Each time I have been to this theater I have remembered why I dislike it. The place looks rundown and shabby with uncomfortable seating. I refuse to see any 3D movies here because the last 2 times I have the glasses have not worked properly with the screen and they are very heavy which causes me to get a headache (I have what is called scalp sensitivity and heavy glasses, headbands, and ponytails cause me to get a headache due to the pressure). Prices arent really that good, however it is a lot better than the Oakwood Mall theater in Eau Claire. The popcorn is never really that good either. It is always stale and they only ever put a little butter on the top rather than in a couple of places throughout the bag.

Workers were rude. Only let in the theater 5 minutes before movie started, were never told why. The 3d glasses were dirty, dont know if they have ever been cleaned. Lights were flicking the whole movie, did tell someone but they never fixed it. As we were waiting for our movie, saw people get mints on there way out. We were not offered anything and the person taking tickets looked so unprofessional leaning on the ticket tower talking to a co-worker. Not a very friendly or professional environment. Will not be coming back or recommending this place.

Very clean, moderately priced for a movie theater these days, friendly staff. My one complaint is that the bathroom is beyond the lounge so if you were in a theater on the far hallway, it would be a long trek for a little kid who was too into the movie and now desperately needs to pee. I get why it is laid out that way, but it isnt the greatest for those with small bladders. :)

The Olson family is doing great job with the cinemas in our area. I love being able to buy and drink a beer during the movie in Chippewa, and the snacks are a fraction of what they charge at the Carmike cinema Oakwood Mall (nothing positive can be said about that place). The Eau Claire theatre has recliners, which makes a great experience!! Theatres are the cleanest around!

Went to see Jason Bourne expecting the "Jesus Christ, Its Jason Bourne" line from all the memes. It never happened and I was so upset it was the worst movie ever and I was so upset. After I saw it I hated all of the people that were involved in removing that line it was the only good part of it and they ruined it. But its a very good theatre I guess

always had good experiences with this theater and staff. Modern (from what I can tell) and clean. We typically go early to beat the crowds and get lower prices. Havent tried the new "restaurant" yet, but may in the near future. They also have a free membership club you can join that can help get you free stuff. The place is well worth the money.

Went to a movie and the theater was full except the front row, decided to leave and the manager exchanged our tickets for a later show time! She also told us to bring our cups and popcorn bag back to refill at the later show. With service like that we will always go back there!

Its a family owned theater, they take pride in the service and appearance of facilities and employees. Offer good deals on concessions and love the Thursday early releases of new movies. If your a movie lover you will enjoy visting micon cinemas at all 3 of their locations

Good theater. The movie quality is great. Prices are terrific, on tickets and concessions. 50 cent kids movies during the week is such a great feature. And they host a lot of local events. Easter is particularly fun for the family. Im glad we have it here in town.

Best theater around. I drive 20 minutes out of my way just to go to the Chippewa Micon over the Eau Claire Micon just for the larger screens & nicer lobby/facilities. Ive never had a bad experience here.
