We had fun doing this as a family activity for Christmas. I would have hoped for more cohesion between the clues, like a story line that would lead you from one clue to the next, but there wasnt. In fact there arent any real "clues" at all. Participants run around the three room apartment looking for random letters, numbers, colors, etc. and madly dash around trying those numbers, letters, and colors on every available padlock, it was a bit chaotic. I also need to note that we did this in January, it was probably 50 degrees outside. Half way through our attempt to escape the "apartment" scenario the room was easily 85 degrees. It had to be closing on 90 by the time we finally made it out. Two of the participants were violently ill from the heat, and the staff was unapologetic. Please make an effort; turn on the air, make the windows operable, or at least offer chilled water up front.

First time to an escape room! My sister and I booked the Apartment early to try and intimidate others from booking with us, but we ended up with a group of 3 joining us. HOWEVER, we had a blast with them! We werent familiar with the concept at all and if it wasnt for our new friends, we definitely wouldnt have gotten out lol. It did get a bit hot in the room but they have a fan in the room for comfort. Also, there were clues that we probably wouldnt have found if we didnt have a tall person in our group :/ But other than that, we will be back again!

The Apartment was amazingly detailed and was one of the most challenging Rooms Ive done, as it was so simple on the surface but had more depth then Id anticipated. If all of their Rooms are like The Apartment then Ill be going back for all of them. The location was easy to find, well lit, and had decent but not overwhelming foot traffic. There was three hour parking out front and one or two parking garage nearby within walking distance. Its also a fifteen minute drive from Mesa Riverview if the restaurants around it dont tickle your fancy.

Our group had a great time with the team building activity. Unfortunately none of us had ever done a "puzzle room" before and the employee that put us in our room told us that there would be clues on the TV for us. We expected some sort of introduction or story line and starred blankly at the TV for 5+ minutes before realizing there was no story line or lead in to the experience. From what Ive read elsewhere, the lead in or story is what differentiates the good puzzle rooms from the average.

Brought our staff here for a team builder. Had a good time and the staff was friendly. However, we were very disappointed to not receive the promised picture as it was important to our group to document the experience. They never apologized and eventually stopped responding once I told them our picture wasnt at any of the links they provided. I found that disappointing and it left a sour taste in my mouth for what would have otherwise been a good experience.

My daughter, not realizing we had plane tickets, booked a reservation for 5. The young woman at the front desk called us back within minutes of leaving a message & got our reservation moved. So Courteous & Nice! The family(minus me I work Friday nights) have been to Escape the room before & my daughter was inviting a friend from GCU,she was so excited about going back. Thanks staff you rock & I know they will have as much fun or more this time.

After trying our luck at Phoenix Escape Room my wife and I, and a few friends, decided to check out Escape the Room AZ. My friends booked The Rec Room. The room was decorated okay, but it was hard to get immersed in the game. I would have rated this room higher, but the staff was really rude to our group and the to the group that was waiting. Also it is more expensive than Phoenix Escape Room. We will not be coming back to Escape the Room AZ!

SO much fun, went here with a large group for a birthday. Enough of us to do two rooms-our room was almost at max capacity and could have done with a couple less people in there, but we did guys vs girls and we have more girls in our friends group! SO much fun, us girls made it out with several minutes to spare, the guys hit the time limit without escaping. Tons of fun, staff was really great and made it an awesome experience.

Lots of fun! Good for groups. The clues provided by staff are only somewhat accurate. Our guy had to correct himself 3 times. And if not himself, he had to correct issues with the room. I feel like those should be fixed. We did this as a work event and had an absolute blast! Definitely recommend it

They are a hot mess! They lost our group photo its been 3 weeks & no one has contacted me I have to keep calling. This is a big mistake, we can never recapture the moment & they dont care they ruined our experience! Im very dissatisfied with my experience!

What a fun place! We had a very large group and did the bank heist. Won by just two seconds! I would recommend a smaller group (6-8 people is good) because you definitely have to work together logically. Definitely need to think creatively.

The scenario I participated in was designed well, but not quite perfectly. Some steps could be bypassed unintentionally, and the end goal wasnt quite as well explained/definined as I would have liked. Still a very fun thing to do, though!

Had an amazing group with randoms and shared beers with then afterwards at Craft 64 to celebrate our escape from submarine 1! We were first group of the night to escape and apart of the 20% that make it out on the 1st try! Cheers!

LOTS of fun! 2 parents and three of our kids participated. Kids were initially thinking this was lame, but afterwards were begging to do a different one immediately. You wont be disappointed. We will return!

We were in Phoenix/Scottsdale from out of state visiting family and celebrating my Birthday and decided to do Escape The Room! It was AWESOME! The Western Bank Heist was a blast! The staff was friendly as well!

I was here for a birthday and we did the submarine challenge. The puzzles were of a large variety and very difficult in some cases. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable and I would certainly recommend it.

This is my first visit to any of these Escape rooms. I had a good experience with my nine other friends. The place is a little small and could use some more air conditioning, but other than that it was fine.

Wonderful time. Birthday party for our 15 year old twins. 8 teenagers plus 4 parents in the Bank. The clues were tough but with teamwork we got through them all and escaped the room! Cant wait to go back!

What a fun concept! It was a lot more intricate and difficult than I expected, but we still managed to Escape the Submarine!! Worth the money, and I definitely want to try some of the other rooms!

Out of the all the escape the rooms I have done, these rooms are well thought out and they made alot of the puzzle where you cant skip ahead. Very challenging and fun, Cant wait to go again!
