My experience has been so-so, but I like it only because its less the 5 minutes from home. Once we bought burgers and fries, and I cant even begin to describe how horrible it tasted, and waited so long for it to be fixed in the back, my movie had long started. Another visit, this last week, my movie was 93% full so the manager put us in to see another showing at 30 minutes later. As we arrived, the ticket taker sent us to the theatre room for a showing 30 minutes prior. She changed the time in the system, but Our tickets had not changed showings. So back and forth more than once to the ticket booth was not very pleasing. While standing and waiting on management to correct her mistake, staff were so busy running around serving customers, while walking on at least two large container amounts of popcorn spilled on the floor behind the counter. It doesnt take much effort to sweep popcorn off to the side. , which was also like this in the area where customers add additional butter etc, on many occasions.... till I spoke to staff and asked them to please clean it up. Customers shouldnt be put in a position to ask staff to clean up common general area where our food is served. Thats very unsanitary. Seems your owners should read this and actually do some additional, hiring of quality staff. Vs sacrifice customer experience to save a few bucks. Im going to a movie today with my sons again , And wont be reflecting on my past experiences here. This is because, I know good customer service, because Ive provided it in my past career., but I also recognize an over-worked, under-staff due to selfish, greedy management and owners whod rather compromise an excellent customer experience, to save money. You, the owners and management team as well, ought to be darn ashamed of unethical work protocol. Or at least train your staff to perform better under pressure during peak busy times. Customers should be able to recognize these weak administrative points. . . . Just horribly run business, but a truly Great staff tho.

If you want LICE go here. If you want super LICE go here. This place is disgusting and filthy. Their excuse is they have only had the building for five years. When the seats have been there for god knows how long they wont tell me when the building was built. While in line to buy my tickets. Theres a line out the door all to see Guardians 2. Ticket man says folks were sorry our projectors down and that timeslots no longer available. Meanwhile some of these folks have drove very far. They are all heated. And the only thing the ticket man can say is we dont control the times thats Regal Cinemas. Excuses after excuses. If Regal Cinemas put money into this place it would be actually a nice movie theater. You know when you go to Cobb theater you can have dinner and theres a bar inside also AMC has bars. This Regal Cinemas is so outdated its a joke but unfortunately its the only one in the area so people still keep going. People we need to stand up! Write the CEO! Contact the company! This is unacceptable for the rates we pay. I have PHOTOS of gum on the seats! Other peoples HAIR attach to the seats! Dont get me started on how covered the floors are in butter. Oh wait I got one more! You know when they give you your ticket, the ticket man rips it in half. One side says customer copy so we get to keep it no thats a misprint customer copy belongs to the theater and theater copy belongs to you. Its the little things that add up! Thank you for your time and reading this. Let me know if you all find a cleaner and nicer one around Ill start going to that one. IF YOU ARE GOING TO THIS REGAL CINEMAS IN MCDONOUGH PLEASE BRING TWO EXTRA HOODIES PER PRRSON. One so your lady dont sit in gum and two so your family dont caught LICE! Regal Im heated and just getting started! Going to be posting all over on line! SMILES

This theatre is absolutely turned to rubbish. I used to come here all the time with my kids. A manager named Marcus Howard(unsure of last name I think it was Howard) was always quick to accomadate us. My son fell ill while we were watching a movie and he immediately offered us refunds on both our tickets and snack items. The next time he saw us he inquired about my sons health. I havent seen him in months I dont know its because hes not working with the company anymore or he was moved to a different location, but he was great. I believe there is a new manager running it I have seen him on the last three times I visited and he was nowhere near friendly nor did he appear to be to thrilled to be working. His name was either Sam or Seth something with an S. Horrible with names. I could be wrong about him running it I havent been back in awhile. Also they do not have enough employees working to serve costumers efficiently and the ones they do have are always too busy talking to assist you. There are two that have been really great to me and my kids. One was behind the ticket counter and the other behind the snack bar. I know the girl selling tickets was named Morgan and the girl selling snacks was Lauren. Morgan was very friendly and helped me get a new regal card without losing any of my points. Lauren was great with my kids and even offered to cover the rest of my snack cost when I couldnt get my debit card to work. Both are very professional, friendly girls. There is nothing wrong with the cleanliness though I wish they would upgrade their seating to a recliner like AMC has done. Ill continue to pop in every now and again when Im close by and to keep checking for Marcus but this theatre is average compared to others and as I said before costumer service for the most part has disappeared.

Technical problems abound. Power glitches interrupt your movie for 30 minutes or more. Movies dont start on time. House lights remain on for the entire movie. Screen side curtains sometimes fail to open. Sound system is front only in many theaters....speakers rattle in others. Tiny theaters at the ends of the hall. There are a few good employees but most are bored, slow moving, and focused only on getting to the end of their shift backing up concession and ticket lines. Ushers are rude and grumpy: no smiles here. The manager, Samuel, has no sense of customer appreciation and no skill set to run a theater. Luckily for us, he hides in the office and is rarely seen. Concession prices are high for often stale popcorn. Popcorn buttering station is filthy and poorly supplied. All they want is your money. Once you buy your ticket, the rest of your movie night experience is likely to be seriously compromised. Regal Cinemas Corp. does not respond to e-mail so it is impossible to determine if they read them. Regal McDonough 16 has been going down hill all summer and nothing has been done to change this course.

Bought tickets online to bypass the ticket counter. This theater has one way in and out shared with other businesses. Dangerous if they had an emergency. The park lot was very crowded. After parking went inside noticed the all electronic ticket dispensers were out of order. Went to the person checking the ticket as instructed by the online instruction to have the online ticket scanned. He could not get that right, told go to the ticket counter with a long line the reason I purchased online. The movie volume was low that you could not hear what was said when people laughed. Trash containers was overflowing with trash entering and leaving the theater. This theater has bad management that Regal Cinemas Corporation need to look to correct. The ticket prices are too high. I live two miles from the theater but prefer to go to other theaters miles away. Please improve this theater, listen to the customers about this Mcdonough Regal Cinemas.
