HORRIBLE!!! I went there recently to look at the place for my wedding, and was treated soooooo rudly and disrespectfully! I would NEVER ever book any event here, especially my wedding! I could not believe how obnoxious the woman we had was! She was very displeased to show us around (we had an appointment) to look at the place for our wedding!! We heard them out but when my fiancé and I looked at each other we both said "NO" within the first 2 minutes there!!!! Just to give you an idea how they treat you heres what went on! I walked in with my parents, my fiancé and my sister whos my Maid-of-honor. The woman we were put with actually rolled her eyes at us and gave us all an attitude when she had to show us around!! My sister is disabled but very high functioning. She doesnt walk very fast because of her disability. She has a balance problem and I dont think its right to be so cruel to her about it. Especially muttering things under your breath when you know very well we can all hear you!! Anyways, we asked to use the elevator for my sister but the woman rudely told us that we would not get the feeling of walking upstairs by using the elevator and she rolled her eyes multiple times at us. And so I said it would just be better for her. She said shed prefer we didnt use it. So we didnt. I had informed her of my sisters disability when she kept on complaining how she was taking long to get around. We dis tell her of my sister right away but that didnt make any difference what so ever!! She had said out loud, "wow, this is taking long" and then huffed about it! And then she would say it a few times more. After that she would change that annoying phrase with, "ugh" and then roll her eyes. When she wasnt complaining about my sister, she would not listen to us when we would ask her questions about the place. She would actually pretend to ignore us as we would repeat the questions. I would NEVER EVER come here for any affair/event!! I have never met people so rude and disrespectful!! This is not how you treat people who want to do business with you! So happy we never booked with you!! Oh and I love how after I checked your place out m, and then told people about it, they would laugh and say, "why would you ever want to go there? They are just horrible"!!! So I guess its not just my family who feel this way! Whoever does book with your place in the future, I wish them all the luck in the world because they are going to need it!!!! Please, dont book here! I heard that they will write down the things that they will promise you in a contract but then dont hold to it. So once again, I sincerely advice you look elsewhere. This place is a horror show!!!!!

I had attended events at Larkfield prior to the renovations and had a great time. It was only natural that I visit the venue as a potential wedding reception location. The space was great. However the staff was another story. Upon entering the venue, we were greeted rather awkwardly by Peter. Rather than asking who I was, we were greeted by Peter with a "Youre here to see me." I let that greeting slide. During the tour, he didnt seem confident and repeated himself a few times. At the end of viewing the facility, we really liked it and decided to put a deposit down. As we were walking out with the signed contract, Peter excused himself from us to say hello to another bride who was there for a tasting. While speaking with that bride, his demeanor completely changed. He treated here differently than us. I was a bit thrown by that as we just signed a contract and put a deposit down. After thinking and touring other facilities, we decided to pick another venue. The staff at our new location are accommodating and treats everyone the professional and courteously. When we called to get our money back, Peter proceeded to ask my fiancée who he was on the phone. I understand that they see a lot of couples but we were there only 3 days before. Peter also asked for him to call back later and send an email. The decision was made to send an email, which we did and never got an acknowledgment that he received it. It wasnt until, we called to speak to the owner to ask for our money back that it was refunded. If I had to work with Peter on any detail of my wedding, I would probably lose it. I have organized a lot of events and never have I come across someone that made me doubt even booking the facility.

Supposed to be known for their menu and quality of food and I was sorely disaapointed. Dinner was freezing cold, the chicken was so dry and the cocktail hour food bland. Pretty venue doesnt make up for the poor service by waitstaff or the lackluster food on a Sunday wedding.

I have actually attended weddings here; unlike the review from Jennifer. LOL. I love it. Cant wait to come back for another wedding this summer.

The staff was very friendly, and the food was very good. Portions were a good size, left the wedding feeling full and happy.
