WARNING. This theater does not card ANYONE who enters an R-rated feature. There were giddy, annoying, and disrespectful young kids (About 13 and 14 yrs old) in the showing of "Annabelle: Creation" two nights ago just laughing and talking during the entire film. This made for a very unpleasant moviegoing experience. Im from the Uniontown area, so our theater is very small and disgusting. I go to the Pittsburgh area to see movies, hoping the experience will be better. However, this particular theater is AWFUL. The ticket prices are outrageous! $12.50 to see a movie! On top of that, the theater we were in was having a sound quality issue. The sound was only coming out of the speakers in the front of the theater, not all the way in the back, as well, like its supposed to. I explained to the manager on duty the sound quality issue, she said she would fix it, but never did. The entire movie was particularly quiet, and then I had to deal with those disruptive kids who shouldnt have even been in that theater in the first place, if they would just CARD! I talked to the manager once again, after the movie, about the disruptive kids. She apologized, insisted that her and the employees do indeed "card everyone" for R-rated features (mm-hmm, sure). She gave me two free movie passes for the inconvenience, but I WILL NOT be returning to this theater ever again. The only pro of this theater is that its right across from the South Hills Village mall, but I would honestly much rather drive the extra 20 minutes to The Waterfront, rather than come here again!

Horrible experience today (4/1/2017). I took my sons to see Lego Batman and was looking forward to having a good time. We waited in line for 30 min to purchase tickets, for a morning showing. Kids working at the registers. Our cashier kept walking away leaving all of us in the line wondering what was happening. Once we were waited on I ended up dropping $50 for three tickets, two small popcorns ($6.79) and two small sodas ($5.59). Rip off! Then we had to wait and additional 10 minutes for our popcorn due the ineptness of the staff. Poor training. A manager finally appears but doesnt seem to make any impact. There was no ticket taker to take our tickets and direct traffic. I had to ask for our 3D glasses since there was not a soul around. None of the small marquees showed what movies were in what theaters, because they were all off!!!! Once we were situated, I said to myself, "self it cant get any worse". Wrong! The movies starts 20 minutes late and I had to go out to the lobby three times to tell the "kids" working. Manager was no where to be found. Needless to say, we will not be going back to this theater.

Very convinient location next to trolley stop and your choice of restaurants. The theater experience its self is on par with the bargain Tuesday prices: the place is far from filthy though definitely not as clean as it should be, there are occasional issues with the projection of the movies, the sound occasionally just stops, or the movie will randomly stop playing 2/3 of the way through and the lights will come on, or the movie wont start playing till a half hour after it was supposed to and will start 30 minutes in, so you miss the start of the movie. Actually this place is horrible lol. But it is convinient.

I went today to see War of the planet of the apes. Once I arrived we got snacks the cashier was sort of friendly. But, the deeper I went into the theater the more filthy it got. Once I got to the theater their was popcorn under the chairs and even worse their was gum on my chair. Every trash can I saw was full. The bathroom oh,god it was filthy first of all the soap was out and so were the paper towels on top of that the floor was covered is trash and was wet in some spots. The movie was very good but the theater was not good. The only good thing about this place is the location.

Reminds me of a theater straight out of the 90s so a bit dated. The place could use a solid cleaning as it was pretty filthy. Sticky floors, gross looking seats and two mens rooms that smelled like stale pee. Convenience, location and the ability to see movies are the only thing this place has going for it. The minimum standards for a place to be a theater really. Could benefit from a remodel or a rebuild/relocation to another section of the malls lot.

Really dirty, the whole lobby area smells like pee. The floors in the lobby and bathroom were really sticky. No ticket taker. Also really pricey 12+ for a ticket and 6+ for a small soda. Waterfront and century square are much cleaner and cheaper and have more to offer. Really has gone downhill. The theater itself wasnt bad (comfortable, good sound and screen)

Filthy. Unfriendly staff. My wifes flip flop stuck to the floor. All the floors were sticky. Both bathrooms did not have towels. The theater sucked compared to the competition. If youre going to spend the same amount of money on a movie, go to Robinson. Its almost like this Carmike 10 is going out of business and they have just stopped caring.

We still call this theatre Carmike 10 even after they joined AMC. They probably sell the cheapest theatre tickets in the Pittsburgh area! We never pay more than $10 per ticket here. The theatres at south side and water front are always charging you a lot more for movie tickets. The seats here are comfortable. The staff are friendly.

I forgot my phone and didnt realize it until I got home after midnight from a late Tuesday movie. We called the theater and the manager Andy stayed late after closibg for us to come pick up my phone. He was the only one in the lot and I really appreciated it a lot. This is a nice theater with quality people working there.

Absolutely filthy movie theater. The seats, while comfortable, are stained and dirty. The floors were littered with popcorn and trash, the theater smelled musty (triggered an allergy attack), and my $6 bottle of water was warm because their machine was broken. I will never return and advise you to find another theater.

Wanted to go to a movie with my handicapped daughter. No signs outside describing what movies were on. In the loddy no signs for what movies are about to decide what would be appropriate for her, and when I enquired was told that there were no movies on that would be appropriate for her.

Not a bad movie theater, just be careful when you go. Teenagers can ruin a movie quickly for you at this theater. Parents in this area allow there kids to go to the movies at late hours. I try going for 10pm or later but still had a few movies ruined by these loud mouth kids.

Place is totally gross. Floor is so sticky, I think they put coke in the mop bucket to clean. The air inside smells like mold. Trying not to gag while Im watching this movie. Only come here as a last resort, dont wear good shoes, and wash your clothes when you go home.
