I love love this place! This and Red Sky have got to be my favorite tapa spots in the ATL! This Eclipse Di Luna is located off of Miami Circle at the very end and around the back of the road, ha! It might be hard to miss if you dont drive all the way to the back so make sure you do. My most recent visit was just before the Christmas holidays. J and I went here for a pre-Christmas date night to enjoy their happy hour special and the ambiance of the place. Our waitress came to greet us and take our drink orders. We inquired about happy hour and if it was still going on; she assured us that it was so we preceded to order our 6 tapas to share amongst one another. We ordered the Patatas Bravas $5.75, Hongos Coca $6.95, Trucha a la Parrilla $7.95, Filete de Solomillo $8.50, Ceviche de Pescado Blanco $7.95, and Vieiras Asadas $10.50. The waitress takes our order to the kitchen, however she comes back and says, "by the way, some of the things you ordered wont be half off for happy hour like the scallops and trout." I understand, but if a customer asks before ordering about happy hour then why didnt she take the time then to say this instead of after we ordered it? This is something for management to work on with their employees for next time! Everything that we ordered (and what Ive ordered before this visit) is worth the price except for the scallops. You get 2 scallops for $10.50. Thats not worth it, but at least we got to try them.

Ive been to this Eclipse di Luna location several times, both lunch and dinner, both weekends and weekdays, and every time the service is consistent, the food is fresh and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The price point is such that you can share four or five dishes for about the cost of two entrees at other restaurants - sometimes more, as they also have special plates every day. The wine list isnt extensive, but has something on the list for everyone and they have some of the best (and most generously sized) cocktails in the city. Id easily recommend this place for a first date or for a night out without the kids. Though kids wouldnt be turned away, Ive never really seen any there and I know my niece and nephew would enjoy very little on the menu as it is. There is plenty of free parking, but do know you have to go ALL the way to the back of Miami Circle to see the restaurant; it kind of looks like youre never going to get there. One point of note is that they ask gentlemen to remove caps when entering, which seems kind of weird for the restaurant as a whole... especially when the host or hostess is casual with "Hey guys," when greeting you. Overall though, this is constant fave of ours and definitely worth a small drive away from the Midtown area (and without all the hassle of Buckhead).

I would give this place 5 stars bc I personally love this place. Both locations are great but this one in Buckhead is more lively with the live band and salsa dancing. That said, both have the same menu, which equates to some of THE best food Ive ever put in my mouth. I recommend the Spanish ribs, patatas bravas (potatoes) and fried string beans. And you HAVE to do the tres leches for dessert. The best Ive had anywhere. But to be realistic and fair, the drinks are a bit expensive / watered down for some people at the table and the music was way too loud and the room too dark imho. I could not have a convo without going hoarse nor see my food or menu. But just request a table in the back or go before 8pm for a more chill / quieter vibe and then after on Thurs to Sat for that salsa club feel. Service can be tricky when it gets crazy packed. But I was patient because the food was that awesome. And I could tell the server was trying to handle a massive party as well as ours. Overall ... a must at least once when in Buckhead! Note: they cant split the bill or take more than 2 forms of payment. So big parties while fun will experience some confusing math at the end of the night.

We came in last night ,5/25, as a group and had a wonderful time except for one thing, our drinks. Every round took anywhere from 15-20 minutes to receive. We didnt get our first round until after we had received more than half of our tapas. To be honest, it was ridiculous. You can clearly see the bartenders behind the bar talking, having fun, spitting fire, but what about our drinks? When drinks are almost $10 per drink, I expect my drinks to get to me in a timely manner. I wouldnt be writing a review if it was only one round of drinks, but we had at least 4 rounds and all of them took way too long to receive. Our server apologized for the delay in drinks and she was such a nice girl that I couldnt fault her for something out of her control. Amanda was calm, sincere, and took wonderful care of us. We were seated near the door and her section was continuously busy the whole time we were there but she gave us great service. I wish I could give more stars or a better review but when I come in spending a good amount of money, I expect my guests and I to be taken care of and not ignored because someone is too busy spitting fire from a tube.

This is a really fun place to celebrate a birthday! When my family told our waitress that it was my birthday, the bartender came over and had me do a basically never-ending "shot" of some type of sangria. The tapas are always incredible here. My favorites are: mac and cheese, asparagus with truffle and peppers stuffed with cheese. But really, it doesnt matter what you order because you cant go wrong. I typically about $20-$30 here. When I go with a big party, the easiest thing for us to do is just split the check evenly. The ambiance at this location--the original--is, in my opinion, way more fun and unique than the Perimeter location. Definitely recommend for any occasion--birthdays, graduations, or just for a regular dinner!! You will not be disappointed!

Food is ehh, drinks are ehh...definitely NOT worth the prices. For the amount we spent we could have went to a more upscale restaurant. The gratuity they added is ridiculous (and our waitress didnt do much to get a $70-80 tip)..and then on top of that, they cant spit checks! You would think for the amount they charge on mediocre food, they would have a better pos system to split checks. But obviously they dont do so because they can make more money off a bigger check then separate checks. $350 (which Im still confused how that total is even possible for what we had) was definitely not worth small plates (2 had to be sent back because they were too salty), watered down alcohol (1 pitcher had to be sent back because it was full of ice), and ultra loud music.

Visited the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon with a group of friends. Its ideal to go with a group since they serve tapas (small plates) and you will get to try more items that way. Starting with the positive, the chocolate turtle dessert is AMAZING! When you go, the best piece of advice is to just order dessert and nothing else. In terms of the actual food and drinks, I was highly disappointed. We tried so many things from hummus to pulled pork sliders and even ordered drinks and all of us didnt like our food. Our server was really nice and offered dessert as a courtesy and we can honestly say we lucked out. Unfortunately this restaurant is not high on my places to make a return visit to unless I have a craving for the chocolate cake.
