Hotel is very convenient for attending events at the Tampa fairgrounds which is across the street. But stay here only if you like tired hotels with sinks that dont drain and water that never gets hot no matter the time of day. We stayed for 2 nights beginning on 18th of January 2017 and while the hotel staff are friendly, there is obviously a lack of investment being made in this hotel to maintain a standard of most Holiday Inn Express hotels. I wrote a review on the IHG web-site about my stay and received a mail back stating it was rejected because it included personal information, provided a link to edit but the link was dead. Guess they dont like honest reviews.

From the time we stepped into the lobby we were VERY impressed! Madeline was very friendly upon check-in and check-out. The location was great, for we were attending a concert across the road. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast, the following morning, was delicious and pleasant. There were many varieties of food, but the best part of breakfast was the staff. Diane and Lauren went out of their way to keep the guests happy, the room clean and the food stocked. We will DEFINITELY stay here when we are in the area!

Room was okay, expected a bit more space for a "suite". But it was clean and bathroom was fine. Only issues we had were: 1. Wifi - constantly disconnected, and even when it was connected was very slow. Dont advertise it if it doesnt work. 2. Carpet in room was wet when we arrived. Probably because they used a steam clean vacuum to clean, which is nice. But it should be allowed to dry before you sell the room. Location is not great; nothing really within walking distance except the Fairgrounds and a Five Guys Burger joint.

Stayed here after attending a concert across the street. Location was perfect for walking to and from the amphitheater and was able to stay for the finale without worrying about traffic. Bottled water at check in was much appreciated. Rooms were quiet, very clean and comfortable. Especially enjoyed the nice variety of hot and cold breakfast options - all were delicious. Front desk even provided a complimentary comb when we found ourselves without one. Wouldnt hesitate to stay again.

I had a great experience at this hotel. I booked here after cancelling at a hotel a block over because of their scary reviews. I stayed 2 nights and was attending an event across the street at the fair grounds. The front desk receptionist was extremely friendly, pleasent, funny and checked us in quickly. (I dont remember her name but she had beautiful long silver hair). Parking was easy, room and bathroom were nice and clean, room was quiet and pool was clean. HIGHLY recommended!

Evacuated to this Holiday Inn with two large dogs for Hurricane Matthew from east coast. ALL staff was very kind, helpful and friendly. Service was great. Staff was GREAT with cleaning up after people who did NOT clean up after their dogs. Only complaint was that the housekeeping staff did NOT speak English! We play charades when I had to communicate with them. How can you have a job in America working with the public and NOT SPEAK ENGLISH????? Otherwise a great stay!

We stayed here because they are dog friendly. For the price, I expected more. For the name, too. Our first impression was a broken back door. The room had 2 queen beds, even though we requested a single king. The room wasnt the cleanest, the bathtub is old and cracking, molding falling out of the wall... Just not a great experience. They have breakfast, which wasnt bad, but nothing to write home about. Good location, but not the nicest hotel Ive stayed in.

LOVED THIS HOTEL!!! Only dog friendly hotel that I found that allowed a dog as big as ours (100 lbs) to stay in with us. The pet fee was only 20$ per dog, and the staff was super friendly. We also had the free breakfast and it was actually very good! The rooms were clean and I have absolutely no complaints !! This hotel was only 15 minutes from Busch Gardens and the amphitheater was close also. Def staying here again next time we visit Tampa!!!

Great staff and standard HIE quality. I pick this hotel often when working with shows at the amp theatre. Most shows sell out the hotel so if you know your schedule book early. The hamburger place next door is awesome and wing place on the other side. never a minute of hunger at that place. All good !!! and yea the pool small and little warm! but its 95 degrees in Florida. :)

They were very nice during a very stressful time (Hurricane Matthew). Unfortunately, the rooms were not that clean, and there is only one elevator the was extremely slow. So, during a very crowded, stressful time that felt very unfortunate. However I am very grateful that there was a room when we all needed it during an evacuation.

The rooms were big, about the size of the rooms at embassy suites, but obviously much cheaper. The beds and pillows were comfy, the amenities were nice and the breakfast was free and good. The room we were in did look like it had some water damage on the ceiling, but other than that, everything was was great for the price.

Its decent -- nothing noteworthy positive or negative. Its a HIE. Parking is a little wonky, from a side street. Theres a Wings & More and gas station next door. Its not somewhere Id vacation, but to night over for business, its what I expect. Although, if youre an IHG Platinum, dont expect a room upgrade :/

Location was right near I4. It is currently undergoing renovations and the newly renovated rooms are very nice. Staff was very nice and accomodating. Parking was a challenge due to the renovations and all the storage out in the parking lot. There is also a Five Guys right next door within walking distance.

The staff is very friendly but the beds are kinda hard and does not feel like most holiday inns. The walls are very thin and can hear everything people are saying in the next room. They did change our room but it did not make a difference. You can hear everythimg someone went to the bathroom

Abolutely wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Everything was spotless especially the bathroom. When we asked for a few extras, coffee packets, plastic bags for dirty clothes, it was there. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

perfect place for a great price! We got in late, so the cribs were all taken. But the bes was comfortable with two different pillows soft and firm! Free breakfast, wifi and parking was a plus! It is right across from the fairgrounds!

Nice hotel with clean rooms, great service and a friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay. Visiting from Germany the breakfast is different than the ones they serve in the HI Express there but not bad.

The Pan Cake maker had the wrong mixing just to make the pan cake almost inedible and thick. Very disappointed. In room, the telephone set was not working, no wake up called came. Otherwise very happy.

This was the most appealing looking architecture Ive ever seen on a hotel. It was not your typical plain concrete box hotel. This place is like a warm inviting cozy little slice if

Clean hotel but the room I had had thin walls! Not many restaurants within walking distance but plenty to go to by car. Very close to the State Fair grounds, if youre into that.
