I am used to smaller and more quaint movie theaters, so I am not comparing this establishment to some of the more modern 18 showroom IMAX theaters. I waited until after my third visit to rate this establishment. I now see that this place actually has hired security, particularly one guy. This is the first movie theater ever I have seen to have a security guard. A security guard armed no less than a policeman would be. As with most establishments these days there are plenty of cash registers but only one being operated by a skeleton crew. I paid for a 3D ticket on my third visit but apparently watched a 2d movie on a projector that sometimes turned all the black areas pink. I just assumed that I had accidentally walked into the wrong room but checked and both the entry way and my ticket said Auditorium 10. In my last three visits over A months time, the automated drink vending machines have not had the empty selection of drinks refilled. Like I said this movie theater is quaint but it feels like it is falling victim to its location in town and the economy. Which shouldnt be a surprise as the movie theater just 2 miles away and right across from the Rivergate Mall closed down from lack of patronage. If they maintained the equipment and hired some more staff it might make the place seemed a little bit less sad. Then again it just seems like this establishment was built in a place where there just arent a lot of moviegoers. Only movie theater I know to have a guy dressed in black head to toe and armed with a gun and OC spray that walks around the lobby sizing people up as a walk in. Sure doesnt make the already drab place seem very inviting. It would seem to me that his somewhat jarring presence at this theater is discouraging moviegoers from returning. Who wants to go back to a dying theater with tiny showrooms that has an armed Mall Cop looking you up and down as you enter and exit?

I just watched The Revenant at this theatre today at the 5:05 pm show. There was something beeping repeatedly throughout the movie that I believe was related to the emergency exit door. The majority of the movie included quiet scenes and the beep was a constant distraction. About one-third of the way through, I informed an employee and let him know exactly where the beep was coming from. He said other people before me had already complained and that they were letting the manager know. I saw additional people get up during the show who looked frustrated who came and went, and it seemed as if at least some of them were also alerting the staff. About halfway through, my boyfriend went to speak directly to the manager who could not be located. My boyfriend waited on him and missed more of the movie and finally gave up. We stuck it out, and I never observed any employees coming in to try to find the source of the noise. At the end several people sitting around us acknowledged that it also ruined the movie for them. The beeping may not be a regular thing, but the fact that no one working there appeared to make any serious attempt to take care of it will make this my first and last visit to this theatre.

I dont recognize the theater that many are reviewing. While this theater is not the most modern, it is clean and the concession prices are the high prices Ive come to expect (but still dont like). As a result, it is rare that I buy from the concession. However, I will buy from the concession stand if I really want something. I chalk it up to the cost of eating at the theater. I rarely go to other theaters, but assume the price of concessions at the more modern, up-to-date theaters are more than at the Wynnsong. Someone said they paid $17 for a small popcorn and coke. Really? Perhaps they wrong up an incorrect price. You should have double checked the posted prices with the prices you paid. I am taking my granddaughter today. The only thing I do not like is having to purchase my tickets at the concession stand.

Dont like movie theater concession prices? Come here! (not cause its cheap. It isnt.) They dont seem to care about carry in food. Only had something said to me once and they let me take it in anyway! We always bring in steak n shake cause its in their parking lot. Long long lines due to buying tickets at concessions, even if you dont buy their food. No self serve fandango machine. i dont think they clean between movies. Usually enough trash to have to search for a clean section. Especially hard for later showings. I dont think they check the bathrooms either (see picture). They should take a page from walmart and do it every 30 minutes. So gross.

This is an alright movie theater. The parking lot is not very well lit. The prices are a bit more affordable though. The building itself could do very well with a renovation. The seats are worn but comfortable and the screens feel small. However, if you just want to pop in for a movie that isnt worth a farther driving trip then its a good option. They have an annual popcorn bucket you pay $20 upfront then $4 for a refill after that. So, thats pretty cool.

My family and I visited the theater yesterday. I had never been there before but I will definitely return. Its an older and smaller than the newer places that I have become accustomed to , but it made no difference in my viewing pleasure. It was clean, the staff was friendly and the price of a movie ticket was less than the other places. Again, we will be returning to this place more frequently. Keep up the great there Wyndsong.

The Rivergate area is really going downhill. My friend and I used to like coming to, what used to be called, Wynnsong because the movies were always so empty that we were alone most times we saw movies there. The theater and service are great. But her car got broken into and her belongings scattered, when they realized it was only her used workout clothes. Scary since it was dark and we didnt know if they were watching us.

Great movie theatre!!! Good place to watch up to date movies... If you are going to complain about concession prices then go Imax or Indian Lake heck or any other theatre.... Concessions is how this place survives.... I will continue to watch movies here.... This place has been here for most of my adult life and lets be honest if you are old school then the two previous Rgate theaters were dinosaurs compared to this place.....

It was awesome. I usually go to Opry Mills, but Sunday I went to Wynnsong to see Creed. The prices for the matinee were cheap, the concession stand was very reasonably priced, and the staff were almost better than the movie, they were so darn awesome. We will be back!!!!!! This is now our new movie theater, keep up the good work. (Betty, Kim, and another sweetheart) made our evening a great one.

I highly recommend this theater. It is a completely different place than it was about a year ago. The theaters are clean, the employees are very nice and helpful and the managers were extremely professional and social. They always thank you for coming to their theater and besides our movie not starting on time once a few weeks ago, our last few visits have been absolutely wonderful.
