I walked into the store looking to purchase 3 fish, no one asked if we needed any help finally when we did get help, I was asked to hold the bag while Peter I guess the owner tried to catch the fish I wanted, i was soaked by the end of it all. Not to mention he looked like he was on drugs, sweating, and could bearly speak. I got the fish home and two of them died on my along with one of my own fish. When I called back to let them know my fish dead Peter and tj started screaming at me over the phone and than they called my husband an asswhole and said we shouldnt help you. This place is in horrible condition the ceiling tiles are falling down and the ceiling was leaking please go somewhere else if you want to purchase fish or any other animal please. Lol if this is how tj wants to respond lets talk about how Peter is continuing to have to shut and move his stores because of the drugs being sold out of the buildings he rents please. Lol I definitely did not try to become physical at any point in time with either one of these people in the store at all Peter came at me while I was leave and I would have been willing to listen if I wasnt being screamed at by the owner of the store which Im assuming is Peter not tj. If this is the why you can justify the way you treat people that come in your store that is horrible and the fact that you would lie about someone to justify what you did smh this proves that you did come at me when I came in there I told the truth about your store facts that is if you dont know the truth please grow up and the next time you guys go in there PleAs beware of the falling tiles. Also owners of stores dont retaliate I was stating facts.

Id give this store 10 stars if I could. This was my third time in and ever time it just gets better. The owner is extremely knowable about everything he sells and often runs deals. The last time he gave he such a deal on plants that I bought way too many. They were sturdy and healthy and have grown like crazy. This time was the best though. He was pouring out brine shrimp for me to take home to feed to my fish and he spilled some on the floor. He immediately knelt and I thought he was cleaning them up so no one would slip. No - he couldnt stand the idea of them dying slowly on the floor and was putting them out of their misery. The animals, even the tiny brine shrimp are treated with respect and kindness. How can you NOT want go back? The tanks are sparkling clean and the fish and birds (he has a big blue & gold macaw pet and some young conures and cockatiels that are for sale) are friendly and in beautiful condition. The macaw was happily chatting with himself and eating a huge strawberry today. Its not a fancy store, but it is clean (except for some spills near the fish tanks} and he has a huge selection with more coming in all the time. He also has a lot of tank, some are used and you can get a great deal. Its worth coming in just to see the beautifully healthy animals and visit with the macaw. :)

These guys really know what there talking about. They run a absolute amazing store. I bought a short body cherry dragon flower horn atleast grade AA at an amazing price. These guys truly beat competition and bring in some of the most exquisite fish in phenomenal condition. Everything in the store is at your highest expectations. You couldnt pay me to shop somewhere else. If you have not visited this store you need to get theres as soon as possible because you are waist your time and money with other hole in the wall pet stores with little knowledge on the stock. -THANK YOU WORLD WIDE PETS

The people here will always out of their way and the extra mile to help you and your pets. Awhile ago I found (Yes, found) a Cockatiel and after not being able to locate the owner, we rescued it.) Knowing absolutely NOTHING about birds, these guys were always happy to provide great and sound advice, even directing me away from higher priced items to ensure I got the correct item. They are definitely about the service and not the the $$$ sale. Great place, great employees...and say hi to Buttons! (The resident Macaw.)

Gmaps took me to the Whalley ave. side of the building but they have moved to the Amity Rd. side. Their sign isnt up yet as of 1/7/16 which makes it even harder to find. Im very glad I took the extra effort to find them. Inside, they are still moving but should look pretty good once they have everything setup. Why five stars? Excellent freshwater fish selection, top notch customer service (friendly and knowledgeable staff), and online price matching. Bottom line; it is worth the effort to find.

Worldwide Fish and Pets is second to none! Pete, the owner, always goes the extra mile to make sure you have any info you need and really knows his stuff. You will never get this kind of treatment at any other pet store. They have a great selection of freshwater fish and all of the supplies you will ever need. Great shop with a great variety and fair prices. Stop here once and youll never shop anywhere else!

I am sitting here watching the fish scramble around my new aquarium as I write this review. THANK YOU Pete and TJ for advising my on setting this up. These gentlemen are very knowledgeable, patient and thorough. You can tell that they LOVE what they do and I think they live, eat and breathe all things fish! Great selection of unique and HEALTHY fish. I wont go anywhere else.

Worst place you can possibly go to dirty , a dump . Manager (Tj) was so rude I was a new pet owner I was going to purchase a guinnie pig and he was so aggressive with his answers he made me feel uncomfortable they were under a bird who was pooping on the other Guinea pigs . Owner peter is always out of uniform, sweating , and way too aggressive .

Looks (exterior) can be deceiving, go inside and be AMAZED at fresh water plants and fish choices. So different to find real expertise from a team who pick up INCREDIBLE selections from importers at the airport.Love these guys for the serious fish breeder too. Chemistry, artistic layout no problem.

I received a coupon in the mail for a free beta fish and 2 free goldfish. I came here on 2 different days and both days, they were not open. It says on their website that they open at 10 am. It is currently 11:44 and no one is in the shop. Very unprofessional, waste of gas.

Best selection of freshwater and saltwater fish in the area. Absolutely amazing service by TJ and Pete who run the shop and truly care about their customers. I got into aquarium hobby with their help and helpful tips and only get fish from their store.
