This theater brings back so many memories from growing up in the Breeze in the 1980s. The "throwback", small-town feel of this theater is refreshing. The owners are friendly and welcoming. Beware: If you are looking for eardrum-splitting THX sound and IMAX like effects, you are wasting your time. If you want to watch a movie, with the option of food/beer, at a great price ($6.50), then this is your place! Tree House is a perfect place to catch that flick that you might have missed when it first came out in theaters. The owners do a nice job of balancing a few independent, lower budgeted films, with the mainstream blockbusters about a month or so after their debut. Tree House is everything that the mega 18 screen theaters of today are not. The reasonable prices at the concession are worth the admission price. It is a wonderful place to take a date or the family.

Nice little cinema, tucked away in a corner of a strip mall in Gulf Breeze it is easy to miss. However, this theater shows many of those foreign and indie flicks you will not find playing at any other theater in the Pensacola area for some reason, and is also one of the few theaters Ive been to around here that serves wine, beer, and coffee. Tree House Cinema also hosts some great film festivals, and their free anime screening nights are a lot of fun. One of my best memories of this place was of Halloween 2015, seeing a screening of the classic silent horror film Nosferatu with a live band from Austin playing the music. I hope this theater continues to show many great films and host many great events in the future.

Tree House plays mostly film festival, critically acclaimed, and cult classic movies. Ticket and concession prices are reasonable. Its located right on Gulf Breezes main drag. The theater is small. I like its vibe. Its a low-key atmosphere, in contrast to a place like the Rave where your senses are assaulted with lights and arcade noise the minute you walk in the door. I much prefer coming to Tree House than anywhere else. Its a treat to see one-night only showings of favorite cult classics on the big screen as a break from my usual at-home Neflix experience. I hope Tree House stays around, as it adds a unique local entertainment alternative to the usual options.

If youre looking for independent cinema, this is the place to go. The Tree House Cinema is the only location in the greater Pensacola area that youre going to be able to view most independent releases. Its located in a strip center (which feels a little odd, but seems to go with the quirky nature of most films you might see there). The interior is not very well maintained, and some of the theatres have loose cabling hanging down from the ceiling entering into the projected frame. The staff is very friendly, though, and prices are extremely reasonable—it was $8 the last time I went (to see The Lobster). American Express not accepted here.

Im not sure who owns this place, but Im pretty sure its just someone who loves movies and isnt worried about those huge movie theater chains. It does not have the huge IMAX screen or recliner chairs, but the theaters are cozy, the tickets and food are cheap, and the movies are new. Their combo names are things like The Stormtrooper or The Sean Connery in a salute to the classics. It gives the place an authentic vibe. Finally, the staff is awesome, and the $3 beers are fantastic. Oh, and they show old cult classics from time to time... Which is awesome.

Awesome little venue right in Gulf Breeze proper for those of us looking for the foreign/indie flicks you wont find anywhere else around here. They also have some of the movies the larger theaters have, and at the same time, not 2nd run. They arent as busy as the bigger places - Ive been to movies during the week with less than 10 other people in the theater. Typical theater food, but you can also get beer and wine!

Staff is friendly and attendant, ticket prices are fair, concession prices are super fair, loving the atmosphere in the lobby, beer and wine selection is pretty great, and movie variety is better than anywhere else, including free anime screenings fairly often. I would be surprised if anyone didnt enjoy their time at this theater! Thank goodness I live within only 10 miles of it! Everyone else is missing out ^_^

A local treasure, especially if you care about viewing artistic, creative, indie movie options outside of the large theater chains showing only mainstream blockbusters. The prices for the movies as well as beer & wine are reasonable with an easy-going, comfortable atmosphere. Great date night option or a group movie followed by a dinner to discuss script or camera technicalities... シ

We have really enjoyed seeing the movies offered here. The seating is comfortable, the sound is just right.... doesnt leave you body humming for 30 minutes when the movie is over, like some of the surround sound theaters. The owner works the theater along with some of the best customer service people. It is our go to place if we want to see a movie.

The prices are great, the movie options are fantastic, and the atmosphere is very cozy. I absolutely love this place. Food is pretty good, love that they serve sodas in glass bottles. They also hold special screenings and sometimes do weekly anime specials which I think is pretty spectacular. 100% recommend this place to all of my friends and family.

This is a great little theatre. Never packed like the others and I always feel comfortable when watching a movie. The tickets are cheaper because they usually show movies after they leave the bigger theatres. They also have special movie and anime nights. I saw Akira and Back to the Future, which were both great on the big screen.

This is just about the only place my husband and I go to see movies these days. The prices are good, popcorn and beer are great, seats are comfy, and they show almost all the limited release films we are looking for. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the place is always clean and inviting. :)

Best small cinema in Northwest Florida. Whether visiting or a local, you must visit for a perfect movie viewing experience. Prices are half the multiplex places for same or better movies. Wine, beer and usual theater treats served here. On a budget? Go during the 4:00 p.m. early bird show time.

This is, by far, my favorite place to go in Gulf Breeze. Its a local theatre with a friendly atmosphere. It feels very cozy and domestic and the staff is the most incredible movie theatre staff I have ever encountered. I would highly recommend coming here with the family or a date.

Very nice cozy movie theater. My husband and I went as a Sunday afternoon date. It turned out really nice. The place has a seating area where u can have some wine and some snacks before the movie. The prices are great also.

Baring in mind this in not a big franchise place, this little gem is perfect for a low cost family movie. Before 6pm, I believe, is only $6.50/ticket and a nice small, quiet place to see the latest movies.

Thank God for this place. . . lots of "little" movies are too good to wait for, and they seem to know the ones to show. Support the arts, peeps! Sound system is much improved from a few years back too.
