Would give zero if I could. I am concerned and utterly amazed about the reviews from Copper Hills. First of all, $50 is a complete rip off for a goat farm. I played the Jungle then Marsh from the blue tees on 6/25/2017 at an 8AM tee time. Lets look at some of the features: 1. Tee boxes - grass is long and weedy, some tee boxes didnt even have markers (#2 on the Marsh), and about 30-40% didnt have complete sets of markers. 2. Tee shots - this one can be perceived as personal opinion but most tee shots on Jungle are blind. Some of that is due to the neglect of front covering. Neglect seems to be a common trend at Copper Hills. 3. Fairways - they are in disgusting shape, barely cut to a good level, drives do not roll out, the fairway and rough are barely distinguishable. The fairways were the absolute worst part of the course. For $50, pine trace, boulder pointe, cherry creek, fieldstone (to name a few) have way nicer conditions and imo more established management personnel. 4. Greens - they are what they are, challenging and poorly maintained. A couple of the holes have gouges in the green (try putting across a crater for $50). Most greens have fringes covered in crab grass. 5 - Bunkers - holy smokes the bunkers are not even remotely maintained. They throw these little rakes in there almost like they are laughing at you for stealing $50. The bunkers are UNPLAYABLE and should be filled in with dirt and grass. What a joke... 6 - Golf Carts - the first one we took out died on us on the second hole (@8AM??). We had to call into clubhouse and get a replacement. All of the carts look like they have mold on them and are in disgusting condition. Cheap @$$ management cant invest in new carts when ALL other $50 (+/- $10) golf courses are or have. Tough course and could be a really good gem if properly maintained. Sucks to see a great piece of property go to waste year after year. They still have golf digest top courses from 1999-2000 on the scorecards (Almost 20 years ago HAHAHAH). That says a lot about the course and what they are trying to do with it (steal your money). I really hope this review serves the purpose of informing golfers to think about their other choices before spending $50 and a PSA to the management to get their stuff together and make serious changes. Start with the fairways, bunkers and lower your price to Blackheath standards. You are a $20-25 course and nothing better. I will not be playing here any time soon but will come back next year to see if any changes have been made. PS. This is the first review I have ever written on social media. As an avid golfer and a love for the game, I thought it was necessary to write this.

Played the Hills and Marsh courses 10/23.2012. Used an expired groupgolfer certificate intending to pay the difference between what I paid for the cert ($29) and current cost ($30). uh uh. First, the woman there saw me walking up and didnt say a hello or anything which I just shrugged off at the time. Then we got inside the "clubhouse" and I told her about the cert and that Id be happy to pay the dollar difference. She started complaining about how groupgolfer only paid her 24.65 and I make up the difference from that. I said my understanding was that GG policy is the cert cost is its value. As I tried to read the print at the bottom of the cert this maddening woman kept yapping and complaining and said "do you want to golf or not?". I thought that was quite rude and informed her my only question was with the fine print and I had no issue with her nor had I any concern about the arrangement between her and GG. I was close to telling her to put a cork in it because the constant squawking was starting to get to me. So finally to shut her up I said I had no problem with paying the $5.65, did so and got on with my life. I contacted GG and they credited me $5 which is to their credit (stand up business in my opinion). As for the course, it is beautiful. Hole 7 is an absolutely beautiful par 3 on the Marsh that is downhill with water on the right surrounded by trees all around in the back and flanking the water, two beautiful homes on the left. I did not play the Jungle. If I lived closer I would play again for the very reasonable senior rate of $30.

Interesting track, definitely can be a challenge. Pace of play was fantastic. I was disappointed with the course conditions. Fairways needed grooming, tee boxes were terrible with some missing tee markers, greens werent in the best condition and needed repair/cutting. The sand bunkers were literally unplayable with a sign inside that read "bunkers under repair - take a free drop". There wasnt sand in the bunkers at all - completely washed away down to dirt and rock. Golf carts were pretty garbage - seats all torn up with some kind of black residue all over the leather. I normally dont care about this, I am there to golf, but it was very symbolic of the conditions of the overall facility. I hope Copper Hills can get back to focusing on taking care of their course. It is a great lay out with a ton of potential, but I will not be back to pay $50 for a course thats condition is on par with The Myth...

One of the greatest northern Oakland county courses that doesnt get enough attention. Gorgeous layout with 27 holes, very secluded feeling on most holes, and cart paths between holes provide many opportunities for reflection. Course combines nice playability with enough challenging water carries and difficult pin placements to make it interesting. Courses were in great shape minus the traps, but signs posted indicated that they would soon be renovated. Reasonable greens fees and friendly staff. Dont let the lack of a fancy clubhouse deter you from trying this course. Money spent where it matters...on the course.

Love this course. We play Copper once or twice a week all golf season. The fairways and greens are all in good condition. The bunkers arent good but you can see work underway to improve the bunkers. The course is challenging with wetlands and a few ponds you will need to avoid. It is a good idea to bring a few extra golf balls. We are older golfers so we play the white tees on most holes but move forward on a few holes to make them in range for us. Based on pace of play and value, if I could only play one course in this area Copper Hills would be my choice.

Everyone who works at this course is incompetent. Waited in line for a good 20 minutes (when I was there ahead of time) only to have the guy working the register be completely rude to me. I believe he was bald. The golf was below par for what you pay. There were puddles everywhere(when it hadnt rained), uncut greens, dry grass, and the tee boxes were completely destroyed with divots, cigarette butts, and broken tees and it was only 10:00 AM so obviously they dont keep up their course. Dont do it!!!!!!!!

I would never golf this course, the customer service is the worst experience I have ever endured, Ask to speak to the general manager, the rude and completely unprofessional woman at the desk, who is named Donna, said she was the owner, if that is true, this place follows the lead of it owner, the attitude of this witch reflects the leadership, I will never golf here again, even if they paid me,
