Im not a picky person and how bad can a movie theater be? The theater is small and the seats are ok, but thats not the problem. I went to go see Captain America Civil war, maybe 20 other people in the audience with me, 30 minutes left in the movie the power goes out. Ok, power goes out, not the theaters fault, things happen. HOWEVER, I sat there for a while, no employee came in to tell us what was going on or when the movie would come back on. So I go to check in with them and they barely gave me an answer. I just asked when they thought the movie would be back on. Both employees mumbled something then one finally said "in a few minutes" by now it had been atleast 20 minutes since the power went out. I go back to my seat wait another 10 minutes then finally the screen turns on, another 10 minutes go by before the movie comes back on but with no sound! So I sit there for another 10 minutes watching a silent movie of parts of the movie I havent seen yet. After about an hour the movie finally got back on with the sound working. The thing that pissed me off the most was the fact not once did an employee come tell the theater what was going on or update us about when the movie would start. No offer of popcorn or something for us to wait a whole hour while they fix whats going on. What it comes down to is the awful costumer service, and you really dont need a lot of customer service when it comes to a movie theater. I will definitely never be returning to this theater

I love this theater because it is a little-known gem in the Valley. I have been here twice now for matinees, & it so quiet & not crowded, at all. Having the choice of floor or balcony seats is awesome! The staff that works there are delighted - very nice & helpful. The theater is also very well maintained and clean. After the movie, there are good choices of where to eat in the area. The 2 places that I recommend to eat at that are within walking distance of the theater are Hamburger Hamlet or In-N-Out Burger, depending on whether you want to sit down and be served, or have fast food. Anyway, I will definitely return to the Pacific Sherman Oaks 5.

I had car trouble on the 101 and called three different places, after being put on hold for 5-10 minutes they all gave me really expensive price quotes and then toldhee me it would be 2-3hrs before I would be able to get assistance. Luckily I tried 1 more number and got in touch with David the dispatcher and he quoted me a price that was about half of what the others had given me, and they showed up in like 20-30 minutes. Car trouble sucks, and it was nice to finally get in touch with a tow service that was helpful and fair. It made a very big difference to me on a difficult day, they made it a lot easier....

I love this theatre. I come here all the time. If I want an overcrowded, noisy, and busy theatre, there are a lot of choices. I love this one in my neighborhood and it just feels like home. My whole family and I love coming here because it feels private. Its clean, they are always friendly, and I can easily get in and out and be home in 3 minutes. I love it and I hope everyone in the neighborhood supports it. Like I mentioned before, if you want busy, there are plenty of choices. Its nice to have one thats not the norm. Thank you for serving us in the neighborhood.

The staff is very nice. The theatre isnt the greatest but I dont mind taking my kids there because it is centrally located. My issue is the last time I was there, I saw a roach come from behind the counter. The cashiers were so humiliated. I actually felt bad for them. It wasnt their fault. But I knew then that Id never go back. Its a hard image to shake especially while youre eating your popcorn- that you were still charged for.

Theres something pleasantly nostalgic about this place. It feels retro, as a slightly worn out but comfortable old neighborhood movie theatre. Dont expect top-notch projection and sound, but the staff is always very friendly and sometimes there are so few customers you get a private screening.

Great theater, a bit pricey but you get the extra options you might not in another theater; a full bar, select 21+ showings that allow you to bring in your alcoholic beverages inside, etc. the caramel corn is to die for. They validate for 4 hour free parking too, I believe.

Atrocious theater. Movie was not in focus. When I complained, they said they did not have a full time projectionist and they had really old projectors, so there was nothing they could do about it. Not worth even a half price ticket unless you are blind.

A sleeper of a movie location. Loved sitting in the balcony with no other patrons on a Monday evening. Will be returning for a reasonably priced, neighborhood theater. Didnt give a 5 stars because the place hadnt been cleared of prior food items.

its a second run movie theater with a disinterested staff. if theres a big action movie in the next theater, you can hear it through the walls. but you cant be too fussy. it is what is it. theyd be better off showing indies or foreign films.

What do you want, Radio City Music Hall? Its a good little theater for the price, good location good parking. Bring your own snacks if you want. Dont let a bug ruin your day. Bada Bing there you go.

Has neighborhood feel to it, like when I was young in my hometown. Love the price. Its run down but clean, and the popcorn gets popped and the sodas are cold. What more do you want?

24 Frames Per second!!!! Film flickering is a magic that you cant put your finger on, but somehow makes movies as such unique and unrepeatable with home theaters .

A great hidden gem of a movie theater. The arclight gets all the attention, but this theater actually has a balcony! And low prices! And free parking! Check it out!

It was my favorite theatre as a kid and it still is. It is relaxing and nice and not overpriced or over packed, I love it, and the parking is easy. Five Stars.

Its quiet and it has balconies... Good price for what it is... Its like going into a time warp... Its a movie theatre the belongs in the 80s...

Always a good go-to for a movie a week or so after launch elsewhere. Only wish the owners would invest to update the look inside.

Cheap theater in a decent neighborhood. I wish the seats were more comfortable, but I also realize you pay more for that.

Smaller, quieter theater. Easy in and out, good for those with mobility issues.
