Power outages are to be expected in Florida so if youre a business like a movie theater you have a backup inline generator. Or at the very least some battery backups. The power went out while we were in line for tickets complete pandemonium ensued. The ticket girl practically started crying because all the movies quit playing and all the computers shut down. She was trying to reboot her computers when the manager came out and invited people to get their tickets in the concession lines which was nice but we were second in line so we waited where we were. A few minutes later an employee came out and said they would not be selling tickets at the window and everyone needed to come inside to the concessions. It was frustrating to be waiting that long and then end up at the back of a very long line. After we were waiting in line for awhile there the girl working concession told everyone that they needed to move into one line. The stanchions had us in three lines. At this point there were probably 100 people in the entrance area waiting for tickets. We decided to leave and when we passed the front windows, and guess what, they were selling tickets. Save yourself some frustration. Go to the regal theater in Stuart. They know how to handle their business.

Filthy! Rundown! Stale Popcorn! Disgusting Bathrooms! Poor Audio! Poor Screen Image! This place used to be semi-decent when it was Rave Theater but since becoming owned by Carmike it has really gone downhill. The bathrooms are in such horrible disrepair. We were there on 11/22 to see Hacksaw Ridge and the movie started 25 minutes late. After the 20 minutes of trailers it was 45 minutes past showtime. The ladies restroom had holes in the walls repaired with toilet paper and tape! The toilets were filthy the trash cans were overflowing. Our popcorn was all seeds so I had to take it back twice to get fresh popcorn kernels and the soda machines (4 of them) were all broken--two were out of ice, 1 was out of both ice and soda so that left one functioning machine at the front. If this were an isolated incident I wouldnt leave a poor review but this is the state of this theater every time we visit. We now go to Regal Treasure Coast--its longer to drive but its not as dirty. Plus, the audio and image at Carmike is terrible. CLEAN YOUR SCREEN WINDOWS!!! I wont even go into how disgustingly filthy the seats are. Do not go here. Drive to Jensen, Stuart or Vero. The only thing decent about this theater is the Tuesday specials.

On two occasions spanning a month apart I experienced un-pleasurable customer service and poor theatre conditions. I personally am not the one to complain nor even go to this extent but I feel if such disservice is displayed I must inform the public. First visit starts with purchasing tickets for a movie as well as concessions. When getting to the designated theater I notice an awful sound coming from the speakers (obviously blown). I proceed to the concession stand to bring up the problem and the manager wastes no time to refund my tickets. Fine, I finish the movie. Fast forward a month later, after deciding to give them another chance the same problem is present. But this time the manager is reluctant at first to refund my money and says to go back to the theatre and if the problem persists to come back and get your money back. My issue is this, if you run a business and have issues dont rip off the public by selling tickets to a faulty product and if your tanking, sell. Safe to say I wont be going back and I am totally disappointed in the business Carmike is running.

Went to see Star Trek Beyond tonight. There was a fire in the concession area (concession machine billowing smoke). Some issues we had: Alarm went off, advising us to exit through the lobby. We had no idea what was going on (No one came to tell us), so we decided to do the smart thing and use the emergency exit. Except it was LOCKED. Myself and two other people tried it, so it wasnt stuck. Had to exit through smoke-filled lobby. Employees, including management, were all already outside. Guess the patrons are to fend for themselves? I informed on-scene law enforcement of the issue and will be reporting to the Fire dept/Marshal on Monday, as well as reported to Carmike corporate. Completely inappropriate! Emergency exits are for emergencies, but I guess this theatre never got that memo. Got replacement tickets for our movie, but we will not be using them. We will use a different theatre, as the latest blockbuster hit isnt worth dying for. And here I thought the filthy bathrooms I had to use earlier in the evening was the biggest danger I faced there.

This place was great a few years ago but it has turned into a dump since. I saw the reviews but went anyways because its close to me_big mistake. My brother and I notice that the sound of the film we went to see had a super annoying hum. My brother went to tell someone and they said they would be right on it. 30 minutes later (in Sponge Bob voice), nothing changed. So, I decided to go and tell someone about the annoying noise myself, thinking that if two different people said something maybe they would act...but nothing! Needless to say it was a waste of two tickets and my time. And to add onto what other people have said, indeed the bathrooms are not super clean and the seats are pretty grimy. This place needs an overhaul and new management. Kind of sad to see what once was a nice theatre turn to crap. If you dont care about what you do then go do something else. In the mean time lets get a company that gives a damn to take over this theatre because there are a lot of people in the Port Saint Lucie area that used to enjoy this theatre.

The positive dont out weigh the negatives. This movie theater is conveniently located right by the highway and in a central location near good restaurants, bars, and a baseball field. Theres a lot to do around this movie theater BUT the service and movie experience has been worst over the years. Picture quality looks grainy and old. The sound system in the theater is low with almost no bass. A big action my should make the theater rumble but you can here people around you moving during the big action scenes. Food and drinks are expensive for example a water bottle cost more the beer or wine. The only reason I go to this theater is because they are the only one close. Every other theater is 30-45 minutes away. I sad that this theater doesnt have bigger screens and options for sensory friendlyshowing

Worst theater I have ever been to. The theater smelt of mold, most uncomfortable seats I ever sat in at a movie theater and a couple of seats had an out of service sign on them. The sound system is horrific and there is no surround sound and zero bass. All the sound comes from the front. In the middle of the screen there were huge black spots that made the visuals hard to see and hard to ignore. I couldnt believe they charge you full price and give you less than half of quality that other theaters have. Do not waste your hard earned money here! I have seen two movies here and both times were an awful experience. I will go back until they fix these huge problems. I usually do not write reviews but I thought I could save someone from the bad experience I and my friends had.
