Unacceptable. Hello Im a customer to this movie theater and so are my friends we are all 16 and a half going into junior year of high school. So we come to this movie theater a lot and this is just plain stupid and disrespectful to me and my friends. Today was the day where we decided to go watch the purge election year and all of are parents are okay with it. So my mom goes up and buys our ticket we go inside and give the ticket to the man and he tells us if we have an adult to watch the movie with. We say no but my mom and my friends mom have our consent to watch this movie. The man says that we cant go in and watch it because we need a 21 year old adult with us. First of all we are all 16 almost becoming 17 I think we can handle a scary movie. Seccond of all our parents said yes for us to see it. No they tell us to go outside and get a refund or see a different movie. This is just unacceptable we are here to see this movie and no other. I go outside and tell my mom and so she comes inside and so does my friends mom they tell the man that they are here to see this movie and that we have their permission to see it. They say sorry and we have to get a refund or change the movie. Why is this a thing that we need a adult with us if we have the permission to see it by are selfs. Not only this but we decided to see shallows and we had to go to the bathroom and so we did and got a bucket of popcorn. The whole time looking at us were workers like we are bad kids trying to seek into the other movie. THIS IS JUST DISRESPECTFUL!!! She comes up to us bothering no one else but us seeing what movie we are watching and not movie hopping. FIX THIS STUPID RULE AND LET PEOPLE IN IF THEY HAVE THEIR PARENTS CONCENT TO WATCH THE MOVIE!!!

Went to see Beauty and the Beast Monday ..we arrived at 6:55 and our movie started at 7:30. We wanted to get food and beer and there wasnt very many people there so we waited. We ended up being late to our movie which was right beside the concession stand because they could not get it together behind the counter! And the man was not apologetic whatsoever. So I went ahead into the theater before I missed too much cause I had been DYING to see it and asked my boyfriend to grab me a beer, the man behind the counter had already checked my ID and stared at our faces for the last 30 minutes but would not let my boyfriend bring me a beer so I didnt miss more of the movie that I had arrived 35 minutes early to, to avoid this problem. Now, I understand if he didnt just watch me ask him to bring one for me and didnt JUST check my ID and if he wasnt the reason that Ive already started to miss my movie that we paid $50 to come see, but that wasnt the case. We spent $100 at that place to come enjoy our night and they put a pretty good damper on my mood so needless to say, I wont recommend it. OH and the 3D glasses were CRAP. Both of ours had so much stuff on them that you couldnt rub off, it was hard to see but I looked passed it so I didnt miss more movie.

I am an avid movie person. I like movies streamed, with or without commercials. I like renting videos, but most of all... I love the big screen. However, times being what they are, economy wise, I have been unable to afford as many trips to the big screen as in the past. Enter the crux of my low rating here. I paid 16 bucks for a seat in the IMAX to watch Man of Steel the other day. I assumed it was not 3d since I was issued a pair of glasses to view the movie with. Not a real big deal, as I only had to ask the ticket taker for glasses. He presented me with a pair of 3d glasses and I went back into the theatre. Problem was the glasses didnt work on the screened image and I just saw an offset image still. After 30 minutes of the movie from vision hell I gave up and went to the counter to speak to the manager and ask for my money back. She calmly exclaimed "You dont even have the right glasses", in a slightly condescending way. She should have insisted that I come back another time, orat least have been concerned about my experience and the $34 I already invested in the day there so far. Instead she handed me the correct glasses and encouraged me enjoy the rest of my movie. Thoughtfulness points lost. Customer lost. Money lost.

The bright and distracting lights in the hallways/stair area are bright and distracting. I understand that there needs to be some lighting there so that people dont trip and fall, thats fine, but these lights were excessive and killed the mood. An employee came in twice during our movie - armed with one of those large red glow sticks he walked up the isle stairs, stopped, and scanned the audience. He did this for both sides. Once again, this happened twice. Heres a pro tip for you, Edwards Valencia 12 & "IMAX": When you treat your patrons like this they are less likely to come back to your establishment. The Netflix, the Red Box, and all of the video on demand services are cheaper, faster, and now (thanks to your silly policies) the better movie going experiences. You can not sabotage the only thing that makes you special. You have to take the time to fix the lights and you have to get rid of the rent-a-cop with the glow stick. Hes not going to catch the teenagers who sneak in, and even if he did the trade off isnt worth it. Youll lose more money in the long run from the people like me who dont want to put up with the distraction. Its simple economics.

My husband and I took our 12 year old daughter to see "Tarzan" The movie trailers that played were "LIGHTS OUT", OUIJA, & DONT BREATHE!!! We had to put a shirt over her face and have her plug her ears. We left the theater and demanded our money back! The Manager "Jason Yung" said it was company policy to play "R" rated trailers before a PG 13 movie. I looked up the policies in the MPAA rating system and nowhere does it say we have to be subjected to this type of violent & sadistic material. The employees were extremely rude when refunding our tickets. I am appalled and disgusted with the lack of professionalism at this Edwards facility. We should have disclaimers prior to purchasing our tickets that these types of movie trailers will be shown. If a minor cannot watch "R" rated movies in your theaters then the trailers need to be appropriate for all viewing audiences. These trailers & movies are not even posted on your websites. We have been blindsided by your lack of caring and consideration for those of us who choose not to watch these types of films. I will make sure everyone is aware of Regals practices.
