So I just recently just went there with my 1 year old and wasnt very pleased with my visit. The front desk staff were nice, but then you get to where you can go get your photos and "WOW" what a change in attitude to even how you are greeted. I wasnt greeted by the photo staff not once, they were busy granted give them that, but they didnt even have the curtsy to stop what they were doing to say "Hey were currently doing something, sorry about the wait well be right with you as soon as possible." Not a single word and there was 3 to 4 people behind the booth, one just sat there looking at me, before turning around and leaving. Id probably not come back to this place, nor tell people to attend this place due to the staff. As the old sang goes 1 person tells 1 person, that person tells another and so forth and so forth. So yea Ill be letting it be known not to expect much if anything at all from the staff. My child also wasnt given the activity book or goggles either which shed probably have enjoyed if she had received them, but due to the staff that didnt happen, the people in front of us received the goggles and activity book, but yea... never again. Sorry not worth the 18.00 dollars spent to go into the aquarium exhibit. Youd much be better off spending the money that is asked of you at the Zoo over this place.

So, our family is from Chicago and have been to the famous Shedd Aquarium there a few times. In some ways, SEA LIFE Arizona outperforms the Shedd. This is certainly a "kid oriented" place. Its not a traditional aquarium youd see when going to a big citys museums. And maybe thats why it struck a chord with us. I loved the displays and how many of the exhibits had the ability to sort of "step in" to the tanks, either by their concave glass viewing windows or by their personal domed windows that kids can crawl into in order to appear to actually be in the tank with the fish. The glass tunnel walkway near the end was spectacular. Sharks, turtles, fish of all kinds swimming to your left, right, above, and below you. Just an amazing visual experience. Try and go during "off peak" days/times if possible. Toward the end of our visit, large school groups came in and it got REALLY loud and much more difficult to move around and see the exhibits and read the signage. It was a really fun experience for our 6-through-12 year-old kinds.

We love this place!! The only other aqaurium weve been to was the one in long beach which we didnt really like at all. I ended up getting a annual pass to sealife and we go once a week by daughter is 2 and loves it. She loves the current wave in the beginning and how she can go and look in the round dome glass tunnels. The staff are super nice and if you have any questions with anything or you want to know something about a certain fish theyll help you out with no hesitation they also reallllllly take care of that place too, we went there this one time and there was a guy in full scooba gear in the tanks with the sharks and the rays. Etc hand scrubbing all the rocks and and cleaning all the stuff in the tank. Its a pretty big aquarium and its in a huge mall. Well go to the aqaurium they stamp our hands and well go through and then walk around the mall and then go back in with our stamp. I do think their little fish merch store is overpriced but the aquarium itself is awesome.

This place does not have stroller parking lot and plus if you want to use the restroom and park the stroller outside , they will let the security officer of the mall to take it away. It has happened to me and I complained the issue to the manager Bill and he said that is part of the policy to make sure no bombs inside the stroller. that is the most ridiculous explanation i have ever heard. if they so worried about the security why not putting a security check for every customer. and i was with my toddler inside restroom only for few minutes. Then he showed no intention to correct issue instead try to drive me away with blank promise . he told me he would make sure my stroller will not be taken away , well did he take picture of my stroller or anything so the staff would know next time? it has been such a disappointment. have been the anuual pass holder for a long time and enjoyed the acquarium so much but seems the management has been changed not friendly to moms anymore.

Let me tell you: from the outside it doesnt look like its going to be as amazing as it is. This place is unexpectedly huge, or at least they do a great job of making it look like it is. You can absolutely tell that everyone working here is very passionate about their job. Theyre so helpful and knowledgeable. One thing that stood out in particular: As we were going in, the person in front recommended we spend some time in the Octopus Hideout, because the octopus is somewhat shy and also because she wouldnt be there after Monday. So when we got there, my wife really wanted to see the octopus, but she was hiding somewhere. Patience prevailed, though, as my wife sat down on the rocks by her tank, and eventually she came out to say hello. It was really surreal, as so many people were dismissing the octopus and moving right past, but it was a really beautiful experience. Her name was Bubbles and she was adorable. By far one of the most memorable experiences of my vacation.

Nice assortment of sea creatures, and several stunning and fun tank designs. My two year old had a blast looking into the aquariums from within the "bubbles," and also particularly enjoyed the small play area at the end. I was not thrilled with all of the Octonauts branding, particularly the extra-loud cartoon playing in a nice little theater where there were also coloring supplies. My son wanted to color, as toddlers will do, and so the adults perforce had to sit in there with him and wait, unable to converse over the high-volume show. With that said, that particular show is definitely thematically appropriate for an aquarium, and if it helps get kids interested in science, I guess I can put up with some cardboard standees and people in mascot costumes in front of a photo op wall. Overall, the six of us who went together, ranging in age from 8 months to over 60, had a lovely time, and even learned some things.

Eh. Bought tickets online which I recommend as it saves money! But when me and my friend got there we were a bit confused about how to enter as the lady never instructed us which way or that the doors would eventually open after a video, we never got a logbook or goggles, even if we are adults it wouldve been nice to receive them for the price we paid. It was fun and interesting though because I mean its an aquarium !! and we loved that we could touch the starfish and other animals but wasnt much, I know ther sealife places like one at MOA lets you touch sting rays and baby sharks but oh well! The place was very informative and staff told very intriguing true story about the sea turtles Ziva and Cora, which we loved so much we bought turtle necklaces at the end.. The staff working by aquariums were very friendly and informative unlike the staff working at entrance and exit!
