We enjoy this theater and almost always go here for movies, but I have one major complaint. If I purchase my tickets online and print them at the outdoor kiosk, I dont want to then have to go inside and wait in line behind people who are purchasing or picking up tickets, just so that I can have my ticket torn. They need to have a person posted who tears tickets for those customers who picked them up at the window or outdoor kiosk so that those customers can go right in. Today we went to see a movie. No one was at the window. No problem; I printed our tickets at the kiosk. Then when we went inside, we had to wait in line for over 5 minutes behind people who were purchasing tickets. There is no reason I should have had to wait. This completely defeats the purpose of being able to print the tickets at the kiosk. It was a waste of time that could have been spent purchasing our concessions. I asked the gentleman at the desk why I had to wait just to have my ticket torn and he explained that every ticket has to be verified. I completely understand this, but they should provide an employee to do this job. As a result of this, by the time we got out of this line, purchased concessions and got into the theater, previews had already started. Not a huge deal but we do like to see the previews, and for people who like to miss the previews and come in just as the show is starting, this poses an issue of missing some of the movie. Do better, AMC.

The theater is great. I love the fact that each seat is practically a recliner that has an electronic reclining system. Plus, they have reserved seating, which really takes the stress out of finding good seats for a date. However, my biggest complaint is with their service of late. Recently, I tried to purchase two tickets to a movie my girlfriend and I both wanted to see. The showtimes did not show up on the website, so I called to ask when they would be available. On the phone, I was told that the times would be posted later that night. They never were. After two days, I called again. This time they told me that the times would be posted the next night. I reminded them that they had told me differently days earlier. They apologized and said the manager would post the times soon. And he did post the times, of a different movie. After calling a THIRD time, I was finally given someone who knew for certain when the showtimes would appear. He was correct, however actually buying the tickets with their online ticket-buying client was for some reason not possible, so now I have to travel to the theater personally and buy the tickets. In summary, while the place certainly looks impressive, the service can be frustrating. If youre thinking about going here, but easily become frustrated with inadequate service, think carefully.

I went on Memorial Day afternoon so take this with a grain of salt. Great product. Understaffed. Ticket booth and concession stand ridiculously slow. Adjusted for amount of customer traffic, the AMC Owasso 12 seems to have more staff. Several people had problems with self-serve ticket kiosks. So much glare on window to ticket booth, it was difficult to read movie times and seat charts. Elderly and low income customers overwhelmed with complexity of choices, gift cards, and rewards cards. Reserved seating fine but seat numbers difficult to see after lights turned down. A tiny lighted number that cant be seen when facing the screen would help. Any time you sell a large amount of fountain drinks, the staff needs to regularly monitor the syrup, water, and CO2 mix. When staff fills the drinks, they recognize the look of the product when the mix is off. When the staff cant even see the self-serve product, too much water or not enough fizz can be overlooked. Especially, if one or two concession staff has a line of 20 people, and drink customers would miss the movie to come back and just mention it. Online presence needs to say show up early to get tickets, the reviews say that but theater needs to say it.

Am no longer a regular customer of AMC Southroads due to their new reserved seating which I find utterly ridiculous and very frustrating! Have been forced to sit right next to talkative moviegoers and cell phone users which has totally ruined my movie experience. I tried moving to another seat only to have to again move because I ended up taking someone elses reserved seat. Almost left the theater shortly after the movie started and wanted to ask for my money back! Another time I attended a nearly sold-out show with three friends and due to that reserved seating, we were unable to all sit together because we couldnt get four seats all together unless they were way on the side almost to the back of the theater and we didnt want that type of seating. Also, personally I am not one bit impressed with those new fancy seats thus leading to much higher ticket prices. I would prefer to have the old AMC back with reasonable pricing and allowing customers to sit wherever they please! I dont mind the higher ticket prices as much as I do that awful reserved seating! Please! Do away with it! This longtime regular customer will not be back as long as you have reserved seating!

Poor service and poor experience! Was sold tickets to seats that were to be a viewing at 1010p today and was told that our tickets were for yesterday. The only viewing was at 7p yesterday with the movie Wonder Woman and was sold tickets to a 1010p viewing yesterday. The movie didnt fully open until today. Was kicked out of our seats and offered seats in the front row. My daughter and I both have vision problems so that was not at all accommodating to our needs. So before the movie even began we asked to have our money back to get a different show time and was told that the movie had already began and we couldnt get our money back. So ya, we got vouchers! The problem is, I dont get that much time with my child and I cant get that time refunded..(that is besides the point), the point is we were punished because of an error on the movie theatres behalf were treated poorly and patronized by the children working the theatre when trying to seek resolution. I have no recommendations. We were sold tickets to a non existent showtime.. I would never recommend this theatre to anyone whos inquiring about my experience.

Ive always appreciated this theater for showing a wide variety of films (some not shown in other theaters). But in recent years it appears that this place has turned into a gathering place for ghetto hoodlums (who I assume walk over here when the mall across the street). This is fine, I dont even mind their being loud and obnoxious in the parking lot, the ticketing area, or even the lobby. However, this behavior continues when they come into the actual movies. Gangs of little hood rats hang out there not to watch the movie but to socialize (loudly). They come and go as if it was their own private auditorium, running and stomping their way up and down the aisles, And no, you cant just go sit somewhere else because they are EVERYWHERE and their behavior is distracting no matter where you sit. This behavior is really obnoxious and really gets underneath my skin, especially for the price I have to pay for a ticket (>$8). Management really needs to figure out a way to control this, because it is a nice theater otherwise.
