Hello! Please keep in mind that I am new and from the Midwest/east coast. Im unsure of the culture concerning movie theaters here. I thought the price of the ticket was normal. I was particularly thankful for the student price. When we entered the theater, the first thing we saw was popcorn all over the place. This made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I knew there was a reason the ticket prices didnt match my perception of LA. Every single seat (even the premium ones) were DISGUSTING. It was dark and I could still see the dirt. I thought maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me. I pulled out my phone light and my eyes were right. It was bad. I have never seen a theatre so dirty. On the other hand, I take that kind of thing for granted living in suburban environments in my teens. This was another level though. It was so bad my cousin and I didnt even want to sit down after searching the entire theatre for a clean seat. We found only one seat that was passible. I believe it was clean because it was the seat next to wheelchair seating and no one sits alone at the theatre. This place would get 1 start (for the price) but Im giving it two because they agreed to give me a refund. If youre hard up on options for affordable moving going this place is for you but you might want to bring your own snacks cause if this is how they handle their seats I do not want the food they prepare in my body. You might die.

I have to say that I had a really bad experience with a concession attendant and the on duty manager was not much help, the issue was that the attendant asked me for the rewards card three times and she kept on rechecking and re starting the order so it got a bit frustrating and I told her to keep the card until she was done with the payment process and she gave me an attitude and told me that I did not have to be a Jerk, My daughters were with me and they know that I was not rude in any way so that upset me and I asked to speak to the Manager, The lady ignored me and refused to call the manager so I asked another employee to get the manager for me we discussed the issue but I was not completely satisfied because the the manager told me that I needed to understand the lady was trying her best, Im sorry but if she cant handle working in customer service then she shouldnt be there, however the theater is kept in descent shape but love the D-BOX motion seating specially in 3D sadly this is the closest theater with this option, The sad part is that when my family and I go to the theater it is usually seven of us and we usually spend in average of $200 when we go to the theater so you would think they have well mannered staff that could appreciate the business I will now visit this theater on occasion but prefer the revamped regency 8 now called CINEMARK in North Hollywood.

Just left the theatre. Cant believe what I just saw,We were in a theatre watching "how to train your dragon" with the kiddos. Some guy (dont know name, just know he was african american) stands up shouting at a man behind him about how he is... "fat assh---", shouldnt be at a kids movie, he has no right to tell him how to watch his kids and so what if his kid is jumping on chairs in a completely different row from where they were sitting (happened to be next to this guy). People next to me were "shhhing" this man for his kids being loud and the guy took it out on this innocent other. The best part is when I went to the bathroom, the 2 were talking to the manager it seemed like and the manager did nothing about it. I can tell you for one, it ruined our movie, because this guys kids just kept going and he didnt care. Not sure what happened to the other guy, hopefully he got his money back. This theatre has always lacked descent management, but this was too much....I think next time we will go over to Van Nuys, or Burbank. Certainly the family should have been asked to leave. If my kids were doing this, I would leave just out of embarrassement.

Living in CALI for a few months right near this place. Been here probably 10 times and heres an honest review: The people are great. Spoke with the manager a couple times, shes really cool. When its a busy an older gentleman takes people inside to buy their tickets from an atm looking ticket machine. The younger kids they have working there are always talkative and friendly. As far as food pretzels are made fresh to order, popcorn is always hot, and they have premade hot dogs. I had a couple good ones and a couple bad ones. Good thing they were a dollar and I didnt expect much for a dollar. The movies are on time, volumes good, never encountered a technical issue, and I have seen some big movies in big theaters with only 2 or 3 other people in the entire place. In all the worst thing about this place is I eat too much for only about 12 bucks every time I go. A+

It is really hard for me to rate a theatre. See I basically live in the movies. I go to alot of different venues and see alot of different movies. The plant has its own charm. Now like most things charm doesnt mean it is good or bad, it means it is its own. When you pull up you are greeted by nothing special other than the police station next door. (AT least you feel safe?) When you go in, a slightyly dingy but overall clean lobby awaits you. The "We dont you" entrance where they check all bags etc leads into a concession area with the screens on either side. The screens themselves are in okay shape. They are older and so is the seating. You dont come here for comfort you come here for the fair price movies. 10 bucks is a "good" deal now days. If you want to see a movie in passable quality make sure to head to the plant to save some money!!

Prices are good, I like the staggered seating, and the screens and sound are good. The seats are not as comfortable as some places, but I dont care, for the price I pay! And I have had my bag searched on occasion, but it doesnt bother me. Clientele is hit or miss, but thats most theaters in L.A. There can be some idiots who think its okay to talk as though theyre in their living rooms, or text as though the light from their particular phone isnt annoying, but there are also times in this place where everyone is great...theyre respectful of the fact that everyone wants to enjoy the movie. There are video games in the lobby, too, in case you want to kill some time before or after the movie. Overall, this is one of my fave places to go to the movies.
