We are frequent movie goers. Because the price of concessions are beyond ridiculous at the Regal at the Treasure Coast Mall, our first choice to see a movie is the Regency in Stuart. While not deeply discounted for matinees like other theaters we have been to in other places, the prices are at least moderately priced and for seniors, the same price regardless of the time of day. The concessions are not overly expensive (as compared to other theaters) and there is a nice childrens or senior combo deal that makes having popcorn and a drink affordable. On Tuesdays there is also a Senior combo deal that provides an extra discount on the senior combo popcorn & drink deal if purchased with the movie ticket. As seniors who enjoy frequent movies, this extra discount is greatly appreciated. Also, the popcorn (buttered) has a much better flavor than the Regal, plus they have popcorn salt at the counter that you can add, which the Regal does not offer. The theater is older, but spacious, the seats are comfortable (high back and recline) and the screens are large with good picture and sound quality. There have been some problems occasionally with the volume being painfully loud (especially the pre-movie ads), where we have seen patrons request that it be adjusted to a more comfortable level. But the theater has always been clean and the employees very helpful and friendly, and seem to enjoy working there. The bathroom renovation appears to finally be completed and have turned out very nice. They are always clean, well stocked and well lit. The Regency has a loyalty rewards card and has finally added a function to their website to be able to monitor how many points are on the card and what rewards you have not yet redeemed. That is very helpful and the rewards are very welcome! And seeing movies as frequently as we do, they add up fast. Bottom line is that Regency 8 Cinema is a nice opportunity to view first run movies at a moderate price point in pleasant, comfortable surroundings and we appreciate having a theater like this so conveniently located. As long as they continue to keep their prices for both tickets and concessions reasonably priced, we will continue to patronize them at every opportunity.

I paid for a movie that had started 1/2 hour into the showing sat down in the theater had my tickets in my hand at 4:50 and the movie had started at 4:30 pm I only watched half of it when I got up to let them clean the theater and use the restroom when I returned the manager had asked me what was I waiting for. I told him I wanted to watch the beggining of the movie being I entered at half of the movie and he said policy is for me to pay for a next ticket at 7pm. I had to pay to finish watching the movie. I was never informed at the window that I couldnt enter due to the movie already had started and I should wait to purchase the next showing instead nor are there any signs indicating this at the front doors where tickets are purchased . Then when I told him I have a right to stay watch the second half he called the police from Stuart officer #157 I showed the Officer my ticket and was told by the Officer to leave and told that the Manager requested a trespass warning and he handed me a pink ticket stating Im tresspassing. I recorded took out my camera and recorded infront of the Police officer of Stuart that there are no signs indicating that if you purchase a ticket and a second portion of the movie was not watched you have to purchase a second ticket to watch the next showing. Total lack of notification on the premises and the Manager whos name is Ray Morero who called the police to remove me without legal warrant to do so. I was treated like a crimal infront of my eight year old daughter who was also thrown out we both were treated unjustly. Total discrimination due to the color of my skin.

WILL NOT BE RETURNING. Tonight friends and I purchased tickets to see "Baby Driver". After watching the movie for about 15 minutes the power went out due to a storm, we waited for about 10 minutes for it to return on the screen. After it came on there was no sound, so I went out and asked a staff member to please rewind and cue the sound again. He assured me they would, I returned to the movie and nothing happened. They continued on with the movie without rewinding, in fear of missing more of the movie I didnt go back out to ask AGAIN. I came out of the movie unsure as to what the whole ending meant. I told the manager that we werent satisfied and he began to argue saying he "put the movie back on in the condition it stopped in" which WASNT true. He said "everyone else said it came back on at the right time." We watched as most of our theater got refunds and left due to the lack of capability this manager had. He was incredibly rude, didnt act respectfully or in the way I expect a "manager" to act. After asking me "what I wanted already" he gave me 2 free returning tickets. Moral of the story, the manager should not be "overwhelmed" or having a "stressful" night and take it out on a PAYING customer. I am extremely dissatisfied to say the least. My friends and family drive from Jupiter which is a good 30 minutes away, but never again. Unless you want to be called a liar, I would not go here or give them your business.

Deplorable. We took our 91 year old mother here because of ease of access and because this facility has headphones for the hard of hearing. First set did not work. Same for the second. By the third set Shift Manager Tim got involved after I asked for a manger. He saw where we sat and then walked off with another headset in his hands. Never heard from him again. Mom did the best she could hearing- which essentially meant she heard nothing. After the movie I approached Shift Manager Tim. He told me that in every other theater the headsets worked but it was too late in the evening to get the technician in to repair. I asked for my money back for moms ticket only and was flatly refused on the grounds that she stayed for more than half the movie. He had an attitude the whole time like I was an irritation he just wanted to go away. As we were leaving another couple mentioned to me they heard the conversation and could not believe what they just heard. Needless to say this theater will not get a penny from my family ever again. I plan on telling everyone I know what happened. You need to consider training your staff better or maybe hiring the right people to begin with because what you have now is not working. Shift Manager Tim has a lot to learn about people.

This theatre is the WORST!! on 2 separate occasions I went to take my grandsons to a movie there. They have special needs and cannot handle 3D. NOWHERE doid it indicate 3D on the Marquee or in front. I had a feeling when I paid because it was a little pricey. Then when we fot inside I got them their snacks and was handed the GLASSES I WAS FLOORED. Now I cannot turn around so we decided to try it. NO GOOD> I had to leave halfway through. As I am trying to get my grandsons out to the car before a meltdown and obviously there was a problem as we went to walk out, The female Manager, all of maybe 20 years old is running after me asking for my 3D Glasses. AARE YOU KIDDING ME!! I went back to talk to her after the kids were in the car and explained the problem with the 3D NEVER an apology or anything. When I told her she didnt have to worry I wasnt planning on stealing her 3D glasses, because it never said to leave them or have a box to deposit them after the movie. Save yourself the hassle and go to Treasure Coast Mall!!
