I normally do not feel the need to write a review for many places, good or bad, but with this place I can no longer refrain from urging those looking for a nice evening out to GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Ive been to the Brew and View many times over the course of its opening, and while Ive had a variety of experiences there, the most recent times have proven to me that it is very much on a downward spiral. The place was a hot mess when it first came around, which I forgave, expecting them to have hiccups while figuring things out. It seemed as though things were improving, the management and staff seemed very kind and helpful when things didnt go quite as expected, which seemed to be happening less and less. At least in my experience. You could tell they were trying. It was very exciting for my wife and I, as it was such a great idea for a night out away from the kids. Movies, dinner, beer!? Whats not to love? On weekends they even have music. The addition of the table buttons was such a great idea to improve service...or so you would think. They are really letting the place go. I have been there a few times in the past week or so and the place is DISGUSTING. My wife and I sat at the bar and ordered a drink before our movie and there were fruit flies EVERYWHERE. The counter was sticky and didnt look like it had been wiped down in awhile. The floor in our theater was also pretty rough, with spill spots and trash on the floor. Our server reeked like cigarettes, and she did not come back to check on us after she took our order, except to drop the bill. We did not receive refills, and we also had missing parts of our order. They have a new menu and the food was okay, nothing to write home about, and is still a bit pricey in my opinion. The price for sides is outrageous. We had our table light on for 20 minutes and nobody came, so my wife went out to find someone and our server was just hanging out in the hallway laughing with other coworkers as well as THE MANAGER! It was a girl with brown hair and she seemed dumbfounded when my wife inquired about our missing food. Is this really the new and improved management they keep bragging about? (They have a big sign out front promoting it) Shouldnt she be making sure people are being served and not just loitering with the staff? What a lazy bunch. Maybe they could be using all of that free time to clean something, perhaps the disgusting floors? Ive had issues in the past and they were dealt with much better than this. We werent even offered a discount of any kind. We received the same subpar service watching Wonder Woman this past weekend. The table lights dont help and you still wait forever. It takes equally as long to cash out at the end and more times than not you are waiting after the movie is over for your server to come back with your card. I was really rooting for this place. Such a cool concept. It saddens me to say, but go somewhere else. I know I will. It just isnt worth the hassle. Maybe they need new owners. Sigh.

I ordered a simple lemonade as the movie was starting. The rest of my group got their drinks, but still no lemonade. So we asked the guy that brought out their drinks and his response was "Theyre making it and itll be out soon". Then we got our food, and still no lemonade! So I asked the guy who brought out the food, same answer. Over an hour after I ordered, I managed to get our server, Sapphire, to finally come over. I told her that since it had been an hour, can I just cancel the lemonade and get a Coke. She did apologize and brought me both a Coke and a lemonade and told me that she wouldnt charge me for either one. When the bill came, she took my card and when she finally came back, she had charged me $61.38 when my bill should have been $23.49. When I flagged her down and told her that it was charged wrong, she disappeared again, the movie ended and she still had not returned. She never took one of the other people from my groups payment either. So we pushed both of our call buttons. A guy came over and I said I need my card back, then the server finally comes back to take care of the rest of my group, but she didnt have my card! When I asked, she said the other girl had it! They finally came back with my card and proper bill and assured me that nothing would go on my card. When I checked my credit card, the $61.38 charge was on there as well as the $23.49! I couldnt go back that night, but the next day, the manager on duty was not able to credit it, the other one would be in the next day and he could fix it. In the meantime, an additional $15 was added for "tip" to the $61.38 charge. The other manager said shes normally really good. If there was a problem with the lemonade, then someone, particularly the server, should have told me and asked if I wanted to get something else, not keep ignoring me and telling me it will be right out. When I had to call someone again and again, then the manager should have come over since the server couldnt be bothered. When I had to demand my card back, the manager should have come over and at least apologized for the treatment. As it was, I couldnt fully enjoy the movie because of the bad service, then after my card was charged wrong and they took so long bringing it back, I couldnt concentrate on the end of the movie. Then we were late where we went next because of all this. The whole experience really ruined my day and made me leery of ever going back to this theater. Im keeping a close eye on my card, as of yet the refund the manager was suppose to put through, still hasnt come through and its been several hours since he was supposed to put it through.

Enjoyed myself here. The seats are very comfortable the food that I had was tasty and plentiful, and despite my assumptions the help walking in and out of aisles wasnt as big of a distraction as I thought itd be.. Well see how bad the waiter silhouettes would be if every seat was filled though, or if youre not in the back row. Cons ---Pretty expensive for what you get sometimes, but for a movie theater, ends up being pretty familiar. You get plenty of wings, another person in my party got nachos for the same price, barely had any chips. ---Yes they will block your screen for a moment, but this is a pretty poor con, you should expect that if you come here. Pros ---The help are very nice and care about what theyre doing. We actually had some mishaps with food orders, but they cared about it so much, I didnt have a problem with it, even before they offered to void the charge of the late-coming food. ---The seats are very nice, nice space, unless you are a childs height and someone 65" sits in front of you, no one will block your screen with their head. --- The movie screen looks very nice, and the projection is on par with other cinemas. Very nice for an up-to-date theater in Eastgate finally; dollar savers dont have a place in the world anymore with the ease of digital purchase. ~~ I only give 4 stars because its not budget friendly, I might not come if I dont want to spend extra on food because then waiters are in my view for no benefit to me. Every now and again I would come, but its not a cheap night with the normal price ticket and then the price of food with a tip (which they do surely deserve if they keep up with their current quality).. but its a blow to the wallet.
