I was hoping when AMC bought this place that theyd knock it down and re-build it. That didnt happen, all AMC did was put their sign out front. Its still the same awful theater it was before. Its the most expensive theater around, but by far the least kept. Outside wall facing Menards has what appears to be black mold or built up dirt on the unwashed walls. Many seats are broken and rather than being fixed or replaced they just have garbage bags over them. No stadium seating. Movies arent shown in high definition. The audio is always a dumpster fire because it tends to either cut out repeatedly, or be de-synced from the visual on the screen. Concession stand is more expensive than other theaters. This theater was excellent when it was built in the mid 90s, but it was never kept up or updated ever. The prices were raised as years went by, but no improvements were made to the facilities. Joliet, Yorkville, and Naperville are all much better options. Im still hoping AMC eventually does something about the problems here because Id love to have a nice theater in town.

This place is overpriced, trashy without the new theatre seating, pretty much just needs total remodel plus lower its prices. Take a ride 30 minutes north to Yorkville NCG extreme theatre now this is what a movie theatre should be like for $10 a person.

Public service announcement: a family of 5 cost 60 bucks! Movies are expensive. Overall the place is decent, could use a little upgrade. Staff was really helpful and nice. No complaints, minus should of really thought about the amount of children I had.

Great little show. Expensive concessions to cover overhead but oh well. Go on Tuesdays. Staff very courteous and friendly. Support your local theater or we will have to drive miles to one. Seats? Complainers: you are not in downtown Chicago!

This theatre is horrible. I paid 9.50 per ticket (more than anywhere nearby) and the screen went out for 5 minutes in the middle of the movie. The floors are filthy, the service is horrible, and the staff is rude. If I could give it zero stars I would.

This place was terrible. The seats where very uncomfortable. The inside is very run down. This place needs alot of work. The lady that is the manager has the worst attitude and does dont care about her customers. Avoid this place!!!!

There is a certain level of quality you expect when going to an AMC theater. This theater wasnt even close. Sets too small. Concessions to expensive. They dont even update the sign outside with showtimes. Avoid if possible.

Movie tickets are well priced, they even have discounted rates if you come at certain times! Popcorn bucket deal is phenomenal. I wish the seats were recliners, but hey.

It needs a make-over in order to stay relevant in the age of watch-from-home movie viewing. It hasnt changed since the mid 90s. Bring your own snacks. Way overpriced.

Went with friend who passed out before show, they took excellent care of us,gave us free passes both for show and food. Very helpful staff and very polite.

Seats are so impossibly uncomfortable. The staff was nice, but the theater is outdated. I would not come back simply because the seats are unbearable.

Its a theater.... seats are kind of uncomfortable, and concession stand is super high priced. 20+ dollars for a large popcorn and 2 sodas.....no thank you

Worst AMC Ive ever seen. Not sure what the deal is with is place but they are in serious need of updates. Not worth the price I paid for the tickets.

I love coming here on Tuesdays. Tickets are only 5 dollars. The seats are uncomfortable, which should be replaced. The service is amazing too.
