So great to have a four- screen independent cinema in mid-city. Lovely renovation, good sight lines, great sound and comfy seats BUT... the exit sign spills way too much red light on the screen and the projector hanging overhead makes way too much noise and needs to be enclosed somehow. Sorry, but if these two problems dont get fixed, Im going to have a hard time enjoying movies here and wont come very often...

Just the best. A beautiful, organic amalgam of our beloved (if a bit ratty) old Movie Pitchers, and the sleek, modern likes of Canal Place (without the exorbitant prices). Show up early, have a cocktail or a beer... maybe some dinner. Talk to some friends. Get your popcorn, and get your seat in comfy, intimate theaters with modern screens and sound. Truly a gem for the movie-going the community in New Orleans!

We love this place! My girlfriend and I go here all the time. They have a focus on indie films, but mix in some mainstream movies as well. The beer and cocktails are delicious and the popcorn is buttery. And there are rotating pop ups throughout the week for more eclectic movie snacks. The staff is super friendly. The chairs are comfy. Perfect little neighborhood theater!

They need more staff. The staff needs to reflect the neighborhood. They need to work faster and the younger needs to talk less and work more. Its ok when youre busy not to provide more personal attention. Tickets and concessions should not mix. Did you lose money by not being properly staffed day after Christmas. A lady offered to work you should have said yes.

Small, cozy theater with interesting menu selection, full bar, and solid selection of both mainstream and independent films. In general, I like this theater slightly better than the Theatres at Canal Place, though I wish they had larger screens (but at the same time understand why they don’t). Rotating food selections by third-party vendors is a cool model.

Good prices on concessions, family friendly but also date-night destination, some nontraditional concessions, bar, modern theaters and a mix of wide-release and some art house selections. Less swanky than Canal Place and but higher quality than most of the options in the metro area. I love it that there is now another option in the parish.

I love having a movie theatre in my neighbourhood, with reasonable prices, plenty of parking (or, a bike ride or even walking is possible), and mixed drinks in containers made of actual glass. It is extremely civilized to have interesting adult beverages for ones sipping pleasure, when attending a film with ones grown daughter

I love this place and its such a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. Great selection of main stream and independent films, small modern theater feel, delicious nibbles offerings, and a full bar and social area. As far as Im concerned, its the only movie theater I would go for happy hour drinks even without seeing a movie.

Went for a Sunday matinee but the theater was busy and only had registers open for ticketing at the bar. Next time I would like to get there extra early and order a beer or two before the show, or if time were too tight, buy tickets online. Bar space looked awesome and I really enjoyed the comfort and layout of the theater.

Excellent films being shown...I will see all of them! And the great interior that has just the right touch of movie theater elegance with just the right modernist touches too. Great bar, and organic pop corn. Easy parking, but I could easily walk. Remember the days of the neighborhood movie house? Theyre back in MidCity.

I like the small intimacy of the theater. More importantly it is located in a community that has been bereft of a theater for years. There is parking but you get there easily by the RTA. The staff seems able to adapt to the wide variety of people who come to see popular movies close to home.

Super cool theatre with a seemingly eclectic mix of film screenings (big budget and art house fare). I thought the bar out front was pretty great and found the screening rooms to be real comfortable. An entirely satisfying experience that I (surprisingly) wish I could find back in NYC.

The Prytania is my favorite theatre in NOLA; nevertheless, its always a pleasure to catch a movie at the Broad Theater. Theres usually at least one interesting mainstream or independent flick here at any given point in time. The snacks are yummy & the staff is super sweet.

Wonderful local theater with great selection of films and really good popcorn, too. To be honest I love all popcorn but this place does rule. Wine and drinks available, too! A much needed addition to the local New Orleans business landscape and a cultural boon for the city.

Lots of food pop-ups and great movies. I love going to a matinee because theyre cheaper and theres always a seat. Buy the tickets online before the show if youre trying for a fri/sat night because Ive frequently gotten there to see that a show is sold out!

This is a great spot! Nice bar, small theaters but more screens than youd expect from that outside. Seats are very comfortable and large. Saw suicide squad here but would love to come back for their more independent offerings too. Will definitely return.

Seriously awesome place. They have the normal movie theater concessions plus great drinks often themed after the movies and a great selection of beers. They also do a bring your own baby movie every Thursday. Great mix of blockbusters and indie films.

Very cool cinema. Smaller, individual theaters for showings include comfy, pseudo-leather chairs that can recline some. The other thing that sets this place apart is the bar you can buy drinks (mixed drinks, beer, wine) from to enjoy during the show.

This theatre is great! I do not remember what we saw here. It is very lowkey, nice, and the staff were friendly. The refreshments are also considerably cheaper than a mainstream move theatre. I definitely plan on coming back regularly.

A newer theater, great for smaller films that might not have a wide release. Parkings a bit tight, but the concessions are actually fairly reasonable, and they have some interesting treats that you dont usually see at a movie theater.

I love this theater. Plenty of parking and indie films shown here play for more than a week as opposed to other theaters. Reasonable prices on tickets and eats. The cherry on top? They have certain days of the week for food trucks

Enjoyed our trip to see a movie at the Broad. It is a comfy small theater with comfortable seats and ample leg room. You can buy mixed drinks and beer to relax for the movie along with the regular concessions.

Great experience. Bartender can make a good drink. Friendly staff. The sound system in the theatre was really impressive. The seats were comfortable, the screen was nice. Overall a great movie going experience.

Not located in the best neighborhood but a charming theater! Updated seats, lighting, sound, and screens. Someone spent alot of money to make this place look that good. Plus a full bar and food trucks.
