The West Valley has long needed a great, friendly, knowledgeable shop. This place is it. Family owned and very personable staff who know what makes saltwater hobbyists tick. I dont make a lot of money, which can be disheartening in a hobby where spending could be limitless. However, this place has great deals on certain things, especially clownfish. Beautiful Mochas for $10! Also, I remember how intimidating the learning curve was (and still is) for newbies. The staff here will answer any question without making you feel like a moron. She even showed me the back room where they breed their clowns...just because I had a simple question. I could hang out there all day. I do wish they had more vatiety of inexpensive frags, because I just cant spend money on the coral I REALLY want :) Its been nice to see this shop steadily grow. Keep up the hard work!

I loved that they were getting ready to close ,and Charles took time to talk to me and showed me all the fish that he had, he is very kind and, sweet I would recommend them anytime .The night I was there I had my two children with me and my daughter was so excited she didnt even want to leave the store she wanted to take all the fish home with her theyre very knowledgeable people and, I definitely will be going there in the future to purchase my next fish or fishes that I want. He spent two hours talking to me about pretty much everything about saltwater fish I have been into saltwater fish since 2003 but it was nice that whatever question I had he has an answer for it. Charles is a very good proprietor. I purchased almost all of my equipment from Charles at Saltwater Junkies for my DSA NEO65 build. Charles went out of his way to price match everything without me even asking for him to do so. Ill continue to do business with SWJ because in my world customer service is still what matters. The manager with black hair, is such an arrogant jerk and could care less about any questions customers have and the other one with the beard is very FAKE. Saw him outside the store and he was a complete JERK to some one, while sporting a saltwater junkie shirt. I will never go here again.

The largest Coral Selection and the best prices I have seen around the entire Phoenix Metro area. Staff is friendly and immediately are willing to help. Very chill place. And the guy with the beard is NOT a jerk. He was absolutely helpful, polite and friendly. I will be back soon.

The fist day I was there I was given all the information I needed to take care of my own tank. They gave us a tour of the place and helped us make decisions on the coral. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Maybe a little too exited doing their job, but definitely great place and people.
