Its disgusting the way they operate that place.They charge what ever they want depends on who you are and what you look like. I arrived there at 3:53pm to play a round. He told me there are two guys at the tee box if i want to tee right away,i said ok and he charged me $46.00 and as i was playing with those two guys i asked them how much they paid and they told me $26.00. obviously the guy at the pro shop is racist or have some problem with my appearance. When i finished i went to pro shop and asked him why he charged me more than the guys i played with,his answer was oh Im sorry i just didnt looked at the time. Im buying a house on the golf course and i will be playing the golf course a lot.But the golf course is really nice and well groomed.My rating is based on my experience of pro shop not the golf course. I give five star to the golf course.

The Golf Club Star Ranch is one of the nicest semi-private golf course in the Austin metro area. The course offers players at all levels generous fairways on most holes but also is also very penal on shots that are overly off target. With 5 tee boxes to choose from golfers of all levels will find a tee box to fit their game. Course is maintained by an excellent staff. The Proshop is well stocked with all you need and the staff is friendly and ready to help. You wont regret a trip around this track...Have fun.

May 24th 2017, Made a golf trip to Star Ranch and got the all inclusive deal. The course was in great condition, fairways plush and greens were fast and true. Had a good breakfast buffet before the round and a good lunch after 18. Ended up playing 18 more and made the day there. Club pros and starter we very courteous and all made for a great day of golf. Cant beat this deal, and will match the course with any I have played around Austin. Thanks for a great golf outing.

The course is in such great shape. Fairways were wonderful to hit off of, and the greens were backing up all my iron shots. The staff was friendly. They. I shot my best round ever (67), which may influence my positive review, but it really was an exceptionally well maintained public course. I would highly recommend

Attended private party here. Food was great. Construction on road and no easily identifiable sign (no external lights, no lighted sign, etc) to notify you where to turn in did not help many attendees while they were trying to find the place at night though.

A great golf course at a fantastic price. Breakfast and lunch were included with the round of golf and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Some challenging holes and many picturesque holes as well. A "must visit" if you are in the Austin area.

8 handicap. This is 5 stsr. Fabulous layout. Nice driving and chipping range with free balls. Greens in awesome shape. Generous fairways. Breakfast and lunch buffet included and was much better than anticipated. Everything first $70. What a steal.

I have played this course 3 times in the last 6 months and it is in great shape. You cant beat the breakfast and lunch with a round of golf for 70 dollars. Will continue to play here. Just wish there membership was not as pricey

Friendly people, reasonable prices and a well maintained course. A little on the "open" side, but I prefer "open" to playing golf between houses. A typical round of golf on the weekend takes about 4 -4.5 hours.
