Had refund tickets from another AMC owned theater, called 8 different times throughout the day to ask if they would honor the tickets and the phone was not answered any of the times I called. Had to get in touch with the other theater in which the manager there emailed the manager of the AMC theater to get an answer and was told that they would honor the ticket there. Went to this location and they were rude about the ticket (even told us that it was from an AMC theater within the same branch) and would not honor the ticket. We took our business elsewhere and they missed out on $50+ worth of popcorn and drinks. I don’t understand how you can run a business and not answer the phone ONCE throughout the day, will not be returning due to the rude customer service.

Thanks to Gravity, I show your review, I agree it is a good theater with excellent sound and picture quality. But of course, the snacks are outrageously priced. So we went to mall food court and there is one place called Cafe and Scoop, this a little fast food kind place, they have Premium Ice cream, Nathens Hotdog, Pizza, and Coffee and Soda. Prices are very reasonable and the food is grate, specially the Nathens 100% all Beef hotdog they were only $1.99 with lots of choices. Close to Columbia downtown, close to all major intersection. Therefore for under 7 to 10 dollars you can enjoy movie, food, and ice cream all at one place. Love it will go often and recommend others do that too.....See you at move and ice cream place..

Clean, friendly theater with excellent sound and picture quality. All shows before noon are only $5, too! Its located inside an old mall in an old mixed-business area that is struggling to make a comeback, but this big theater is very modern and easy to get to from the parking lot. The only (minor) downside is that the arm rests do not move up out of the way. And, of course, the snacks are outrageously priced, so we never go to the concession stand. Other than that, its a great place to catch the biggest movies for only $5, provided you go after breakfast or lunch (big whoop!).

I frequent this theatre and the staff is always friendly. Normally the quality of the sound and picture is fine. Today I went to see Baby Driver. The audio quality of the previews was horrendous. I made the staff aware. Nothing was done. I asked another member of the staff and they said it would resolve during movie. He actually walked in the theater and I sat down. It was still bad. I ended up just leaving at that point but I feel like it was something they have been aware of and ignoring. No one must have sat in the theater to check.

This used to be a great theater, but sadly AMC has made zero efforts to upgrade anything here. The prices are exactly the same as more modern regal theaters nearby, and the regal reward club is FREE to boot. ($46 for 3 adults, 2 kids at a Monday 1:30pm showing). This theater has old, uncomfortable seats, with NO modern video/audio upgrades like Dolby atmos, IMAX, etc. Spend your money elsewhere, at least until they decide to give you a lower ticket price for putting up with a dated theater, with dated technology.

Wanted to give 4.5 and maybe 5 stars. It is that good. Clean, great picture quality, great sound quality, and prices arent bad at all. I always go here for my movies. I never have a problem with it. Restrooms are clean. Food are good. Yeah. One issue though and it is a big one for me. It is the seats, they arent comfortable in my opinion. I dont understand why the seats in theaters arent good? Anyway, I love this theater, its close to my place and great place to see movies. One word: great.

Price wise this is the best option. The customers here are ghetto frequently reacting to the movie as if theyre at home. They yell at the screen. Have no regards for other people in the theater by accepting calls on theyre cell phones or worst they actually bring theyre babies to the movies! Who does that? #They do!! The employees are nice & so is management. The popcorn & nachos here is pretty good.

Went to the movies there with my wife, but first we ate at one of the many different restaurants there. The AMC theater was very nice, clean and easy to get our tickets. The line move very quickly and we got to our seats with plenty of time to talk before the movie. We will be back for the great food shopping and of course, the movies.

Ive been coming here since stadium seating was state of the art. I dont go the theater often (maybe 3 times a year tops) so when I do its a special event. Since a theater 15 miles away from me just closed this is now the closest, but I seek this place out anyway. Reasonably priced abundant matinee showings dont hurt, either.

Very rude people doors were locked at 9:00 pm wouldnt let me, my girlfriend and another couple in even though we had already bought the tickets online the "manager" was disrespectful to all four of us didnt even give us the time of day. Thank you AMC for taking such good care of customers.

Ive never had a bad experience here. Wish people werent so messy and pick up their trash before leaving out. I do mean they pass right by the trash can so is not like they have to walk extra to throw the trash away. Overall I still really like the place.

Love this theatre, very clean staff very helpful. I love the rewards cards, it allows you to gain points for every dime you spend. Great place to do family movie night. We go every Tuesday for $5 movie day!!!

Very Large theatre. Staff is good but I had an incident where the ticket buyers all got on the VIP line, which I paid for. Like paying for First Class and everyone gets a seat up front for coach prices.

Burlington is one of my favorite places to shop, always orderly and I can find something that I like. Excellent prices. I purchased blue crabs for lunch $1.50 ea. Wow at The Crab Shack. Baby. Very nice.

I didnt like the strong scent of pot in the womens room outside theater 14.... I will reconsider coming back. The seats were good and the staff was fine. Seriously folks, get high somewhere else....

I really appreciate their cheaper prices on movies played earlier in the day. The staffs always courteous and kind. Bathrooms always clean. I would pick this Threater over any in Columbia.

Favorite theater in town. Has a nice movie theater vibe. Dark and cozy unlike they brightly lit shopping mall interiors of the Regal theaters around. Digital projectors and friendly staff.

The AMC website said this was a luxury theatre with reclining seats. It was anything but luxury. Stiff back straight seats. And to think I passed two nice theatres to go to this place.

This is the only theatre I attend in Columbia sc! If youre a movie goer definitely get the amc card because the more you go the more you get to upgrade and get free stuff! I love it.
