I made a reservation for my birthday THREE WEEKS IN ADVANCE and they messed up the reservation. They gave me tickets for seven people instead of ten and we couldnt just uninvite three people! Of course they did not call me to inform me of this issue until THE DAY OF our reservation TWO HOURS before we were supposed to be there. They obviously waited until the day of instead of at least two days prior to prevent me from getting a refund. When they did call, the lady on the phone was INCREDIBLY rude and emotionally abusing. I am astonished at the way this situation was handled and will be going to escape rooms elsewhere in the future. Update: When she read this review, she called my mom and harassed her and called her stupid multiple times, repeating "Its not rocket science". The way my mother was treated is simply humiliating and sad. I can not believe an organization would treat its costumers n such a horrendous way. I am absolutely appalled.

Although the location is small and tucked away, I loved my experience at Escape Room Woodbridge! I went with some girlfriends to try something new, Id been to an escape place in DC but ERW was better quality construction and puzzles. I was impressed! One of the co-owners, Birgitta, came out to greet our group and tell us about the facility and policies, then we were shown to our room. We did "Lights, Camera, Murder" where we had to solve the murder of a model in 1960s New York. The room had great detail and some really challenging puzzles! We made it out in the nick of time (one puzzles lock took a lot of finagling) and had a successful group photo with their photo booth props. While we got started a large group of Girl Scouts started the room next door, but we couldnt hear them at all! Cant wait to try another room and I hope that they expand!

We have been to a few escape rooms. And this by far was our worst experience. Previous escape rooms had a good storyline that the clues, even if we didnt figure them out on our own made sense. This place however was not like this, the majority of the clues did not make any sense so the person had to walk us through some of them. It was not just us, because before we started I asked if the team with the fastest time needed help and the lady working said yes this in our previous experiences would disqualify you as a team for being the best time. But with this place they had to compensate for clues and storyline that was not thought out very well. It was $120 for the 4 of us to participate. Escape rooms are so much fun so if youre interested I suggest taking that money and going somewhere to an Alexandria/DC location.

The audio in the room was horrible. We could not hear the clues and little assistance was provided because of it. Took my family (three kids, three adults) and even with only ten minutes left they didnt offer to help us go through the next steps. Worse experience for my family ever. Being a veteran of Escape Room in Fairfax I feel really bad my family had such a horrible experience. Stick with the one in Fairfax which they ensure you have a wonderful experience rather you get all the clues done or not! I will never be able to talk my family into trying this again now and that makes me sad considering my corporation uses this for team building in Fairfax.

This was my first Escape Room experience and I had so much fun. As newbies, my son and I had no idea what to do or what to expect. It was challenging and stressful, but so much fun trying to figure out the clues. We had a parlor maid inside with us in the Haunt room giving us subtle clues when needed. Now I want to bring the rest of my friends and family and do the other escape rooms! Great activity for friends, family, girls night, birthdays, etc. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Definitely recommend!

Friends and I did the Adventures in Wonderland room and it was pretty good. The puzzles were some of the best and most challenging Ive seen from the rooms Ive done. The room decor/ambiance could have been a bit better. It had the appropriate props, but could have been switched out for any other theme. With a theme like Alice in Wonderland, they could have gone a bit more out. However, it was fun and we escaped with over 7 minutes to go.

I just went to this escape room with my son (the first time for me) and absolutely loved it! It was intriguing and I found myself really wondering how to figure out the clues and to successfully find the answer to the riddle, versus just watching my son play. So, here it is Moms, you can enjoy this game just as much as your child and both of you will have a really fun time trying to figure this out! Have fun and enjoy the ride!

I heard great things about this Escape Room from friends and we gave it a try. It exceeded our expectations! On top of the room setup and scenario being top-notch, the employees were extremely professional, friendly and helpful from the time we booked our reservation all the way through the experience. Its great to have a place like this so close to home without having to drive towards DC. Well definitely be back!

My family recently tackled the new Da Vincis Workshop room. We had a great time! Many of the clues were quite unique; certainly unlike what I had experienced at other escape rooms, so there was a really fresh, new vibe. We all thoroughly enjoyed working through the clues and connecting the ideas. I completely recommend it for both veterans and amateurs alike!

So much fun, and tricky! I had to do two of the rooms twice, but finally solving the puzzles was so satisfying. Great ambiance and decor, I really felt transported into the alternate world when playing. The staff went above and beyond in ensuring we had a good time. Easy online booking and they answered all of our questions. I will be back!

I was here with my brothers, who had never done an escape room before. The staff were friendly and very helpful in explaining the rules. Without spoiling, the room we were in was very thematic and the puzzles were clever. My brothers and I very much enjoyed the experience and we cannot wait to go back!

I have completed 4 Escape Room Adventures successfully! It was a great way to spend an hour. In my opinion, this is the best way to spend time with friends and family. Its so close to home, its very affordable, and its NOT BORING! Everyone can participate. I look forward to the upcoming HAUNT!

My daughter and I went here to have some fun, and we did. We were the only ones in the room, so we needed a little extra guidance here and there, but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We look forward go going again in the future.
