Both desk clerks were inept, lethargic trolls. These gals obviously had no idea how fortunate they were to have come upon such a hapless proprietor as their rude and unnecessarily uncooperative response to virtually every routine question would almost always result in terminations for the pair. To say nothing of their inattention to matters cleanliness and sanitary conditions in lobby breakfast area where a pile of someones toenails currently resides. The two obese repellent simpletons were unconcerned about this and the chain of some large watterbug like pests issuing along the entry level hall as well. They actually called the police and tried in inept halfwit fashion to justify the waste of officers time and obvious intent to steal the cash deposit on my room they took in the meanwhile by accusing me of "belligerence" at taking issue with being called a jackass by the owner operator on way down from removing my articles from room. His verbal abuse was unprovoked but not unanswered in kind. So after throwing out a paying customer for trying bring their attention to some glaringly inelegant features of their property. They then called Tampa police and forced them to come and fill out paper work and then in the end tell them they did still have to return the stolen cash deposit of course. Their very low intelligence left them flabbergasted but without recourse but to return my money and pretend they hadnt been attempting to steal from a customer. The owner was perhaps borderline retarded tho, I will say, which could explain his dimwit disconnected response to everything taking place in front of him and catatonic state when the police arrived and quickly left. Obviously disgusted with this ignorant self important pig man who Im pretty sure I witnessed fondling himself in the midst of his degrading brush with the actual impotence and and pettiness of his meager contribution to human existence and turd like quality exemplified by all facets of his personality and absence of even the slightest effort at personal hygiene.

Flight got in at 5 am, but staff was confused about our scenario and how to let us have a quick place to crash. They wanted to bill us for two days, since the 6-8 hours we wanted to stay overlapped with their cleaning schedule, I assume. I finally got someone who knew that I needed to book the previous night and just get a late checkout. Unfortunately when we got there, they wanted to charge us another $25 per room (party of 6 so we had 2 rooms) for an afternoon checkout. Forget it. The front staff needs to spend 30 seconds in a Vegas hotel entrance to get the BASICS. One receptionist asked me how she could help me, then when I told her I have a reservation, she TOLD me I would have to wait until she was done counting her drawer. Are you f-ing serious? Go count your drawer in the back and stop offering to help people. I almost canceled the whole thing, but we were all just too tired from our red eye flight. There are several decent competitors right next door.

I was very pleased with my stay here for a visit to Busch Gardens. My family and I spent two nights in this hotel. all-in-all, I would stay again. Heres a list of pros and cons: PROS: -Speedy and friendly check in -great breakfast and business center -Very clean rooms, only the lamps needed dusting -Rooms smelled nice -Good ambiance in the lobby, ATM on-site for convenience -Spacious room for the price CONS: -Lamps were dusty -Lamp on nightstand was inoperable, I left a note on it. -Water pressure on bathroom sink was VERY lacking (room 513) -No safe in room -Felt rushed out of the breakfast area before 0930 - things were empty and not refilled, lights being shut off before we were finished. -No receipt offered at checkout

I stayed here recently with my son and my husband. We were attending a concert across the street at the fairgrounds. The hotel was clean comfortable and convenient. We also took advantage of the shuttle to the hard rock. The driver was professional and courteous. I would recommend this hotel if you are going to a concert at the fairgrounds. We walked back to the hotel in about 10 minutes and beat all the traffic. You can also book a room here through the Hard Rock Hotel and get quite a discount. We will be staying here again. Maybe next time we can take advantage of the pool which our room overlooked. It was clean and was inviting.

After a miserable experience at another chain, I called the Comffort Suites and Kyle was courteous and more than accommodating. Although the hotel was nearly sold out, he found me a room and by the time I got to the property, he had arranged for me to be able to stay both nights. Everything about this property is first rate - from the staff to the cleanliness. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. Further, although they were sold out for the third night, they were able to once again accommodate me. Thank you for turning around a business trip that got off to a very bad start.

This was my 1st time at this property and I can tell you I LOVED IT!!!!....the people from check-in to the breakfast staff ---- Angela, Hector, Irma (breakfast staff), Tony the shuttle driver to the CASINO....made our stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel is located across from the Tampa Fairgrounds off 301 and I-4. We had 5 rooms all in the same floor.....oh and before I forget...the room attendants were great as well..our rooms were cleaned and spacious....Thanks you guys for making my graduation/mini family reunion so perfect....We will definitely come back to visit and stay......

A beautiful hotel earning 4 stars! The parking lot is difficult to get in and out of but the staff was fantastic the rooms were immaculate could not have asked for a better stay. A delicious Continental breakfast was provided. And the staff was gracious enough to allow numerous guests to eat late even though the buffet ended at 10a.m. making sure everyone had enough and didnt need anything else. The rooms were clean and immaculate. The staff in housekeeping were amazing, helpful, kind and did a great job! Not a single negative here. One of the best hotels in Florida! Thank you!!

Garbage customer service. Attempted to charge my credit card the day before we even arrived. Claimed we needed to be pre-approved. Bull crap...period. The person my wife spoke to was rude, and said if we werent pre-approved we couldnt stay. In all my years of federal service travel Ive never experienced such poor service. The hotel might be nice...bottom line is well never know nor will be ever patronize any of their other establishments.

This hotel is my "go to" for business trips in Tampa. Ive been staying here 2 years now, sometimes for stretches of 2 weeks at a time. The hotel is clean and comfortable in addition to me feeling of safe. These are my 3 biggest things when it comes to picking a hotel and they nailed it! Breakfast is great, a lot of variety. Convenient location to the highways and close by Tampa attractions and the Brandon area. Fair prices. Excellent hotel!

Communication is severely lacking in this hotel. Sure they have beds and rooms. If you need anything beyond that you are rolling the dice. Casino shuttle runs severely off schedule and will often just not show up. I needed it only 4 times and it failed me twice. Desk wont help you either they just defer to the AM boss who also.... wont do anything.typical pass the blame management. Stay somewhere else.
