I pass up two other theaters and travel an extra 8 miles to go to the Wilder theater, and have for a long time but not any more; something has changed in the last several months and Ive observed it over three different visits. The service has gotten pretty bad and the employees seem to have become very unhappy, at least thats the feeling they project. They have displayed disrespect when trying to buy tickets or concessions and general disinterest when trying to interact about a movie. When an employee at the podium was asked if the movie we were about to see was a good one, the employee responded "I dont watch movies" without so much as looking up from his phone, let alone making eye contact. When asked if there had been any comments on it, the employee was once again equally calous. When trying to order extra butter on my overpriced popcorn, an employee said they are only allowed to put so much as he handed me the bag without honoring my request. Its really upsetting because it was once a great theater that my family and I enjoyed visiting. We will save our time and gas and just visit the Florence locations again.

Been going to the Wilder theater for years. Always enjoyable until my last trip. I took my niece and nephews and their dad to a 330 showing of a kids movie a couple of weeks ago. The ticket seller was vehement about assigned seating. He seemed really stressed out about it. It really wasnt even crowded. We went in the movie and of course, no one was in their assigned seats. I asked a gentlemen who was in our seats if we could have them and he threw a small hissy fit. Really ridiculous situation caused by the assigned seating and the patrons failure to use their seats....which they picked at the ticket count btw. Bottom line: Either figure out a way to enforce the assigned seating, or get rid of it all together. I understand why they are trying to implement it, but it is not working.

Im giving this 3 stars because ive been here before and it was fine. the previous time ive been though, i walked up and bought my ticket. i showed my student ID which i USUALLY DONT HAVE TO DO. The worker working was named Hannah, and i had noticed they didnt give my friends a discount. so i took out my ID and asked politely, "May I get a student ticket for this movie?" and she still gave me the matinee. im not very happy, due to the fact that im trying to save money as a hardworking student. yes, its only 50¢, but thats probably going to be the 50¢ that saves me from poverty.

You cant use your fandango card at the front desk. You have to use it online. That is my only complaint. My son and I saw "Minions" just momentarily, and we enjoyed it very much. Not just because of the quality of the movie, but the theater is just so clean. Even my 12 year old son, said it was one of the cleaner movie theaters, if not the cleanest hed ever been too. And its also smaller, so its easier to find your designated screen. They show good movies and keep the place clean, so overall, great experience from regal cinemas. Ill definitely be coming back very soon.

Had the worst experience ever! Went to have a quiet time and watch a movie and a family of 15 annoying people wouldnt stop talking as soon as they stepped foot into the theater... They thought they could sit where ever they want and talk the whole time while others tried to watch previews aince some people go to watch that..the staff acted like could care less as long as they got their money... Overall not worth it cause there was literally a fight and wasnt going to fight people that look like the stuff in the dumpster

Their website was down all day. Ended up buying tickets for Guardians on Fandango. Paid $51 for 4 recliners that were so close to the screen you couldnt even see everything happening. Who puts seats THAT close to the screen these days?! The theater is old and not well kept. No alcohol. The video quality is pretty poor. No VIP. Nothing that can explain their high ticket costs. Never going back. Sticking to Rave! I gave it a 2 because I could hear the jokes in the movie.

The redesigned seats have been a great addition, All of the theaters now have reclining seats and plenty of room. My advice it to purchase a ticket in advance as you can pick your seat, gone are the days of having to arrive hours early to ensure you get a great seat not in the very front. Also if you do end up in the front thanks to the reclining seats it is much more enjoyable and does not cause discomfort that is typical with being in the front row for a movie.

Never will I ever go back to this theater. I have a had a horrible traumatizing experience while trying to see the movie it. They said that we had to be sitting in the same row as are parent and couldn’t be sitting one row below are parent. But there was no possible way we could be sitting in the same row as our parent because we bought our tickets online and the only seats available were split up!!!!! The staff was very rude and ridiculous.

Tried this movie theater out instead of the AMC at Newport On The Levee. Ticket prices are comparable and I was fine with that, especially with not having to pay for parking, until I walked into the theater. I was thoroughly surprised to find they have RECLINERS. Most comfortable movie going experience I have had. Definitely recommend. They do have reserved seating so if you have a large group I would get there early.

Love this place ever since they upgraded the seats!!! Very comfy in fact I started to fall asleep during a movie once. Hahaha the only thing Im not to keen on is where the buttons are to recline the seat. I tend to shift a lot during the movie and my knee always hits them. Staff has always been pleasant, mature and attentive. We dont go anywhere else but Wilder Regal!!!

Love this theater. I am a frequent movie goer with my girlfriend. Their rewards program is pretty decent we can usually get a free ticket every 4 movies we see or get some discounted pop corn and soda. They recently did away with traditional self seating and now have large recliners and priority seating charts so you can pick your seat ahead of time.

When Regal took over the theater some time ago I lost a whole lot of points and they would not honor them. There was an elderly gentleman which was one of your greaters...MR. York and he was abused by the manager. MR. York was a really nice man and a plus for the theater, he is dead now so you all can not make it right. Darrell Meader Chaplain
