I was super excited about a garretts finally being in the Metro Detroit Area, then I got myself some of the popcorn. The first 10 handfuls were delicious, then the cheese turned to rubber like magic. It was stale and chewy like it was weeks old the same day I got it. I thought maybe I just got a bad batch and went back and got more. I purchased a bag of just cheese as well. That entire bag was stale within 2 hours after purchase.

Not sure because it is not originally from here but the cheese popcorn is really buttery and not in a good way. Its like greasy and I have ordered online and have waited in the long lines to grab tins from one of the stores in Chicago plenty of times. The one in Novi is different for sure.

Good cheese popcorn but if you get a $13 jumbo bag make sure to eat it in the very short near future or it will go mushy and stale not even 24 hrs later. Read the fine print on the bag. I also called the corp sales office and online chat. We will not be doing Garretts again.

I too purchased a mixed bag of caramel and cheese and I opened my ag that night and the cheese corn was stale as ever! When they first opened it was fresh for days but all of a sudden they changed something cuz its not lasting- time to find another place!

I came to visit family from Florida and finally had a chance to try Garretts Popcorn shop. The popcorn was real good. I got the Garrett Mix and fell in love. Will most definitely be visiting again.
