My wife and I went here to see "a dogs life" today, which was a Saturday night. The theater was packed and someone had taken our seats. We got there a couple minutes into the movie so we took the nearest empty seats. About 10 minutes later some other people show up trying to get to there seats but we were in them since someone took our seats. An employee comes in because the people complained about their seats being taken.... which is ridiculous we are all grown up its really not a big deal. We didnt see any reason to go tell on the people there. This employee and the manager then go around the theater making sure everyone is in the right seat talking loudly and shining flashlights all through the theater.... WHICH IS RIDICULOUS. thats worse than someone being on their phone and it really pissed me off. Like everyone else we were there to relax on a Saturday night instead this manager is treating everyone like children. I have never experienced such incompetence from a manager. Its really ruined my experience with this movie theater. The theater itself is awesome but if this is how they train their management I am not going to spend my money here. After going through this whole ordeal I asked to talk to a manager as I couldnt believe how disruptive they were being... turns out he was the manager. He then tells me if he has to empty out the whole theater to get everyone in the right seat he will. There was no need for that there was a simple remedy to fix this but clearly there was a lack of training or they hired the wrong person for the job. I have never been to a theater that made me feel as if I was in kindergarten. WE ARE YOUR CUSTOMERS WE KEEP YOU IN BUSINESS! I dont care how nice your theater is, you have no right to ruin everyones night. Especially when we paid to see a movie and want to be able to enjoy the experience. I am not one to complain but Needless to say, I told the manager I wanted to talk to him, and he proceeded to talk to me in the theater which was ridiculous.. To be courteous to everyone else because he obviously didnt care; I told him Id talk to him outside the theater. We then got our refund and left. We are now on our way to Loews in the waterfront to enjoy our Saturday night. RESPONSE TO OWNER. You clearly dont get it. No wonder your management is clueless and completely unprofessional. You had an opportunity to make it right but your management missed their chance and being the owner so did you.... Which honestly is suprising. We have no problem with the assigned seating but when your customers dont follow it and our seats are taken we shouldnt have to go and tell... And we refuse to gour and tell on someone...This is not elementary school Id like to believe people have progressed beyond elemetary school years. Its a seat who cares. Its one thing to assign sea r so its another to interrupt a movie because of it. Your response has lost our business and all of our friends and family who up until now we recommended to your theater. We will just continue to go to Loews instead... They know how to manage a theater.

Ok I am going to be totally honest. I was not thrilled with this idea of recliners. I was actually grossed out (just an OCD thing never mind). But, we went to see Suicide Squad there today and I have found my new favorite theater! The recliners are very comfortable and clean. There was no carpeting which I absolutely love! There is nothing worse than your shoes sticking to nasty gummed up icky carpet. The tile flooring was BEAUTIFUL! The concession stand was moderately priced. $4.75 for a small (24 oz approximately) and $5.75 for a large (guessing 36 oz?) but the large has free refills (who really gets the free refill seriously?) There is a counter around the corner where straws and napkins are PLUS butter for your popcorn and flavors for your pop! Yes you read that right ... YOU BUTTER YOUR OWN POPCORN! As much or as little as you want! You can buy your tickets online or at a kiosk when you come in. You chose your seats at time of purchase. All seats are chosen at time of purchase. You pick exactly where you want to sit and that is where you will sit. If you buy them on line you are sent an email with a QRC code in it. Walk in, hit the concession stand, goto your movie and walk to your seat. That easy. The theater itself was very impressive. They took a 12 screen theater and broke it down to 6 screens. The isles are about five feet apart so your not climbing over people to get in or out. The sound was perfect, not echoing off the walls, not so quiet you were asking what was just said? The slope is perfect, the seats in front of you do not cause you any vision issues. All in all I love this theater and at $8.00 a matinee I am looking forward to seeing many more movies here. I just hope they keep it as clean as it is now.

Other than reclining seats - nothing spectacular! Cashier at consession stand very unenergetic & appeared as though she didnt like her job and was irritated. If you walked up to counter & didnt already know what everyone in your group was ordering she HUFFED! Popcorn was all small bits as though it was the end & was laying at bottom of machine - no big popped whole pieces! And what - $4.25 for a bottle of WATER! Thats the most i have ever paid - was thinking maybe there was a gold nugget or a diamond at bottom of bottle!! Not impressed at all. *****UPDATE***** So, I thought Id give it a try one week later with my other grandchildren & this time i purchased my tickets online 5 hours in advance -simple enough- and got to show 20 minutes in advance of my movie, as recommended, to purchase consessions. BUT i waited 30 minutes in line so ended up movie had started before we got seated!! Butter counter was filthy & no napkins or straws anywhere in sight. People waiting because no one was there to take anyones tickets either! THEN got to our seats & they are smeared full almost dripping of butter from popcorn - couldnt even sit down & had to go get someone to clean them off. Cup holder was so full of dried pop my bottle of water stuck in it!! Finally 15 minutes after movie started we got seated!! Purchasing tickets in advance does nothing. In my opinion this theater is too short staffed & should be a DOLLAR THEATER. Thats how i feel you are treated. NEVER GOING AGAIN. Tried it twice & each time worse than the other.

This review is solely based on my experience tonight and I want to let everyone know that normally it would be 5 stars(see 5 star reviews on why the place is awesome), but this review is to warn everyone about what happens on an opening night. I actually thought I had already left a review for here and was going to update it, but I had not, and this is what were left with. Basically, if you show up a half hour before showtime on an opening night, they will be sold out of all available showtimes. If you are lucky, they will open up more showtimes, like what happened with Spider-man Homecoming(after the first 2 showings sold out, they opened up 3 or 4 more showtimes), and you will be fine. However, at the opening for "IT", they only had 3 showtimes AND refused(with no reason given) to have anymore showtimes. We "had"(I was with other people)to go to the hell-hole known as the Waterfront AMC. Usually it isnt too bad, but that usually isnt on opening night for "IT", it was horrible. In conclusion, they need to be more prepared if they are going to have the early Thursday release showings and I need to be less spontaneous and buy tickets ahead of time.
