Admittedly the designers of this course did not have the most favorable landscape to work with, which is why the question has to be asked, why build it? The 11th hole is a good example, dogleg left to a blind green that is 50 yards lower than the fairway. Be sure not to hit your drive straight into the 12 tee box. The only par 5 on the course has a 10 yard wide landing zone which the cart path takes up 2 of those yards. The 17th tee box sits 6 inches from a road, and you drive into a ravine that is sloped to the woods. The only redeeming value is the great view of downtown Cincinnati from the 5th green. The staff is truly what makes this course unplayable. The course is under new management, and their slogan may be “we don’t need you on our course”. For a better golf experience go to the driving range. Update October 2015, new management, very friendly, only reason to play course is to meet the extremely outgoing manager.

The course is beautiful and very well maintained. The view from the #5 green was neat, but there were a lot of trees obstructing the full city view. I was warned by a staff member to keep my drives in the middle of the fairway at about 200yds and I found out why very quickly (4 lost balls later). Great price for the round I played, will definitely return.

Avid golfer here, played this course while on a golf trip with some buddies. Not your run of the mill course and tests accuracy off the tee box. You will likely use an iron of each tee (if youre playing smart). Nice change of pace from your average "country club" type setting. This course is now in my top 5 list, highly recommend.

Too hilly and not well suited for a golf course. Agree with other reviewer. Definetely plan on riding it. Massive distances between holes. Well posted to get around though. And it does look beautiful, even with blind greens.

Great course I only pull my driver out twice played the hole day with irons off the tee box. Very beautiful day temp was mids 70s course was pack. Im looking forward to playing it next time in town....... Glasgow , Ky,

Ive played this course off and on for over 50 years. I loved it when I caddy there as a kid and still love it now.

Great staff working there. Its a bit hilly and challenging but its a fun course. Dont plan on walking it though.
