Worse experience ever - Went to the theatre last night (Tuesday), waited in line at the concession stand for 10 minutes, when we got our food and got seated in the theatre, we open the hot dogs and theyre hard as bricks. Movies already started but we go to take them back and were told that they dont have any prepared (There werent many patrons in the theatre). Asked them how long it would be and the manager (Ari) told me that it "would take a lot" to make them and itll be about 20 minutes. Since were in a 2 hour movie, I told her we would wait. I knew she wasnt pleased that I was willing to wait but theyre my husbands favorite. She told me shed bring them to our theatre for us. 35 minutes later, I return to the concession stand (missing more of the movie) and the hot dogs are sitting on the counter and the manager is talking to the cashier. She dismissed me as if I was being a burden to her (the MANAGER, ARI), proceeds to tell me that because of corporate they dont have enough people and Ill just have to understand. Meanwhile, I passed 3 managers (all very pleasant) walking around before I even got back to the concession stand. She threw my money on the counter without a care for the fact that I had missed about 30 minutes of the movie in the back and forth. AN APOLOGY for ruining date night with my husband wouldve gone a long way. This "MANAGER" has no customer service skills and is a stain on the image of this theatre. The worst part was that she addressed me this way in front of the young cashier. Way to train your people to meet (never mind EXCEED) guest expectations. Since when is the customer irrelevant to a business. It was a 7:00 movie - why was the theatre unprepared to deal with their guests ? I would guess this wouldve been their peak period when theyre best customer service wouldve been exhibited but instead we received the opposite. I too will now drive to ANY OTHER THEATRE BUT THIS ONE.
I enjoy the theater for what it is but here is the major issue I have. For how much they charge my experience should really be much better. They are always understaffed. On a Friday or Saturday plan to get there at least a half hour early because there will be a 15 minute wait to get tickets and another 15 minute wait to get food. They are never fully staffed no mater how long the lines get they will only have two people selling tickets, I never understand why place put in all these windows and registers that they NEVER staff. If they are backed up really bad at concessions you are screwed. Its just not set up for being busy, the cashiers have to stop and do things like take pizzas in and out of the ovens. Managers will jsut stand there watching this not helping at all. In fact I have seen managers actually slow the process down as they bug the workers as they are trying to get through a rush. Now to the reason I am writing this. Tonight I went to see a film showing in the Regal Cinema RPX experience. They sell this as a premium. $16 a ticket. First let me say the picture and the sound are amazing, no complaints there. Whats not amazing is wandering into a theater that I just paid a premium to be in, that is sold as a premier high end movie experience and finding the the theater trashed. Popcorn and trash all over the place. I actually had to remove trash from the seats.
I went to the movie theatre at the loop kissimmee, purchased 3 adult ticket and 3 children, had my baby right in front of me. ($61.56)went inside purchased food ($38.24)upon going to enter the movies, i had purchased 1 adult 3 kids for vacation and 2 adults for straight outta compton, the usher called management to advise us that my children couldnt see vacation alone (when the ticketing guy had told us"just like to advise you the movie is rated r but if you authorize and walk them in they can see it")also that my spouse and i couldnt enter or rated r movie with the baby. We requested refunds for everything, management was rude and didnt apologize for anything, didnt try to accommodate or assist us better, only asked ticketing guy then returned to tell us he didnt see the baby. Now we ate still waiting on the credit to be returned to the card, this was by far my worse experience, to think i was going to go to another theatre forest then choose this one since it was closet although more expensive. Worse management and false advertising because ticketing shouldnt have allowed us to purchase the rated r tickets, now we ate inconvenienced on top of ruining or day out with the family, we have to wait for the credit back which is not or fault the cinemas dont train well enough to inform movie goers.
Why bother going here. This is my first Google review EVER. The employees at this place reflect what management cares. ZERO!! Id give this place a MINUS 5 review if I could. Went to this movie theatre purchased one ticket and the people in the theatre didnt allow me to sit anywhere because they were holding the seats "supposedly for someone else" When I approach management that I only wanted one seat to watch my movie, the on duty manager GIZELE could not care any less and didnt even bother to address the issue or go see what was happening at the movie theatre. It became an excuse and a yada yada, Since I knew I wasnt going anywhere with her. I asked for a FULL REFUND. That was the better choice than to address the issue. I also asked for the contact info for the GM whose name is KEN BRODIE I sent him an email of the issue and a constructive response to help improve the situation in case it happens to another customer and none has been returned or acknowledge that they are aware. I do not want an apology or free tickets. I have also let REGAL CINEMAS know at their headquarter at the time of this review none had responded.
Land of the hipsters. Often used as a daycare for underage kids whose parents fail at being parents and would rather leave their children in a place alone than actually spend time with them; only to get overly irate at the employees when their children go missing and the employees have no idea where their children are. You would think paying for high price on this theater could improve the quality and experience, wrong. Regal Cinema The Loop 16 & RPX isnt large enough to have an IMAX they just decorate one of their rooms to look like one. Creating an illusion of a IMAX when the room hasnt been designed or upgraded its equipment and resolution to the minimum IMAX standards. Hipsters cant tell the difference between 1080i and 1080p they usually go for quantity over quality, that why you see so many of them in the weekends. If you dont mind paying more for lower quality, hearing crying kids and be surrounded by hipsters and miserable employees than go all out. But if you enjoy good audio sound and full HD resolution than I suggest to find another theater.
Bought tickets for my kids to see "IT" with their friends (party of 6) only for the staff to turn around and say they were too young to see the movie and refused to let them in! My kids are 17 and 19 years old!! Are you F-ing kidding me?? After arguing with the stupid lady about what the legal age was to watch a rated R movie (the law states must be accompanied by age 18 yrs, lady said 21yrs, lol) So I decided to get a full refund and take my money elsewhere, same with their friends. Glad we ALL did because we found a better, nicer, and cheaper theater down the street! Touchstar Cinema Southchase 7. Touchstar was more than happy to take all 6 in, giving them preferred seating with reclining chairs and even discounted their tickets for our previous experience at the Loop!, like their tickets werent cheap enough! I just found a new theater thanks to the rude staff at Regal Cinemas. I highly recommend skipping this over stuffed, unfriendly theater and take your money elsewhere!!!
