I love the Kentlands its absolutely a wonderful area and very calm, my family and I have never been to the movie theater there despite the fact that weve lived in Gaithersburg all our lives and Rio movie theater is about less than 10 min away which is where I have usually gone but here in the Kentlands the movie theater is small which isnt bad the only bad experience we had was dealing with the cashier Jeremy he looked just under 20 years old so maybe this is his summer job, but he had a horrible attitude with a client that wanted popcorn in front of me and when It was time to pay I asked for a military discount he told me they did give it but then he didnt add it to our transaction and then didnt even let me know until I found out later when I was looking at my receipt, so when I confronted him about it he gave me some made up excuse not to mention how he was having trouble the machine because it ran out of paper roll to print out our ticket/receipt and through the plastic piece on the floor and said "F***" right in front of my family and me... Thank God I didnt have kids with me and we were all adults there, I dont mind paying full price but he had bad customer service, didnt seem pleasent for someone that has to greet people coming in and can clearly tell he does not like his job but I had a good time being with my family (which was just cousins and my husband) and watching the movie, just wish my first experience at this theater would have been better.

This is the third time I have experienced technical glitches at this theater. Previously the sound wouldnt work or the screen coloration would be off and the movie had to be restarted. Today I came to see the Manhattan Short Films Festival movies as this was the only theater in the entire state playing the shorts. The sound checked out, the color checked out, but NONE of the foreign films subtitles were working properly. The management fumbled for about ten minutes attempting to remedy the issue to no avail. Needless to say I am in a long line of people waiting for a refund. This theater has a lot of potential but the management needs to get it together.

Very nice neighborhood theater. Their tickets are at least $2 less than other theater in the area, friendly staff, no long lines, plenty of parking, and many shops and restaurants nearby. My son had his birthday party there last year in December to watch Stars Wars the Force Awakening with his classmates during the 1st weekend it was released. I called around different theaters and were told they wouldnt do parties in December, esp. for Star Wars, which was sold out already. But Kentlands would do it, everybody was happy. The parents were more thrilled than the kids:) Thank you Kentlands! Our favorite movie theater.

We were looking to bring our 10yo baseball team plus siblings and parents to the theater for Sat night showing appx 20-25 people. "No deals or group discounts...sorry." REALLY? Wow, guess business is booming because we could have brought and EASY ~$250 in ticket sales + >$100 in concessions. Note to Management: Might want to consider group packages especially if you want to compete with chains. Could be a real differentiator for you.

Ive lived here a long time and had never been to this theater until recently. My friends an I would always go to the Rio theater, as we assumed it was better. But this place was a pleasant surprise. Its never too crowded, and you have all of the other Kentlands shops to go to if you want. They have stadium seating, and currently they say reclining chairs and a new food menu will be coming soon.

This place is a little older, but it functions. Two things could improve: a little more attention to cleanliness (its not filthy but not exactly spotless) and solving various minor technical problems (such as screenings not starting correctly). A serious renovation may help matters but that would probably also raise ticket prices.

Blue-Eyed Angel

Its gotten run down over the years. I saw a movie where there was tape hanging over the top of the screen. Also they have been promising reclining seats for quite a while with no delivery. Snack selection is abysmal compared to other theratres. Paragon has a chance to make it a great theater again but instead not much had changed.

I never knew that kentland had a cinema! I was by the area shopping at micheals and walked down to five guys and notice a theater. Of course I went and watched the sausage party ! LOL! Must say i am pleased with the customer service.Shout out to Nathaniel and Jeremy real nice guys! Great Environment! Keep It up..

Lyric Mania

Location is easy to get to, right in the heart of the Kentlands. The popcorn comes in small sizes, but it tastes good. Inside the theater is also a cafe, a nice touch. Before the movies, instead of prievews, they play country music, which is not a favorite. Overall, very spacious and comfortable enviornment

A decent neighborhood movie theater in Kentland, Gaithersburg. Watched Find Dory with kids and had a good time. It has been advertising leather reclining seats for more than a year but did not happen. $6 Tuesday movie is a good deal. Hope they can get better and compete with the big guys nearby.

I really enjoy the new 6 dollar movie night on Tuesdays! Me and my friends dont always have the 12 dollars it takes to go see a new movie, so this is something that really fits me. Though the movie theater could be in better condition at times, for the price and fun I have, I couldnt care less.

It is a quaint theatre. Fairly small and a little outdated but for watching a movie it is just fine. Best thing is Tuesday movies because all tickets are only 6 dollars. Could use some remodeling but the sound is nice and loud and it does the job.

Pretty old theater used to go there when I was a kid. Sometimes they dont play they movie on time so you have to wait or go tell them but staff is friendly and its cheap so I go there when I want to watch a movie and not spend to much.

Great, easy experience. My girlfriend and I went there 10mins before the movie began and had time to get snacks. Movie quality and seating were fabulous and we had a great time. Staff was helpful.

Small theater with very few patrons. Dark and dreary, and no automated ticket check-in. Must print and bring tickets beforehand or re-buy at the door. No cell service or Wi-Fi in the building.

Love this theatre. There Tuesday special is the best around. The only thing holding me back from a 5 star is that it is small and an older theatre than the others in the area. Still great.

Nice neighborhood theater, easy to get to, great sound system and big screens. The 3D theater is fantastic and very helpful staff.
