I visited this theater on 4th of July. I arrived to see my movie a bit early. About 15 minutes before the movies started. As I entered theater #6 I first noticed a stuffy odor. At this times the lights were brighten, therefore everything was visible. I must say this theater had the most nasty filthiest seats Ive ever seen. My husband and I walked from row to row trying to find a clean seat. Literally from row to row. There were stains, deep black dirt marks, the arm rest are worn, and white stains. The seats smell not to mention you can probably get head lice! Why would a theater invest in so call velour seats knowingly that material stains and wear and tear is poor. Seeing this made me very uncomfortable having to sit in dirty seats in my nice clean clothes. To think if it was dark we would have sat anywhere. We finally decided to cough it up and sat in the farrrr left corner. I was so frustrated I wanted to get a manager. I did. I asked him has the theater ever thought about investing in vinyl seats. I explained to him the problem. I asked him has anyone in management taken the time to look inside the theater walls? Have they ever cleaned these seats? I asked has he personally been inside? His reply was no...smh. So I proceeded to tell him well todays your lucky day, lets go. He even offered me plastic to sit on..smh really thats just all bad. I told him to do a walk through. I walked back to my seat he did the walk through. No comment. I will never ever go here again. I also took pictures of their nasty seats.

The last half dozen times weve gone to Edwards, we gave up trying to find a parking spot. the town center has u-shaped parking sandwiched between the main complex shops and an outer stretch of major stores (wal mart, sams club, Lowes, etc.) with islands of restaurants...the upshot being that theres rarely a parking space in the evening. Weve tried using Fandango to speed our way into the theater, but they have only two kiosks, one or both of which is usually broken - and they wont service you otherwise. On the rare occasions when weve found a spot to park, twice we were stuck in a longer and slower line at the Fandango ATM, and missed the start of the movie. All for $12.50 per ticket or so. At least the Stadium seats are comfortable. All in all, unless its a matinee or someones dropping me off, I would rather get root canal than try to fight my way into the theater. Once inside, its not so bad.

Im not sure how reviewers could give this place one star and not say a word about why. I think its safe to say we can discredit them completly. I come here with my gf when we are having a dinner/date nite. What can I say, its clean, the seats are comfy, the picture and sound quality is good. The food is processed theater food so I cant comment as the only thing we ever get is popcorn and soda. Eat somewhere else if you want good food. Its a no brainer. We only go during the week so I cant speak of weekend crowds. Its conveniently located next to the 605 and numerous tasty restaurants like In N OUT, Kabuki (try the saki sangria!), and the always satisfying LUCILLES BBQ! We even do a little shopping in the nice shops surrounding the theater while waiting for our movie. All in all this is our go to for the above mentioned reasons.

It rocks over there. Im an Edwards Theaters guy now. And Im still an AMC Theaters guy. I used to be a regular at Pacific Theaters in Lakewood, but they did me wrong when I went to see the new Star Wars movie so the guys at Pacific Theaters wouldnt let me see the movie because of one bullshit ass grocery bag I was carrying. Pacific Theaters just lost a regular customer for life so I vowed never to come back to Pacific Theaters in Lakewood until theres more cooler and more chill staff. When I went Edwards Theaters, I saw the new Star Wars movie over there instead. And they didnt mind carrying a grocery bag. But they have to do bag searches which is cool. I might come back to this theatre to see the movie Dont Breathe on Friday before I go to work.

Pretty good theater in the Carson area. This is my 2nd showing here, first was last year for Avengers 2 which was also a good experience. They have good soda options, including Mr. Pibb :) and the popcorn is alright. They dont have the butter or yourself stations for your popcorn but its OK I make do. Inside is pretty clean, seats are pretty comfortable, not like the ever increasing lazy boy theaters I keep hearing about. Definitely need to find one of those. But as for this theater, its a good night out, good amenities, surrounding restaurants are also good and parking is plentiful.

The seating is comfortable, and its a well kept theater. But its pretty crowded during peak hours and its probably the most expensive theater in Long Beach. The worst part it its not even a real IMAX. It has an IMAX projector so the picture is super clear but it doesnt have the giant sized screen that goes from ceiling to floor like a real IMAX has. And even though it isnt a real IMAX they still charge IMAX prices to see a movie in that theater. So I do not recommend seeing anything in IMAX but the regular theater is nice.

I love this place. I buy coupons on Ebay and use them here. I pay for any show $6.50 to $8 depending how new the movie is at all times of the day. I also get A small Popcorn free when I buy a large soda with coupon. I pay A $2 more and get a large with refills. Stay Away from the Subway in the food court there. The subway there has very rude employees and will not take there own coupons. Just remember before u go to the movies, get regal coupons on Ebay saves u $4 or more on each movie. Try to save $$$ not waste it.

Ever since my mom & I were recommended to go to this theatre, its always been a great & enjoyable experience! I really appreciate the staff and managers respect and hospitality for providing necessary accommodations in a quick amount of time for my mom who is disabled." That is a testimate to great management and compassionate people! Thank you so much!!!! Unfortunately that isnt the case in all theatres. We travel a little bit to go to this theatre but Edwards Long Beach 26 & IMAX Theatre makes our day worthwile!

Great theater and nice place to visit. This location is clean, impressive, and has great image/sound quality. A big bonus for us is that the courtyard just outside has a relaxing area with a fireplace, chairs, and a play area for the little ones. If you manage to get there early (like to buy your tickets to a busy showing) its a great place to hang out. Sometimes the parking can be a bit stressful if the shopping center is busy but I think this is a common issue in the area.

Edward used to be my only place I would go for movies that has since changed to Harkins at the Cerritos mall. The place used to be impeccable from cleanliness to customer service. Im not sure what happened but it doesnt feel the same anymore, theaters are dirty and seats stained. Update: Returned only because I was given a gift card for my birthday...This is definitely one of the smallest IMAX screens you can see...however, audio *Surround Sound* is still superb
