Coming from North Orange County and normally going to either AMC Fullerton or AMC Puente Hills Mall, AMC Norwalk is very poor in contrast. The Norwalk location has cheap, awful recliner chairs. They dont fully recline or even medium recline...THEY BARELY RECLINE. They are very UNCOMFORTABLE for my 510" size. If you sit up, which you shouldnt do in a recliner, your lower back may be comfortable, but your upper back and neck are UNCOMFORTABLE. If you sink into your recliner, like I do with mine at home, AMC Fullerton and Puente, your neck and upper back are comfortable, BUT YOUR LOWER BACK STARTS TO ACHE! DONT BOTHER PAYING FOR RECLINER CHAIRS AT AMC NORWALK 20!!! Then go into the bathroom...EGAD!!! Liquid all over the floor, you must walk on liquid in their bathrooms and...NO TOWELS, NO TISSUE!!! Do it right at AMC Fullerton and Puente Hills Mall, the recliners fully recline, your legs are parallel to the ground, not 30-degrees from vertical like Norwalk, your ENTIRE back and neck are comfortable at a cradled horizontal position with your head slightly elevated, not just 25-degrees past vertical like Norwalk, the arm rest fully stows away for couples to hug or hold hands together instead of protruding into shoulders and backs by about 8-inches like Norwalk, and the seats are much wider than Norwalks by about 6-inches or more...and they maintain their restrooms very well with never a time even one tissue or towel bay is empty. Their floors may be sparsely wet here and there, but you dont have to walk everywhere in liquid like Norwalk AMC 20. Dont go here, theyre not doing it right, from their recliners to their restroom maintenance, they have and are taking short cuts every step of the way!!! 1☆ = Poor, never again...

FUBAR! The worst, most frustrating movie theater I have ever tried to purchase a ticket at. Turned me away from guest services even though I was trying to get handicapped seating. Sent me back to the line outside (long line because people must choose seats and beg for seats already purchased) People argued and then when it was my spot to purchase tickets al ready too late at 20 minute wait time, some was allowed to cut the line in front of me, and was asked to wait yet again -even longer for a "premier stubs". I went in to see the manager who said "sorry, Ill check on it." AND walked away to check on it. Leaving me there to get even angrier. WTF I am so feed up with the idiot, lazy ass service staff who dont have a clue how customer service is supposed to work and do not know how to handle problems and yet are who are behind the customer service desk and answer to the title of manager! We are good loyal customers who have attendedicated many movie marathons (Oscars, Star Wars, Hobbit) but I will not patronize a theater that treats paying Stubs patrons this way.

Unfortunately, my experience here was not pleasant. I arrived here a bit late, I admit, about 7 minutes before the film I had come to see was supposed to start. There was a line, but not a very long one, so I thought I might miss the first 5 minutes, but thats no big deal. So there must have been something wrong with their payment processing or ticketing, but it took about 15 minutes per transaction. By the time I got to the head of the line, the film was supposed to have been running for 15 minutes and if it took as long for me as for everyone else it would mean that Id miss most of the first half hour of the film. They were also taking people from their special club line ahead of me, so there was no telling how much longer everything was going to take. No explanation of what was going on was ever given. I gave up and went home. I figure that if I have to wait, I might as well wait for the film to be on Netflix or Amazon Prime. I hope its not like this all the time here. But I dont think Ill ever be back.

For the Walmart Man of steel screening I was sitting down with my little bro and sis reserving seats and this stupid wanna be tough guy just walked up and sat down in one of the reserved seats for my family. My sister asked him nicely to move these seats are taken. He got all violent so I told him you better move or else I will get the manager. Well after that I went outside to cool down and the guy went outside like he was looking for me to fight giving me the look and signs. Once again I told the Amc manager and that he kept harassing my little siblings. Now you would think by now that they would have escorted him out but no she calls public safety and they did nothing. As I returned to watch man of steel that a hole was sitting behind us and was kicking our seats. I swear never again maybe it takes someone to have a weapon for the Amc authorities to take action.

I have 3 good things and 2 bad things to say about the theaters here. First is that if there is a long line in front of the theater you can go inside and buy tickets at the customer service counter, most people dont know about that. Second is that unless it is the 1st weekend of a big movie, it wont be sold out and its easy to get a seat. Third is that they happen to have a pretty good selection of video games in the lobby if you happen to be there early. The 2 bad things are that it does seem the theaters and restrooms are more dirty than most other theaters Ive been to, and 2nd is that the IMAX screen at this theater is really small compared to the price you are paying. Its way better to find a big IMAX screen at other theaters instead of watching on this normal sized one.

RECLINER SEATS!! ... and a BAR for those that want to relax even more with a beer while watching a film! Every time Ive gotten a drink at the bar, the bartenders are AWESOME! Ive gotten a few Recommendations and they have all been great! They never disappoint! Also if your an AMC stubs member, you do get points for alcohol purchases! ;) the restrooms are clean, the theater itself is clean, and the theater seats is very spaced out so your not super close to other people around you. I love that this theater separates the chairs higher up each step so if someone sits in front of you, it wont matter because you will definitely be able to see the film, the way the theater is set up. I will definitely be returning.
