So we planned a birthday party for my son. They were very specific to say "show up 15 minutes early to get the bowling shoes because the bowling starts right at 4" . We did show up early, except for a couple that we knew would be late. This was explained to the host and he said that since we had four lanes for our large party, we had right over 30 people, we could put the late ones on their own. But he also said he was going to wait til 4 to take us to get our shoes. After we get our shoes and get to our lanes, which now we only have 3, the timer says we only have 38 minutes left. We informed our host and he said he would fix it. He never did. We asked the supervisor if we could have time added to finish the game since our host was late and he gave us the time. Our host was not having it and ended the games because our 6 pizzas and party platters were ready. So we rush everyone to the tables, we only know which are ours because the pin with th name on it, and get seated. Then we wait and wait. Finally 3 pizzas came out. People still dont have drinks. Time for laser tag even though we are still eating. Still waiting for cups of water. The host said while we were playing laser tag he would clear the table and have the cakes ready. Sure enough we we come out of laser tag tables not cleared but the rest of our pizzas are out. The host clears the table and brings the cake. Wait he has to go back and get the candles. After he stops and talks with others hosts he finally comes back. We sing and as I am serving the cake he says " you only have 10 minutes on the table and then I have another party coming in". I again ask for my glass of water. We rush to eat, dont even bother opening presents to get off the table. We asked for the game cards and he didnt even have all the ones we had reserved for. He reminds us he has to clean the table. My guests were so mad, as they were leaving without even playing, they went to the manager and complained. I explained the situation to them. We talked for about 10 minutes all the while the table they needed to clean was never cleaned. We moved to the benches where he opened his gifts and I paid my check. While the few kids that stayed were playing games, about 45 minutes, the tables were never cleaned. Then the host decides to talk about how he knows he aint going to get in any trouble about being a bad host in front of a guest. Sad to say this was our first experience having a party here, and also our last.

Short version: This place is pretty cool. I prefer bowling here over a large bowling alley. Arcade is cool, food is good, billiard and big screens, booze. Only 4-stars because service can be hit-or-miss. The bowling lanes are very nice, not too slick, and the house balls are mostly in decent shape. I was able to get some wicked spin out of a house 15-lb. ball. I had to add some power to my shot to compensate for how well it spins. Not quite like having your own ball on the lane, but you dont lose all ability to control like with balls in awful condition. Ive been to too many bowling alleys with a score of ruined balls. The arcade has a pretty cool selection, and its a good mix of "crane" games (like a KeyMaster, prize only), ticket games like skiball and my favorite one where you drop the ball on the giant wheel, and a lot of racing games, shooter games and other immersive arcade games. Id like to see a couple more games like The Simpsons and some Ninja Turtles, (any beat-em-up really) but theres a lot of fun games. Its not a load of mobile phone games, though theres a few. Being able to buy time cards for unlimited playing is pretty awesome, even if you cant win tickets playing with one. The main reason Id like to see a few more beat-em-up games that support 4 players is because of those time cards. Billiards are pretty standard. Handful of tables, but the cues arent warped and the balls arent chipped. I wouldnt hold any competitions here, but its great for playing around. Food is pretty good. Had a work event here recently, and we were climbing over each other for buffalo wings. The queso was pretty great, too. Pizza is tasty. The burgers are pretty good, but its hard to screw up a hamburger. The staff was alright. I was not a fan of the bartenders. We dont expect you to enjoy every moment of your job (it is work, after all) but theres a point where you have to keep from showing us that youd rather be somewhere else in that moment. They probably get asked the same questions a thousand times a day, but its part of the job and you gotta roll with the punches. Make it look like youre having more fun than we are, and youll be the best bartender at Main Event. Your tip jar will likely agree with me. Im not a fan of crowded places, but I eagerly await the times when I can go in when its less busy, bowl, play some games and chill. Much better than the local bowling alleys.

We had a party for my niece a couple of days ago and the experience was really horrible and disorganized, It first started with us getting there, they had nowhere to sit us and we were about a party of 20 with some people sitting down and standing with gifts in their hands having nowhere to go and finally they told us that they would get the party room ready and we had bowling in about 5 minutes so we went towards our bowling lanes that were supposed to be reserved for the party and we get there and there is people in our lanes and we had to wait an extra 20 minutes for them to clear it out and clean it. We did 1 hour of bowling and went back to the party room and all the kids got pizza and drinks and we were supposed to have refills for the kids and none of the staff seemed to care about the party room and taking care of refills. Then we had a couple of adults order food and they brought it to us without napkins or utensils, we even ordered a drink that had never been brought and just really horrible service. The games were all packed and had long waiting lines, The overall experience of this place isnt really being lived up to and I highly recommend you go somewhere else, Don’t expect quality service and a lot of the staff seems really confused.

The only reason I gave this location a 1 star is because the food was decent. This location is poorly managed and their employees are in need of training in customer service. The waiter was absolutely horrible. My husband had to keep getting up to get us refills and this waiter would not pay any attention to us. We typically go to the location on Stone Oak and the way we get treated there is fantastic. We asked to speak with a manger at this location two times and either the staff never tried to fetch upper management or the supervisor didnt care to come out and speak with us. I decided that since no one was going to come to me I would just request the regional mangers name and number. So I asked an employee by the name or Norm and he had the audacity to tell me that I shouldnt be complaining and that he has received multiple complaints already and that tonight is not the night for me to be complaining. He stated that all he does is clock in, work and then leave for the day. He then proceeded to tell me that if i wanted a manager just to walk over to the games area and get somebody!
