This theater is horrible! The staff seemed to have no clue how to run a business, and were very unprofessional. We witnessed some attitude from the employees, and they had an employee missing who was supposed to be starting the movie. Instead, they said she was on a break in her boyfriends car (which is not okay to tell a customer) and she would start the movie as soon as she got back. The theater was disgusting, we even had to wipe popcorn off of our seats before sitting down. We sat there in an empty theater for about 40 minutes without commercials or anything playing on the screen. When the movie finally came on, 45 minutes after the starting time, they left the theater lights on. The manager seemed annoyed when we said we wanted our money back, and never once apologized. I will be finding another theater in the area.

You can tell this is the only game in town when it comes to movie theaters. While the facility is large enough to satisfy a number of movie tastes, the facility is aging poorly with not so diligent or attentive care to upkeep. Some screens are torn, the bathrooms are perpetually smelly and dirty (or permanently hard water stained mixed with ?) the carpet has been repaired with new squares and it is beyond obvious, since the latter is new and the existing is worn and faded. The seats are another matter, they are old and burlap in text and I wont even guess the last time they were cleaned as they tend to smell after a while inside the theater. The management has changed a lot in the recent years and that might explain some of it.

Theatre used to be under Carmike, but recently changed to AMC. Since then the theatre has raised their ticket prices and food prices. They also cant seem to manage the schedule of movies efficiently. Three times we have been back; they either sold me a ticket for a movie they knew they werent going to show due to "technical difficulties" or they show a movie that we didnt pay to see. Tonight we took our boys to go see Spiderman, but they showed The Mummy which containes nude scenes. The youngest of the boys is five and the oldest is nine. The managing staff apologized again for their incompetence and offered to refund our ticket price. However, the damage is done. We wont be going back there again! Three times is enough!

Whoever is running this place now knows what theyre doing. The staff seem to be on their toes, the movies all start on time, and Ive actually witnessed some obnoxious movie goers get escorted out. Plus theyve updated the place not too long ago. New carpet, new seats that actually recline now, new wall coverings in all the theaters and new wallpaper. They also updated the menu to feature much more like pizza and pretzels, etc. Plus the place seems to be kept clean a lot more. Still not the cleanest, but I mean, its albany. I havent had a bad experience here in the last year or so, and I go quite frequently. Overall, Id say 7 out of 10.

I recently spent a week in albany, GA. To kill time I went to the Carmike theaters two nights. The first movie I watched started 35 minutes past the scheduled start time and the second one started 40 minutes past the scheduled start time. Most of the pre-movie was spend with music, a portion with commercials, and a repeat of the same stuff. There were perhaps two movie previews and the rest was inane filler. One couple started to leave after 40 minutes of waiting for MI4 to start, but came back as the movie started. I suppose one solution would be to show up 30 minutes later then the schedlued start time.

My family and I have been attending this theater for years (from out-of-town) and have never had any problems. Its in a great location, lighted sufficiently, the atmosphere is great, police on duty for added security if a situation arises, the staff is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable, the game room is stocked with decent games and operable, its clean and smells fresh; this includes the bathrooms which is a pet peeve of mine. Its a theater not a restaurant so with that being said, the food choices are good but very pricey. Showtimes are set at good times to please everyone.

Standing in the concession line, when I do not intend on buying anything and because there is no one at the ticket booth selling tickets, just to buy tickets to a movie isnt good way to start the movie experience. None of the signs outside the theaters to show you what movie was playing inside were lit, but after deciphering the ticket, we made our way. If it doesnt get any better, or it gets even worse, I will save my movie money to spend on a home theater and a popcorn machine! If it gets better, I will gladly change my review.

If you need to speak with someone, dont call. They never answer....day or night. Costly as it is for viewing and snacks they should at least answer the phone. Especially when you are in the room and the previews arent playing yet. I had to leave and go tell an employee. When they finally stared to play music was also playing...so had to get up again and walk all the way to front again. I just wanted to watch a hood movie and at least get my moneys worth because I love going to the movies.

I Went to purchase two tickets for my friend and I but my friend mistakenly left I.D at home. After the cashier told me we couldnt get two tickets because my friend didnt have I.D, I told her to only do one ticket because my friend was going to watch something else. She instantly started to assume that we were going to try to sneak in and got her manager involved. I immediately left even after paying for the ticket and I dont even know if I want to go back ever again...

had a power failure yesterday (19th Jan 2013) and instructed upon leaving to hang on to stub and return today for an exchange or new tick for the same or different movie. Needless to say, I returned today for a refund, and received neither. However, was instructed to hang on to my stub. I guess the management plans to use the fact that I did not use my stub today it wont be honored. Will complain to my credit card company.

I love going to the movies. I go every Tuesday night because the price is cheaper. Wynnsong 16 have upgraded a little you can now enjoy your movie with different varieties a food also you no longer have to sit in them hard and comfortable chairs now you have chairs that you can lean back and get comfortable. They also have unlimited drinks now. So if youre bored and have nothing to do go to Wynnsong 16 and enjoy your movie.

This movie theater has recently changed from the Wynnsong by Carmike. The marquee is now missing from the front of the building, the one that tells you the movies and times, so thats a real bummer. Also the fountain drinks are $6. They do have a free club membership that will give you discounts though. Also your tickets stubs are printed out on cheap register paper, so you cant kept them as keepsakes.
