Avoid this theater like the plague! They dont care about keeping their customer base in a dying industry. The place is dirty/sticky, outdated, and it is always humid/hot inside. If you want to see a movie, avoid Regency and go to Pacific Theatres. They are all updated and actually care about keeping business flowing. Im a single dad, and I take my little boy here almost weekly to see the new kids movies, and there is always a problem. Last time, the a/c wasnt working, and the time before that, the sound was glitching during the film. Today was the last straw with these failures. The last 2 times we went here, they waved us right through when I had a drink in my hand. Today, the ticket guy stopped me for having a brand new Starbucks drink in my hand, and told me outside food and drink arent allowed - even though there is a Starbucks in the same strip mall as the theater, and they dont serve anything like what I had at the theater. I explained that it was never a problem before, and he didnt seem to care. I asked for the manager, and he ended up flagging one down because the manager on duty, Patty, didnt have her radio on her. When she came over, I explained that it was never a problem in the past (which is why I stopped at Starbucks before the movie), and that I planned on getting my son some concessions before the film. She refused service and said she could hold my coffee until after the movie, but that it was impossible for me to enter the theater with it. I understand if a business sets a strict policy, but this is the first time it was enforced and my straw wasnt even in my coffee yet. I explained that I dont have the money to just throw coffee away, and there was no time to sit outside and finish it because the movie was about to start. I also explained that we were going to purchase food and drinks for my son at their concessions stand. She didnt care. My son was extremely excited to go into the movie, and she threw us out over a cup of coffee. I used to love coming to this theater, but Ill never come back again (nor will my friends and family), thanks to Patty. She has absolutely no idea how to manage, and doesnt have the slightest idea of what customer service means. I guess they have too much business, because I explained that Id never be back because of this and she just smiled.

HORRIBLE experience watching Zootopia. What kid gets kicked out from watching a kid movie. Someone complained because my kid sang during parts of the movie. Hello!!! My kids were enjoying the movie and we had to leave. I asked for a refund on our tickets and the manager offered ticket vouchers. Hello dear manager, do you think my family and friends will be returning to your movie theater. You can count on me telling all of my friends, family and co-workers not to go to your movie theater or any Regency movie theater. I guess AMC has gained more customers. DO NOT GO TO THIS THEATER!!! YOUR KID MAY GET ASKED TO LEAVE BECAUSE THEY ARE HAVING FUN WATCHING A KID MOVIE!!!! Your business description on YELP said that you are a kid friendly business; what a joke. How do you explain to a kid that you have to leave because you are enjoying the movie and sang along with the song?

Its close to me and not usually to crowded and prices for movie tickets and popcorn and soda are cheaper here than other theatres. Its an older smaller theatre and not as high on the stadium seating as other theatres but its all they could do without completely rebuilding the place from the ground up. It does the job but is best to watch the newer better movie releases there because thats when you get too watch a movie in their larger theatre. Overall it does the job but now and then if someone is tall in from of you might see part of his head. I say if you are not to picky or spoiled and just looking to a movie then this place will do. Dont forget lower prices too! :-)

Ive worked at a movie theatre before, and Im currently working at another theatre now. I just wanted to say that closing time for most all theatres is based upon the last show. Whatever time the last show starts plus 15 minutes (or so depends on the place) is when the snack bar closes. And then about an hour or so after that (when employees are done closing and cleaning) is when the entire theatre "closes." Even if there are shows still running after that time is when the doors are locked. There is no way to post an exact time online because there usually isnt an exact time

Hands down the most comfortable seats of any of our local theaters. That includes the theaters at Northridge Fashion Center and the theater complex on Winnetka! The ticket prices are good, the senior tix a real deal. I understand the popcorn is very good. Must be, otherwise we wouldnt see such a long line at the snack bar to buy it. We get our own snacks a few doors down at the Sees Candy Shop, (Shhhh!) and bring them in to savor. Two pieces each can get us through the entire film (and coming attractions) as well. I neednt say more. Its Sees Candy, which speaks for itself!

I have been coming to this theater ever since I was a child. I must say that this is my favorite movie theater to come to! Its located conveniently for me and its in a great neighborhood. You should definitely take advantage of their low cost matinee times as its much more price effective than other high chain theaters. The seats are very comfortable and the rooms are fairly big. If you live in the area, this is the place to come to! Also dont forget that you can park behind the movie theater and theres LOTS of space! I hope you enjoy your visit.

This place has really improved in the last few year I used to go here when I was younger they started getting a little run down and didnt maintain the place very well so had to stop going,but I went in there about a year ago and they have definitely improved seats are comfy employees are nice and best of all they dont get too crowded I like going there when I Wana see a movie and just have a nice quiet night with out dealing with large crowds

Used to patronize this theater for their classic movies on Tuesdays. Had a situation where customer service was not satisfying. The theater has lots of customers that they really do not care if one customer no longer does business with them. Over time they will treat so many customers wrong that it will eventually come back to damage their business. Hope that regional manager can see the situation and correct it in time.

One of the more affordable options but this place has a lot of heart. I definitely come here when I want to save some monies over the more expensive options further west. Sometimes the hot dogs are a bit rough or the grease pump for the popcorn doesnt work. But the people here are helpful, friendly and overall a pleasure to chat with. This is easily my favorite theater for that oh so rare human hospitality.
