5 minutes into the film I figured they forgot and went on to start up another movie so I left and let someone know, it took about 35 minutes for someone to finally get up there and hit the light switch. I get that theaters dont bring in the kind of money they used to but if youre too cheap to hire staff to keep the place clean and maintain the building inside and out yet still charge over $10.00 a ticket then youre basically running yourselves out of business.

This place will probably be more fondly remembered for where it was 10-20 years ago as it actually packed a big crowd back then. With that being said, this has been my go-to movie theater for the last 10 years due to its location and the fact that its almost always empty. Ive gone to Friday/Saturday opening weekend shows and the theater is half-full. Any other time youre in a pretty empty theater (you can show up after the previews and still get good seats every time). Staff has always been friendly, food is your standard movie goodies, and the keep the place clean. My only complaint is the price of movies compared to some other theaters as a standard film is $10 and 3D is $15. This is more of a problem with most movie theaters in general, but expect to spend about $30 for a date night here.

Recently went to see the new Hunger Games movie with my daughter. We had a good time. Staff was friendly and kept the lines moving in the concession stand so you were able to get to your show with time to spare. Food was decent, would like to see the prices go down a bit but it is comparable to other theaters. Seats are comfortable enough. Like their Stubbs program. You can view what movies you have seen and keep your stubs that way. I like the rewards/upgrade program. Spend $100 get a $10 reward and free upgrades on your drink or popcorn which is a definite bonus.

Absolutely disgusted! I feel 1 star is even too generous with condition of the theater and the way I was treated. Its falling apart at the seams, the majority of seats were broken and the theater was trashed. Employees at tickets and food were very courteous, but when I requested to speak to the manager about a ticket exchange, I was met with a very sweaty man who didnt give a rats behind about I was saying! Not at all friendly and very standoffish. Was not very willing to work with me. Extremely disappointed and will not be returning!

This theater is tucked away, so when we have gone for matinee showings the theater is not very crowded and your seating choice is abundant. I will say the ticket purchasing can take longer than it should at times. I feel it would be better if you could purchase your tickets at a kiosk instead. The concession stand also has a good variety, but again depending on the amount of staff, you may be waiting longer than usual. They have stadium seating and the screens are good, so most of my gripe is for everything prior to seating.

Decided to try out this theater... never again. Stood in line at concessions as the two workers chatted with a customer for 3 mins that had no idea what she wanted. Then I step to the side to look at the other menu.. to my surprise one of the other workers saw a friends (group of 8 ppl) coming in and rush over to help them. Ive worked in customer service before and that the quickest way to piss off a customer. Talked to the manager but she didnt really care. Never again will I patronize this place.

Absolutley disgusting theater. Service was horrible. Bathrooms are filthy. Theater seats are very uncomfortable, and unclean. Workers are always using their phones. Workers are also very disrespectful. Guest services were uncooperative and refused to help me when I tried to explain to them that someone stole my wallet in the theater. Horrible place for a theater, got my wallet stolen and the prices are outrageous. Food was cold and over priced. Never coming here again. You shouldnt either!

Everything in this theater was filthy !!! The bathroom especially . Id rather use a portapotty. .. smelt awful and there was water and paper towels everywhere. Worst part is both times I had to go in there . I witnessed 4 or more employees eating and playing o n their phones in a group. I wont be coming back to this awful smelly dirty place . And i hope for managements sake they find some decent employees.

Its a great theater with very comfortable seating. The snack bar has an excellent variety of things to nibble on and drink. The staff is always helpful and courteous. My only criticism is that there are never enough staff at the snack bar to handle the lines of customers. My spouse and I always have to "tag team" our visits: I grab good seats while he waits in line and waits and waits and waits......

Yes the Theater is a little dated and the North Entrances are now closed but it is a clean comfortable inexpensive Big Screen place that is out of the way and never crowded!! Been here 100 times never had to get here more than 5 minutes before showtime to get great seats!! Standard Show food, Clean Bathrooms and good staff ..I dont know what the other reviewers are talking about.
