Upon walking into this establishment it seemed easy enough to get in, but I hate the fact that they only take cash for cover charges, but at least they have an ATM machine by the front door now. They dont do enough to inform the patrons of this before theyve stood in line for 10 minutes waiting for the entry process to be completed during popular nights and shows. The open mics they have dont allow every genre to participate and the musicians dont always welcome singers or new musicians on to the stage. Yeah. They serve good food. I found mine pretty overly salty last time though, but its usually good food. I hate that you cant sit at the tables without paying a stupid reservation charge and being obligated to buy food while you watch the show. Not much standing room on packed nights and its terribly annoying trying to stand by or make it to the bar. Lots of free expression on some nights, but it can be down right embarrassing for new comers with low support from patrons and musicians. The sound is hit or miss. I just think there could be more done. Parking can be really crappy because the venues located on a dead end street that really only fits about 14 cars legally and safely. Then, theres a big lot in the back of the building, but the price sucks and you can run a high risk of getting booted, which the venue should do more to prevent. Its a good place to go if youre looking for something new and the best musicians play on Wednesday nights. Most nights theres a cool dj mixing in the small backroom for people who just want to chill and dance, but I wish they would turn the club into a party club every once in a while and get rid of those ridiculous tables. Overall, Id recommend it, but just not to everybody.

The food here is delicious, and served in nice size portions. Food is also reasonably priced, the black bean hummus and jerk chicken wings were very good, and their house salsa was tasty as well. Not a lot of seating so get there when the doors open and scoop up a seat, there is a $10 minimum to sit at a table per person, so include that in your budget for the nite if you want to sit. They usually have house special drinks for $5, so order two of those and you are set. Very laid back atmosphere and some good entertainment and talent. Of course you get some crude language in there at times but many of the artist I heard were positive and uplifting. Would definitely go back, a nice place to go and hang out with friends for a night.

I want to give this place a 5. I really do, but there were small things that prevented me from doing that. Starting with the good, I loved the atmosphere and the people. The venue is a little small, but surprisingly when things started moving, I forgot all about that and really came to love the intimacy. The food - my food - was fantastically flavored, but the rice under my immaculately cooked salmon was a little cold (still ate all of it though, it tasted great). The jokes will have you in stitches, the performances will keep you entertained, and its just a great place to be when you have the time (and money) to go. But, $5.00 cheaper and slightly warmer rice, and I would have given it 5 stars all the way, haha.

Lovedit!. A little hidden gem, hole-in- the wall spot with amazing personality. A crowd representing three generations relaxed, conversed, mingled and partied in the same place with no drama or incidents. The music was jiving and the artist were moving the crowd with R&B, gospel, Rythm n Blues and Jazz. The drinks were strong with your choice of rail or top shelf, prices comparable to most lounges or cafes depending on your drink. Didnt try any food, again comparable to most tapas menus. India Irie was in the club chilling which isnt surprising for celebrities to slide through unannounced. Parking is tight, there is a public lot behind the lounge. Will be returning....

Badly mixed, overpriced drinks (got a Blue MF that tasted like old Sprite), absolutely terrible chips and dip, horribly salty jerk chicken (get 20 of them, that is your salt intake for the year), and the waitress spilled a drink on my friends and me (glass shattering everywhere ... brought out a replacement garbage-tasting Salmon meal). Would have given her no tip, but my conscious insisted it wasnt right. Nothing against this place, but I have eaten and drank better in strip clubs. Atmosphere is good though. So 2 stars for that.

Most welcoming atmosphere. The Host, Dichotomy, was absolutely hilarious and brilliant. Everyone who performed brought something different to the table and performed for the sake for performance. I didnt feel like I was listening to a car salesman trying to sell their stuff. My friend who performed for the first time was so nervous and it couldnt have been a better environment for it. I did see Apache on Periscope before I ever knew I was going to be here. I will be back. Great drinks!

The good....The layout is cozy and pretty. The host was funny, very funny. The bad...The food took a long time and it was not hot. The ugly...The womens bathroom is designed in a way that is not comfortable at all! There is a steep incline as soon as you enter the bathroom. I thought there were stalls in the bathroom but there was just one toilet so I had to slide down the incline to lock the door. I am NOT disabled and I had concerns with getting out without falling.

As a NYC Brooklyn native, I can say this place remind me of home. The only difference is Apache Cafe is better! Competitors show love and respect to one another which we lack in the community. Drinks and food was on point! Surrounded by beautiful people and a pleasure to see a lot of young raw talent presenting on the stage. The southern hospitality is real in Atlanta and I was taken back as the members here treated us with love and respect.

Couldnt get anyone to answer the phone to find out for about the events. Called about 12 times between 6 and 7 to figure out the cost and details. I heard about the event on eventful which says the cost is $10-$25, which is a huge gap. Since no one answered the phone and the details of the pricing is so unclear Im opting out. However if the people who run the place read this and make attempts to fix these problems Id gladly check it out! :/

Firstly, let me say that Im a person of no more color that whats left of last weeks sunburn. I cant say that I was inconspicuous here, but it was a great, welcoming crowd. Maybe I dont share all the cultural background, but thats the great thing about poetry and music. If its done well, then I can live some part of it through the telling. There werent enough bartenders or servers, but I had a great time and would definitely go back.

Apache Cafe is a staple in the Atlanta Music/Art Community. Local Atlanta Indie Artists and out of towners alike pay their dues at this venue before making it big time! I would highly suggest Apache Cafe for anyone who is interested in Live Music/Art. Apache Cafe is also a great venue to host your own shows, album listening parties, artist showcase. Stay abreast with upcoming events by viewing the event calendar on their website.
