I am leaving this review so others wont make the same mistake I did, thinking a brand will always give them the same thing. This was a comped room offered by the casino, so I cant complain too much about free, but we were able to choose from several brands and I chose Hampton because of past experiences. Specifically comfortable beds. Room 406 had the hardest, most ridiculously uncomfortable beds ever. The room was clean and decorated nicely, but I am in actual pain right now because of sleeping on a step softer than concrete. Two other issues. At 4am, I woke up to a strong smoke (fire not cigarette smell) then my alarm (in my room only) went off. I called the front desk to let them know that there was an apparent fire and to alert other guests. Apparently, the power went out and kicked the heater on in my room. Which isnt Hampton Inns fault, but the front desk suggested that this is a common occurrence. Dust built up on the coils always makes a burn smell the first time its used in a while, but enough to cause the alarm? Ridiculous. Since its an area where heat is rarely used, it would behoove them to turn it on in all of the rooms at least once a year. The shuttle to the casino was nice, the driver told us to call 30 mins before we were ready to leave. We called the hotel at 915 pm, and the person who answered told us the driver wouldnt be there until 1130 pm and we had to wait.

Exceptional service....very comfortable accommodations. Newly renovated rooms, decor in hallways and breakfast area. Rooms have refrigerator, microwave and nice sized flat screen TV with AT&T Internet access and cable. Beds are comfy, room is very clean. Hot breakfast served each morning, including eggs, sausage, biscuits, etc. Staff is friendly and professional. Would definitely stay here again whenever we come to the Tampa area!

Melodie: amazing. Pam: hospitable. They made my stay THE ABSOLUTE BEST OUT OF ANY HILTON OWNED PROPERTY. They made me not want to leave. They were just great human beings and it illuminated thru their work. Hampton: you are blessed to have them. Blessed! Xoxo Melodie and Pam! Cons-They are charging 13% tax on purchased movies vs the actual 7% rate. If you call them on it they refund it in cash rather than fix the issue. It was roughly 1.00 more for the movie but it is clear they do it all the time and rarely have to refund the overcharge. Pros- Good price ~89$ for 4 people. Excellent breakfast buffet. Beds so-so on comfort level, a little soft for my preference. Clean room and bathroom.

Felicias breakfast service was marvelous & she was an awesome host. The facility was beautiful & in tip top shape. All the staff we encountered were top notch. They even had wine glasses behind the counter to lend so I wouldnt have to enjoy my night cap sleeping pill from a paper cup! Now if only they had a back up generator for the near 2 hour power outage due to lightning strike to area transformer

A fine hotel. Stayed here a couple of times and probably will again... Spacious suite rooms and the location is a very short distance to the Hard Rock Casino. Friendly staff and the breakfast host is helpful too... Ive always found the Hampton chain to be very reliable for 20 plus years staying in them...

Called at 6am told them be there at 1pm and needed a bed after 13 hours of driving, they said no problem, when got there at 1230 they said no rooms would be clean until 3pm. Parking lot was empty. Very rude staff. Was planning staying for 2 weeks, but cancel it all. Holiday Inn was happy to take us inn.

For some reason they cant check you out at particular times because of "running an audit". I have never had this issue anywhere, but here. My Brother also had the same issue this time and last time. I had to call the next morning to verify I was checked out and I had not been.

The room was very clean and the service was excellent. I particularly appreciated the stability of the internet and the nice lobby downstairs, as I was able to get a lot of work down without distraction. I would recommend the Hampton to anyone needing a stay in the area.

Great customer service ! Front desk called our room to check if we needed anything 30 minutes after checking in. I left some belongings in my room on checkout and Phillip and housekeeping promptly mailed me my items! Including a Credit Card! Definitely will be back..

Really nice... new everything. Price was ok for the shuttle to be included. Parking and the hassle at the casino makes the room price even more acceptable. ... stay here if you can. Youll be satisfied. And its guaranteed. Its on a sign at the front desk

With no reservations they gave me a deal. Great customer service on the whim! Very clean neat room. Continental breakfast surprisingly above satisfactory, recommended. Made a taxing long drive much easier to get over. Thank you folks at Hampton Inn & Suites.

If you are looking to get a full nights sleep without interruption do NOT stay here! The closing of the doors is so loud its like slamming every time and you will get woken up. Been here for 10 days and havent had one night of uninterrupted sleep.

Tried to stay at this location as a Hilton Diamond member but management would not bend on min 2 nights stay, very disappointed. Very clear that whoever runs this hotel clearly cares more about profit than people and loyalty.

This is a clean and well located Hampton Inn... The rooms were clean and not too worn. The clientele was defintitely on the older side, but noy too bad for a lower tier hotel. Worth what I paid.

The odd numbered rooms are away from the interstate and very quiet. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. One young man even helped a confused elderly person help find her family.

I have stayed here several times before. Hotel is very clean. Road noise from the highway is almost non-existent. Its a short drive or free shuttle to the casino.
