I read the past reviews and I plan to attend the showing of one of the films today. With that said, I have loved this theater since it opened with its, jewel colors, retro design and superior luxury. This is the finest theater on the coast and these nuances adds to enhancing the film goers experience. Or should I say the (PAYING) publics experience. The management must remember this but I still enjoy the process of going to the movies and I know others, my age, do too. The mangers should take every opportunity to make each and every film goer, feel WELCOMED. That means making sure that ALL employees know its their duty, responsibility and expectation to work and make a customer feel welcome in exchange for their pay and perks. Things I see for improvement are as follows; 1. STOP THE TEXTING AN USE OF PHONES DURING THE MOVIE. How? By having the manager monitor the crowd either from the projector room or security cameras in the theater or by designated person. Once you Identify the person they must go, no second chances. Im sure if a customer complains, management takes action, but so far I have had to ask people on two separate occasions, seated in front of me, to stop and they did. 2. The ODOR is TERRIBLE. You and I both are breathing that moldy, mildew smell. I dont care what it costs to fix it. Just fix it, its your business. 3. The parking lot MUST be patrolled by POLICE not security guards and they must have more that two in the lots especially at night. During the day they MUST have one. A CUSTOMER should have a reasonable expectation that their car is protected when visiting your business. If not, then you failed to take a reasonable precaution to protect the property of a patron at your establishment. 4. The bathrooms are clean they should be monitored for paper products more often. I still like this theater. Thanks

I worked here for a few months. Even before my job there I never enjoyed the experience and I only learned why after working there. They do not train their staff and expect everyone to automatically know what to do. The staff is told not to clean but to sweep enough under the seats so customers wont complain. Theaters actually get cleaned only once a night. Managers despise dealing with customers. And the food is unsanitary. I personally have seen workers sneeze in the food and still sell it. The state of the film is never checked unless multiple customers complain. Even then it takes forever for someone to fix it. The bathrooms are disgusting and only get quickly looked at through the doorway maybe once a night if that. Even worse is cinemarks need to under staff on busy days and over staff on really slow days. It takes forever to get anything done. I was fired on the accusation of getting intoxicated at work but the truth is I dont do that. I have many health issues that I informed them of on hiring and even provided medical documents to confirm it. On the day of getting fired I fell and split my head open because they neglected to put wet floor signs up. I had a massive concussion from hitting the concrete and had to get stitches. They said I was drunk and it wasnt their responsibility. Im under the drinking age and dont do drugs. I feel seriously wronged by this job. Many customers agreed I was a top worker especially for never being trained because none of the managers wanted to take the time to come out of their office. Long story short if you go there for a movie prepare for a mass facade and overall bad experience and if you work there prepare for the worst unjust treatment in your life as well as being stereotyped so much you can barely focus to do your job.

I wish I could give a 0 star review. I travel the United States and have been to a lot of movie theaters and never seen one like this. This place is ridiculous just ridiculous. I went to take my cousin to see a movie Im 24 Years old. He is 14 years old.I was told that he has to be with a parent to see a movie. I am his guardian. The movie started before their so called curfew but ended after. If they are going to be this rude they need to have it posted on their website. I went the night before with no trouble. I do not think anybody at that movie theater knows the curfew They just act like it. Because The guy at the ticket booth told me several different excuses. In every one did not make sense. He said he needed to see my cousins id I told him he is 14 he does not have an id. He said well then I need to see yours so I showed him my ID in that still wasnt good enough. He said my cousin needed a parent with him. That is ridiculous. Most movie theaters you need to be with someone over 21 to see a movie after curfew or are r rated. Im fine with that and that makes sense. But not this place.

I took my family to this venue for a nice family evening, because we had some horrible unfortunate events to happen earlier in the week. After watching the movie we came out to our vehicle and it had been vandalized. I went in to talk to the manger, the staff was very rude including the manger. They had no compassion or sympathy! They quickly informed me that they were not responsible!!!!! They did not even offer to call the police! I called Gulfport PD and when they got there the officers were very nice and comforting.... They stated to me that I was not the only person that had made reports of their vehicle being vandalized! He stated that after the first two calls they patrolled the parking lot and noticed all of the vehicles that had been vandalized they were just waiting for the owners to call and report it. I asked him why they want to do anything about it and they stated that Cine mark are not willing to cooperate like they should.... Vandalism is a big problem at Cine mark every weekend. BEWARE IF YOU VISIT AT NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

The people selling tickets just cannot get this one thing right. I go there once a week and drop off a family member who is autistic, and enjoys the children type movies. Each time I go with her to purchase the tickets and ask when the movie lets out. EVERY SINGLE TIME they get the time wrong. It is at least 20 minutes earlier or 20 minutes later than the time the tell me. And the look directly at the computer screen to tell me the time. Once I complained on their website and a manager made some sort of excuse for not being able to tell the exact time. My son works at a movie theater and he says that they just dont care and are not doing their jobs because there is no reason why they cannot tell you when a movie lets out. They need to know that in order to clean the theater. So beware, if you drop someone off and plan to pick them up after, it is just a guessing game when they will truly be let out of the movie.

If youre above the age of 16 and actually plan on watching the movie that you pay for, do not go to this theater! The roving bands of children and teenagers, texting, fighting, screaming, talking and running at full sprint in and out of movies will make this place unbearable. My last experience at this theater was when I told the staff about the unsupervised disruptive kids and I was told that they would not remove them from the theater. So, I walked out and never went back. The children are dropped off by their parents, who then leave and they are completely allowed to go crazy in this building and be as disruptive as they want to be without one stitch of action taken from the management. Horrible movie theater. Horrible staff. Horrible experience! Its worth the drive to DIberville to steer clear of this place.
