Um, not what I was expecting. We took two toddlers and a 7 year old after we hit up the Serpentarium next door thinking this was along the lines of Ripleys just to leave 3 minutes later with all the kids in tears AFTER we had paid for all of us...which luckily wasnt much but still a waste. It really should be named Museum of Horror since most of the displays involve horror films and scary myths. Think less Ripleys Believe It or Not and more Jason, Freddy, and Hellraiser. Cool for some adults, but much too scary for small children. Would have been nice if the lady at the ticket counter had provided some warning BEFORE we paid. -_-

Three stars for the content, an extra star for the staff. This place is full of eccentric curiosities with an ominous atmosphere. Here you will find everything from possessed dolls to shrunken heads, from Harry Houdinis ouija board to Alister Crowleys doorbell, from Christmas cards signed by Charles Manson, to an actual stuffed mermaid. Their slogan, "Of course its real!" hints at their tongue-in-cheek tone, but they encourage visitors to take it as seriously as they dare. Will you pass the shrunken heads that require an offering of a coin without dropping one in the box? Are you THAT sure that the curse isnt real?

Goodness. Gracious. You have GOT to go to the Museum of the Bizarre! Before you read any further, you should know, IT IS ALL REAL. And hilarious. Some of the more notable items on display are... The Necronomicaon! The only plaster cast of Linda Blair as Regan from the movie The Exorcist! "Old knife!" Baby dragon bones! "Sword!" Hand of glory! Presidential memorabilia! And far more than I will list (dont want to spoil the surprise). The staff was super friendly, and the adults got ice pops! :) Pound for pound, the best $3 Ive ever spent.

I wasnt expecting much. Admission is $3.00 and from the outside, it doesnt look like it is very big. Once you go in, the cashier says that it usually takes about 20 minutes to see it all. Well...about 10 minutes would have been enough. It was tacky and not really...bizarre. A lot of the stuff inside seemed to be from someones attic. And it smelled like armpits. So yeah; 10 minutes would have been enough.

Loved this place! Only thing that needs improvement is the display of the items and their descriptions. Everything is cluttered together and the details of the items are hard to read. Cant wait to see what new items they have next year. OH, AND FREE POPCICLES!!

You can not best an adventure like this for the price. (3 dollars a person and our baby was free!) The woman working there was fun to talk to and informative. A great collection of bizarre, strange, and unique oddities. It is defiantly worth the price!

Perfect cheap day date if you both have a good sense of humor. Its small and cheesy but definitely entertaining enough for the super low entry fee. I am hoping they start up movie events there again. It seems like a perfect place to watch B movies.

A funny place. You certainly will get a laugh. At $3 to get in its ok priced. Dont think for a moment that its not a bunch of plastic displays so if your not into goofy displays, save your three dollars.

Funny and interesting place to spend half an hour. Entrance price is reasonable, and staff is very friendly. Though their website uses the description "science museum," dont expect actual science.

Its low cost but the smell inside was horrible. My son and I started getting migraines and left after 5 minutes. My 6 year old was scared of some of the exhibits. Maybe not for younger children.

Definitely a bizarre little place, but I had tons of fun. If strange and sometimes grotesque things fascinate you , then be sure to check out this little museum.

The museum was very different. It has some interesting items. If it wasnt only $3, I may have been a little upset. But it was something to experience.

Anytime you can take the whole family for under $20 is a win in my book. Its kitschy, somewhat gory, and a whole lot of fun!
