Well, just as I was praising the place, we went tonight and waited 50 minutes on a medium pepperoni pizza and didnt even get a "Im sorry for your wait", or a "Thanks for your patience". WOW!! Im 100% for sure they forgot about the pizza, cause people that had ordered 20 minutes after us got their pizza before us. They couldve said sorry and I wouldve been just fine... they couldve given me a discount or something and I wouldve been a happy camper, but to totally disregard my kids having to wait that long for their pizza is just totally unacceptable!!! When I went back the next time, pizza didnt take as long and we werent forgotten, so overall its a good place to go as long as they dont forget your order!

I truly miss the Riv! When I went to college in La Crosse, I enjoyed coming here for the movies and great food! This place has so much character, nothing can compare. The prices are hard to beat and I love the fact that the place is a converted theater. It has so much character! Plus its one of the only places you can eat and drink alcohol while watching a movie! I miss the pizzas! Someone needs to invent a teleporter so I can keep going here!

Awesome place! Go there for sure. It is perfect for a date. The only thing is that there is no AC but is definitely fine even in the middle of the summer. Go to the main theater, the other theater is creepy and not worth it......It looks like a porn theater. But if you are into that type of place go to the little theater. The main theater looks like a castle and is amazing. Super cheap drinks and food. A must stop in La Crosse!!!

Im not used to getting beer with a movie where I am from, so I thought that was pretty sweet. Pros -Reasonable price (spent $20 on 2 tix, large beer, Mt Dew + M&Ms) -Table to set your things or stretch your feet on -Walking distance from downtown Radisson/Holiday Inn (La Crosse center) Cons -Movie didnt start on time -No AC -Mens bathroom a little funky, too Ill be back

This place a great if you want to eat cheep food, candy, and drink beer while watching a movie. The seats are ok and the theater is ok. I have had my ticket refunded twice because of technical difficulties, but overall its still a good place to watch movies, though not a premium place. Pizza, two beers, and two tickets cost about $20.

Good pizza, decent beer selection, really neat vintage theater and affordable ticket prices. The new online ticket purchase option combined with the ability to call and reserve seats/order food in advance is wonderful, well worth the $2 extra fee. I loved this movie theater back in my college days and I love it even more now.

Love coming here! Its usually crowded but thats because they have good discounts on movies! They serve Pizza and other dinner foods, soda, beer, and more! Its a must go! One movie theater looks like a play theater set-up. Although the bathrooms are scarry its an awesome place!

I liked this theatre because of the historic atmosphere and great selection of imported German wheat beers. The only negative was the condition of the hallway to the mens room. Needs simple spackle and paint. Otherwise the popcorn was great and the staff friendly.

Great place to take the family to watch a movie. Pizza is excellent and they bring it to your seat/table during the movie. Taking the family for pizza and a movie is about the same price as just a movie at the larger theaters.

I personally will wait to see movies at the Rivoli over other theaters in the area who screen movies right when they are available. Prices can not be beat and they serve alcohol and food, great movie watching experience

If you get over the poor audio system, this is THE spot for watching movies without feeling broke afterwards. As a bonus, they serve reasonably priced beer, pizza, and lots of other stuff to get your through the show.

The Rivoli really is the best. The prices of the movies cannot be beaten. The snacks and concessions are priced fairly and the pizza is pretty good too.. How could you not enjoy pizza delivered to you during a movie?

Pizza is very well made, good beer on tap and solid new sound system makes this a date-night slam dunk. Get there early because it takes time getting tickets, ordering food and settling in.

A lot of options to choose from reguarding food and drinks, the pizza is very good, an the staff is too. and you can get refills on the popcorn during the movies. that is my favorite part.

Great prices, theater has its own character, and you can get some pizza while watching your movie. pizza is not served till after the movie starts so be patient.

Moldy odors. Makes one think about the overall cleanliness. The shows play ontime. Old dated concept seems still a good idea. Needs repairs made.

Good price, but the seating in the small theater is GROSS, best to walk in when the lights are dim so you dont know what you are sitting on .

For $20 bucks you can get two tickets, a pizza, and drinks. You just cant beat that. Why pay $22 dollars just for tickets anywhere else?
