BEDBUGS on CHAIR Was in town and thought, what the heck, would check it out. Went inside. Having never been in a casino before, they told me I could not enter the main area. So, I said, is there a place I can sit down, where there is a chair. They showed me a pace in the casino that had a chair. I sat down, and put a finger partially under the chair to hold it as I was sitting down. I then got a message on my cell phone, as I picked my finger up to hold my cell phone, I saw a bed bug on my finger! I squashed it and blood went on my wrist and finger. I was shocked I then got on my cell phone, and looked at pics of bedbugs. I then asked one person there if I could talk to a manger, he did nothing. I then asked a lady, she played the good old "Denial" game. Claiming bedbugs have hard shells. Said if I killed one it would be big. So she basically called me a liar. I looked around and saw an elevator, most of the people going in and out had suit cases. So I assume a lot of people sit in this chair, and at some point it has become infested with BED BUGS. I then asked for a manager again, security came, and once again denial, said it could of came from anywhere. Said i was trespassing because I did not have a license. I told them they need to put that out front and I would not even come in. After this experience, I will never go into another restaurant in a motel, or convention, to much traffic, which could lead to bed bugs on anything inside. And it seems their only plan is to deny any problem. I was told by an employee in Pittsburgh who works at a motel, that where they work, if they even tell anyone about bedbugs it could get them fired. So, do companies offer you clothing or any spray should you come into contact with bedbugs at their facility? NO. They did not me. Go to youtube and view bedbug apoclypse, and you can see how bad bed bugs are, and how much trouble they can be. And only at some place where gambling occurs, where you have old people, poor people, and a hotel, it seems like a very bad mix for bedbugs to me, to not have a plan if a customer states they had one on them, and does nothing. And if they want to lie and claim I brought them in, why did they not immediately escort me out? BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!

Dont plan on winning, you wont. Been trying for 18 MTHS!!! 200$ best hit and I was 200$ down. Staff( except servers in buffet) are Obnoxiously short and rude. I was removed and humiliated from the casino tonight for complaining continuously about the cold food, disgusting bakery bar, many people were disgusted, but since I complained about them stealing my 18.99 and not allowing me to even have a piece of almost extinct cardboard bakery, I was removed. I took ALOT of pictures and witnesses to prove the pigsty. Obviously the last time Ill ever set foot in that want to be casino. But they will here from me again legally for my humiliation, trust me. Folks Im a VERY avid participant at Wheeling Island, please take my advice and boycott them and shut them down. I could write a book about them. In order to post this I must rate them a 1. I dont have the option of a negative rating. The good or great posts on this site, well..... maybe it was the jungle juice. I never drink, was of sound mind tonight. Good luck finding and ashtray or cup of coffee, uppet management walking the floor are EXTINCT. P.S. Had a cleaning person without notice reach over me with her disgusting cleaning gloves and grab my coffee cup to wipe under it, then swept under my feet!!!!! Just got back yesterday and that place is a nightmare! In the span of five mins 7 bus loads of senior citizens arrived so to get the coupons for their lunch and anything else you had to stand in line for almost one hour and then if you wanted a buffet you had to again stand in line to get a number.We were 788. After waiting over an hour we went to one of the small cafes and the food and service was good. The girl giving out the numbers at the buffet would come out periodically and scream at these old souls to get away and only come back when it was their number.She even called security to come and move them.These people were hungry, had nowhere to sit as all the machines close by were filled with others not playing, just sitting waiting too. They herd them in like cattle to get their money but once they are their they do not give a damn. Some of these peoples buses were not leaving until 5pm and they had been there since 10.15 am. The property is in need of repair and although there are quite a lot of machines many are old and what is new are not the quality of machines you find in the larger casinos. Definitely a second rate place.

What casino can you take $200-$300 with you and have $55 in free play twice a week and never hit squat. Well this is the place. I like playing the diamond rings and winter furry with the bonus spins and the u-spin games. Why I have no clue they never pay out regardless how much you bet. I used to play dollar machines, but I stopped that real quick. I was told by an employee they got fined the beginning of summer for machine tightening. I think they might need to go back in and check again because I think its gotten worse since the summer. Then Im there on one weekend day a week and it seems like its always old people being drawn for these weekend drawings they have. I think they need to realize, stop rigging it for just the older generation win and let some of the new generation in on some fun because theyre the ones that are the future of keeping this place in business.

Its a fun place overall but if you plan on being a regular customer and spend decent money be careful. Im a regular player their and usually spend around 500 per visit and have been getting screwed out of my free play for the last 3 visits. Ive talked to player services every time Ive been their and they even verified that they have made a mistake and said that they wld have it fixed immediately and its been 3 weeks. They keep blaming it on a computer glitch and saying that the head of marketing has to fix it, so apparently they never work or just dont care. I even sent an email through the website and never got a response. Its a real shame to because I did enjoy myself their. So just beware and until this is resolved Im going back to mountaineer gaming resort because Ive never had a problem their and anyone Ive known who has had it resolved on the spot.
