I had the most horrible experience at the this theater, today. Never have I heard of theaters checking your purses. It is not only unprofessional but extremely insulting. I came in today and was instructed to open my purse. I refused, and I was told that if I didnt comply, i would not be allowed to enter, although I had already purchased my ticket. After deciding to comply, I opened my purse as did the people with me and of course we didnt have any weapons, recorders or outside food. I expressed my disapproval to the manager, Enrique, and was met with pure and utter dismissiveness. He couldnt care less. He offered no explanation, nor a shred of decency. When I asked him for his first and last name, he gave only his first and refused his last citing it was personal information. However, truth be told, as the manager not only should he have given his last name but he should have also offered a business card. I further let him know my displeasure and mentioned that the cashiers window should notify people that their purses will be checked so that they know PRIOR to purchasing a ticket. I am a frequent moviegoer, and I have never been treated so poorly and with such unwarranted suspicion in my life. The $7 matinee prices are not hardly with the trouble. Id rather pay the $11.50 matinee prices at a more courteous and reputable theater. No to mention their screens very small in comparison to other theaters in the movie theater market. I felt as though I was sitting at home watching the movie. HORRIBLE experience. DO NOT waste your money at this theater. And the manager, Enrique, is in need of a few customer service courses.

Horrible customer service. My daughter complained of an earache during a movie there and started crying. I had to leave the movie to take her to urgent care on a Friday afternoon since I wanted to avoid the possibility of an ER visit in case it got worse that night. I was the only adult with 3 young children and my older son was upset that we had to leave in the middle of the movie. I spoke with the manager Alyssa about the situation (with my daughter crying by my side) and asked if we could return to finish the movie later. She was rude and informed me that they have a policy of no refunds or vouchers 20 minutes after a movie has began. She was very strict on this policy even after asking if we could just return after urgent care to just finish the last part of that specific movie. She stuck to her guns and so I will never return to this theater. I tried to contact the theater online since i couldnt find a corporate number and they havent written me back after 2 weeks now! I didnt even get to finish the movie we paid for! Today I went to AMC and paid to finish seeing the movie with my kids. I just cant help but think AMC would have had better customer service in that situation. Frustrating because I always try to support smaller operations.

I had a bit of money saved up late last year to watch The Hobbit: Battle Of The Five Armies here and I loved every minute of it. I was still new, moved down here, and needed a distraction to take my mind off of troubles. This place is very clean, the staff is quite helpful, and the ticket booth agents are extremely knowledgeable. I still find the concession prices a bit moderate but they did have coupon deals which I took advantage of that time. A small drink and popcorn was fine for me and didnt cost that much with the coupon and the seats in the auditorium area my movie was showing was comfortable. Come for the coupon deals and matinee prices when watching new movies - youll save money!

The movie was ok ,to get my tickets was fast and the girl that charged me was friendly . It was until I got to buy my popcorn I got this rude girl that got my drinks wrong I asked for wild cherry icee and she for me blueberry so when she came I told her excuse me I told u wild cherry and she looks at me and says shittt and I was like :O did she just said that out loud .so I waited for her to come back for about 3 minutes that seemed longer :/ when she finally got their she didnt even open my box to put my drinks and popcorn she didnt say thank u or nothing .so I was a bit disappointed:(

Excellent theater! Its been a while since I last went to a theater without assigned seating, but for the price, that mild inconvenience is totally worth it (this place is $6 cheaper than the Arclight in Pasadena that I used to frequent, and even more so for matinees). My only complaint is that all the screens are on the first floor, and the only restrooms are on the second floor. Weird and inconvenient, but not nearly enough to take a star away from my score.

This is my go-to theater, and I drive all the way in Pasadena (about 20 minutes away for those not familiar with the area). Its definitely not as clean as the AMC at Westfield Santa Anita, but $6.50 matinee tickets (prior to 1p.m.) are hard to beat. Definitely a good spot to watch just-released flicks with your friends simply because it doesnt get as busy. (random side note: you can purchase edamame at this theater as a snack)

This place is very nice. Clean and the staff are courteous and nice. The movies are second generation with some visual anomalies, but overall it is a great place, and reasonably priced place to see new movies. My only pet peeve is that they should have different types of foods. Not everyone lives off of greasy, massively buttery popcorn and sugary beyond belief sodas. And, high priced water.

They search your bags like they are the TSA or something, they seriously suggested that we might have an explosive or a firearm. Also the place reeks of mildew and clay cat litter, and the seats are so uncomfortable I have to shift my weight every 5 minutes. I would rather pay more and just go to AMC, disappointed doesnt even begin to describe my experience here.

So this theater used to be an okay spot...now it just sucks. the kind of people this theater attracts are inconsiderate college pricks and annoying ass poor families looking to take 8 to 10 kids with them. If you really want to enjoy your movie going experience and be immersed in the film just go to Edwards in La Verne. Stay Away from this theater.

Good prices for movies, the usual high prices for food, courteous staff. Ignore the one poor review. The little girl got way too indignant over having her purse checked at a theater less than a blocks from 2 colleges. Theaters make their profits from food and drink sales, so naturally the management may want to check some purses. No big deal

This theater is well kept, clean, good priced, and a good atmosphere for the whole family. A word to the wise, the theater will check bags and purses upon entry to the theater. This is for security reasons as well as to make sure you are not bringing any outside food into the theater.
